The nonhydrolyzable fluorescent diether analog of phosphatidylcholine, 1-O-hexadecyl-2-0-pyrenedecyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine, has been synthesized as a stable probe for the determination of phospholipid transfer to different lipoprotein classes with potential phospholipase activities. After incubation of total human serum with the new probe at 37°C for 3 hours a characteristic partition equilibrium between the main lipoprotein fractions was observed. The fluorescent lipid was not degraded under these conditions and, therefore, served as a marker for choline glycerophospholipid distribution between and transport to serum lipoproteins. 相似文献

The elastic constants of single crystal galena have been determined from the measured ultrasonic velocities down to liquid
helium temperature. A cryostat incorporating an arrangement to inject the liquid bonding material at low temperature is described.
At 5 K, the values of elastic constants are C11=14.90, C12=3.51 and C44=2.92×1010 N/m2. 相似文献

Free-standing thick films of spinel ferrite, Ni0.89−xCu0.11ZnxFe2O4 with x=0.55 and 0.60, were prepared as fillers to fabricate electromagnetic composites. Compared to those made with conventional spherical fillers, the composites made with thick film fillers showed enhanced static permeability (μ′0) and maximum imaginary permeability (μ″max). At the same time, complex permittivity (ε′ and ε″) were almost unchanged. A relative bandwidth WR of 7–8 was achieved, which is about 75% of the theoretical maximum relative bandwidth. These composites are potential candidates as electromagnetic attenuation materials with ultrabroad absorption bandwidth in L and S bands. 相似文献

Two new techniques have been used to measure the lattice damage produced in gallium arsenide by the implantation of 60 keV cadmium ions. In one of these methods, optical reflection spectra of the ion-implanted samples were measured in the wavelength range from 2000 to 4600Å. The decrease in reflectivity resulting from ion- implantation was used to determine the relative amount of lattice damage as a function of ion dose. The second technique employed the scanning electron microscope. Patterns very similar in appearance to Kikuchi electron diffraction patterns are obtained when the secondary and/or backscattered electron intensity is displayed in the scanning electron microscope as a function of the angle of incidence of the electron beam on a single crystal surface. The degradation of these ‘Coates-Kikuchi’ patterns resulting from ion implantation was used to obtain a quantitative measure of the lattice damage caused by the implantation process. The results of measurements made by both of the methods described have been compared with each other, and with data obtained by the more established method of measuring lattice damage by Rutherford scattering of 1 MeV helium ions. 相似文献

The encoding process of finding the best-matched codeword (winner) for a certain input vector in image vector quantization (VQ) is computationally very expensive due to a lot of k-dimensional Euclidean distance computations. In order to speed up the VQ encoding process, it is beneficial to firstly estimate how large the Euclidean distance is between the input vector and a candidate codeword by using appropriate low dimensional features of a vector instead of an immediate Euclidean distance computation. If the estimated Euclidean distance is large enough, it implies that the current candidate codeword could not be a winner so that it can be rejected safely and thus avoid actual Euclidean distance computation. Sum (1-D), L2 norm (1-D) and partial sums (2-D) of a vector are used together as the appropriate features in this paper because they are the first three simplest features. Then, four estimations of Euclidean distance between the input vector and a codeword are connected to each other by the Cauchy–Schwarz inequality to realize codeword rejection. For typical standard images with very different details (Lena, F-16, Pepper and Baboon), the final remaining must-do actual Euclidean distance computations can be eliminated obviously and the total computational cost including all overhead can also be reduced obviously compared to the state-of-the-art EEENNS method meanwhile keeping a full search (FS) equivalent PSNR. 相似文献

Abstract A brief survey of our studies of free and self-trapped excitons (FE and STE) in alkali halide crystals under hydrostatic pressure up to 12.5 kbar at 4.2–140 K is presented. Main attention is paid to the following effects observed: (1) the strong coupling of three energy levels of FE in CsI revealing itself as an exciton analog of pressure-scanned Fermi resonance; (2) emergence of a new emission band of STE in CsI under pressure; (3) a large pressure shift of the thermal quenching curve for STE emission in NaCl. 相似文献

Radiative lifetime of an exciton in a GaAs quantum well (QW) is controlled by high-density excitons, which restrict the exciton coherence through scattering. In order to circumvent the phase space filling effect of high-density excitons, we have prepared a QW structure in such a way that a reservoir for high-density excitons is separated from the QW. The lifetime increases (up to 30%) with the exciton density in the reservoir and saturates at 1×1017/cm3. The upper bound lifetime is determined by the excitonic relative motion. 相似文献

This paper discusses the influence of chemical composition on the final electromagnetic properties in higher permeability material. Furthermore, the effect of the hot rolling practice and the end of austenite transformation temperature range on the hot band microstructure is described. The magnetic polarization J5000 better than 1.7 T, using hot rolling conditions 40 mm transfer bar thickness, finish mill entry temperature 1000 °C, and finishing temperature 800–840 °C and after decarburization heat treatment and grain growth treatment, was obtained. 相似文献

The sensitivity of the VLEED I–V curves to the shape and the position of the barrier is shown for the image- type surface barriers. For demonstration and
comparison with experimental data the intensities of specularly reflected electron beams from Cu(111) are computed by dynamical
theory of electron diffraction. Image plane position changes and modifications of the saturation shape of the surface barrier
induce pronounced changes in the I–V curves calculated with the image-type barrier.
