The dissociative ionization of 4,4-dimethyl-1-thia-4-silacyclohexane (I) and 2,3,3-trimethyl-1-thia-3-silacyclopentane(II) has been studied by electron photoionization (PI) mass spectrometric methods. The molecular ion fragmentation is mainly related to the loss of ethylene and results in a [Me2SiSC2H4]+? (m/z 118) ion-radical (A). Further loss of ethylene from A produces a dimethylsilanethione [Me2SiS]+? (m/z 90) ion-radical (B). The latter is the most abundant ion in the mass spectra of I and II at 70 eV.The ionization energies (IE) of I (8.22 ± 0.07 eV) and II (8.06 ± 0.03 eV) and the appearance energies (AE) of ion-radicals A and B have been determined. Also, the following heats of formation were calculated (kJ/mol): ΔHf0(I) = ?31.1; ΔHf0(II) = ?65.8; ΔHf0(MI+?) = 762.0; ΔHf0(MII+?)= 712.1; ΔHf0(A)aver = 780.2; ΔHf0(B)aver = 847.7.  相似文献

The oxidation of uric acid has been studied by thin-layer spectroelectrochemistry using an optically transparent gold minigrid electrode and enzymatically using peroxidase. Under both enzymatic and electrochemical conditions a u.v.-absorbing intermediate (λmax=302–304 nm between pH 7–9.3) is observed. This intermediate is proposed to be an imine-alcohol species formed by rapid hydration of the primary reaction product which is a diimine. Under the conditions employed in both the enzymatic electrochemical studies the imine-alcohol intermediate is hydrated in a first order reaction with an observed rate constant of 3.5×10?3s?1 between pH 7–9.3. This study establishes the similarity between the electrochemical and enzymatic oxidation of uric acid and indicates that electrochemical investigations of the redox behavior of purines can provide unique insights into their biological redox properties.  相似文献

The heat capacities of potassium, rubidium, cesium, and thallium azides were determined from 5 to 350 K by adiabatic calorimetry. Although the alkali-metal azides studied in this work exhibited no thermal anomalies over the temperature range studied, thallium azide has a bifurcated anomaly with two maxima at (233.0±0.1) K and (242.04±0.02) K. The associated excess entropy was 0.90 calth K?1 mol?1. The thermal properties of the azides and the corresponding structurally similar hydrogen difluorides are nearly identical. Both have linear symmetrical anions. However, thallium azide shows a solid-solid phase transition not exhibited by thallium hydrogen difluoride. At 298.15 K the values of Cpo, So, and ?{Go(T)?Ho(0)}T, respectively, are 18.38, 24.86, and 12.676 calth K?1 mol?1 for potassium azide; 19.09, 28.78, and 15.58 calth K?1 mol?1 for rubidium azide; 19.89, 32.11, and 18.17 calth K?1 mol?1 for cesium azide; and 19.26, 32.09, and 18.69 calth K?1 mol?1 for thallium azide. Heat capacities at constant volume for KN3 were deduced from infrared and Raman data.  相似文献

The regioselectivity of the hydroboration of the methylchlorovinylsilanes, ClnMe3?nSiCHCH2 (n= 0 ? 3), has been investigated using BH3←THF, 9-BBN, disiamyl- and dicyclohexylborane. Methylation of the adducts with methylmagnesium bromide is complicated by formation of tetraalkylboronates. Alkaline hydrogen peroxide oxidation of the boronates gives reasonable yields of the corresponding α- and β-trimethylsilylethanols forn= 0 and 1. Forn= 2 and 3, conversion of the adducts to the corresponding α- and β- deuteroethylsilanes by treatment with excess sodium methoxide in methanol-0-d provides a more effective means of derivatization. Addition of the alkenes,n= 2 or 3, to excess BH3←THF givesca. 90% of the α-boro-organo-chlorosilanes. For all of the alkenes, the dialkylboranes giveca. 80% of the β-boron adducts.  相似文献

Cobalt(I) carbonyl complexes of formula [Co(CO)n(P)5?n]ClO4 (n = 1, 2, 3; P = secondary or tertiary phosphine) have been prepared by reaction of CO under ambient conditions with Co(ClO4)2 · 6H2O and phosphine in isopropyl alcohol. The chemical and spectroscopic properties of these complexes are described and the stoichiometry and mechanism of the carbonylation reaction discussed.  相似文献

As cesium hexanitratouranium(IV), Cs2U(NO3)6, has the same Cs:U stoichiometry as that of Cs2UO4, thermal decomposition of this nitrato complex in air and nitrogen was studied in detail as a possible alternate method of preparing pure Cs2UO4. The volatility of cesium nitrate, which is one of the intermediate products, changed this Cs:U ratio during thermal decomposition. Hence, only Cs2U2O7 was obtained on heating the sample to 775 K or higher. A scheme for the thermal decomposition of Cs2U(NO3)6 is given by combining the observed TG, XRD and IR data.  相似文献

Rate laws presented to date for analysis of a.c. cyclic voltammetric data have invoked the so-called “slow scan limit approximation” which requires that ΔEω ? v, where Δ E and ω are the applied a.c. potential amplitude and angular frequency, respectively, and v is the d.c. potential scan rate. To provide a more useful guideline for the experimentalist than this qualitative condition, a pure digital simulation approach has been used to compute the a.c. cyclic time domain waveform for a reversible process under small amplitude conditions. The a.c. content of this waveform is extracted by the digital FFT alogirthm. Results of this study are presented here. Among the conclusions reached are more quantitative limitations for the slow scan limit rate laws describing the fundamental and second harmonic responses (approximately 128 a.c. cycles/d.c. cyclic sweep and 512 a.c. cycles/d.c. cyclic sweep, respectively) and an interesting prediction that the latter limitations can be relaxed further by a current waveform subtraction strategy, to as low as about 16 a.c. cycles/d.c. cyclic sweep for the fundamental and second harmonics. The cycles/sweep values assume one triangular wave potential scan of ±200 mV is encompassed.  相似文献

The thermal diffusivity values of eight minerals that are commonly associated with oil shales of the Green River formation have been measured by the laser flash technique. Data are presented in the temperature range 25–500°C for quartz, dolomite, calcite, plagioclase, analcite, pyrite, potassium feldspar and low albite. A comparison of the thermal conductivities of some of these minerals, calculated from experimentally measured thermal diffusivity and density, with the experimental values reported in the literature reveals good agreement. Trends in the variation of thermal diffusivity with temperature and anisotropic effects in thermophysical parameters are discussed from the point of view of grain boundary effects in these polycrystalline mineral aggregates.  相似文献
