Comments on the electronic properties of cyclopropane,cyclobutane, and cyclohexane

Spectral quantities of cyclopropane, cyclobutane, cyclohexane, and of several derivatives, have been calculated by a semiempirical all-valence electron SCF-CI MO method. In cyclopropane, HOMO is practically localized in the carbon-frame, and LVMO is purely so. In cyclobutane, these two MO's are based on C-H bonds, while cyclohexane holds an intermediate position. Despite the overall similarity-experimental and computed-of the spectra of these molecules, assignments are non-parallel. Like cyclopropane, cyclobutane can extend conjugation, but to a diminished degree; cyclohexane behaves in this respect like an acyclic alkane. An interpretation of this gradation, in terms of the nature of high-lying MO's, is proposed.     

Ammonia-treated activated carbon as support of Ru-Ba catalyst for ammonia synthesis

Ammonia-treated activated carbon has been studied as a support of Ru-Ba catalyst for ammonia synthesis. It is shown that the introduction of nitrogen leads to a decrease of ammonia synthesis activity for the catalysts with a low Ba/Ru molar ratio, while no significant changes are obtained for the catalysts with a high Ba/Ru molar ratio, confirming that electronegative impurities suppress the activity in ammonia synthesis and consume part of the promoters. Properties and Characterization of Modified HZSM—5 Zeolites

Physicochemical and catalytic properties of phosphorus and boron modified HZSM-5 zeolites treated with 100% steam at 673K were investigated.The acidity and distribution of acidic sites were studied by infrared spectroscopy using pyridine as probe molecule and temperature programmed desortion (TPD) of ammonia.The structure of the samples was characterized by XRD,and the textural properties of the catalysts were determined by nitrogen isothermal adsorption-desorption measurements and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The XRD results show that the modified samples have no novel crystalline phase,indicating a high dispersion of phosphorus and boron species.After treatment,the microporous volume and surface area of the samples markedly decrease,implying the bolockage of the channel.The nitrogen adsorption-desorption measurements suggest that the isothermal type of all samples is a combination of isothermal type Ⅰ and Ⅳ，and all hysteresis loops resemble the H4-type in the IUPAC classification.The total acidity of the modified samples,determined by pyrldine adsorption IR and TPD of ammonia,decreases in contrast to that of the parent HZSM-5.The conversion of n-heptane over P and B steammodified HZSM-5 is higher than that of P and B-modified HZSM-5 zeolites but lower than that of the parent HZSM-5.     

THF—FER沸石的系列研究—1．晶体结构稳定性

四氢呋喃（THF）-Na2O-SiO2-Al2O3-H2O体系水热合成的THF-FER沸石，经酸交 换-焙烧脱THF（Ⅰ）或焙烧脱THF-酸交换（Ⅱ）的不同方式处理，均可制得低钠H- FER沸石。经XRD，^27Al与^29Si MAS NMR,低温氮吸附等表征证明，通过1273K高温 的热处理和1073K饱和水蒸气下的水热处理，H-FER沸石骨架保持高度稳定。在高温 水蒸气作用下，Si(2Al）容易从骨架上脱离，而Si(1Al）则保持相对稳定，以（Ⅱ ）方法处理，制备的H-FER沸石在水热条件下易产生较多的硅差劲基缺陷。经高温 热和水热处理后，H-FER沸石孔道结构基本保持完美、开放。     

难降解有机废水的催化氧化法处理

催化氧化法可通过多种途径来加强传统的化学法处理效果，目前已成为难降解有机废水处理的一项重要新技术。本文介绍了光催化氧化法、均相氧化法、多相氧化法(包括电催化氧化法)以及超临界水氧化技术的国内外研究现状及特点，并对其在有机废水中的应用情况和发展前景作了扼要评述。     

The Preparation and Characterization of Highly Dispersed PdO over Alumina for Low‐temperature Combustion of Methane

PdO/Al₂O₃ catalysts prepared by glow discharge plasma treatment followed by thermal calcination show a much higher dispersion and a better catalytic activity for methane combustion at relatively low temperatures. The dispersion of palladium active species by such plasma prepared catalysts is 29.7%, 5.4 times higher than that of conventional catalysts. XPS analysis indicates that a surface enrichment of Pd active species (PdO) has been achieved after plasma treatment. The surface atomic composition of PdO of plasma prepared catalysts reaches 10.5%. XRD characterization also confirms a wellcrystallized PdO phase present on the plasma prepared catalyst. The lightoff temperature of the plasma prepared catalyst is 370°C, 50°C lower than that obtained from the conventional catalyst.     

Changes in molecular ordering associated with alkali treatment and vacuum drying of cellulose

Carbon-13 NMR methods were used to monitor changes in the proportions of crystalline and non-crystalline cellulose, and the exposure of chains on crystallite surfaces, in samples of alkali-treated kraft pulp and regenerated cellulose. A large increase in the amount of disorderd cellulose, as a result of conversion to cellulose II, is the major effect of alkali treatment with kraft pulp. Removal of small crystallites is the major effect with regenerated cellulose. Samples were examined never-dried, or were vacuum-dried prior to remoistening for characterization. Changes in molecular ordering consistent with pore collapse and coalescence of crystallite surfaces accompanied the removal of water.     

无机纳米粒子/丁苯胶乳复合技术的研究

研究了无机纳米粒子／丁苯胶乳的复合材料，用脂肪酸对纳米粒子进行了表面改性，使之均匀分散在丁苯胶乳中，用红外、吸油性，润湿试验等方法对改性纳米微粒进行了表征，纸张涂布和老化试验证明，纳米碳酸钙和纳米氧化锌具有优良的隔热效果，纳米氧化锌还有很好的防紫外老化功能，对以纳米TiO2为核，包覆苯丙共聚物的乳液矣合也作了初步研究。     

洋葱状富勒烯的提纯研究

以石墨粉为碳源, Al为催化剂, 采用真空热处理法制备了平均粒径为15～35 nm的洋葱状富勒烯(OLFs).并用CS₂分离和空气氧化法对得到的OLFs初产品进行了提纯处理.高分辨透射电镜(HRTEM)、X射线衍射(XRD)、热重分析(TGA)对提纯前后样品的分析表明, CS₂分离处理可有效去除初产品中裸露的金属催化剂微粒,然后在空气中610 ℃焙烧200 min,可基本去除无定型碳,并大量去除了石墨状碎片等碳杂质, OLFs的纯度在50％(体积分数)以上.
