The Paneitz Curvature Problem on Lower-Dimensional Spheres

In this paper we prescribe a fourth order conformal invariant (the Paneitz curvature) on the n-spheres, with n∊{5,6}. Using dynamical and topological methods involving the study of critical points at infinity of the associated variational problem, we prove some existence results. 十进制展示的误差和函数

研究了十进制误差和函数,利用分形几何的方法,得到了误差和函数的积分值,介值定理以及其图的Hausdorff维数.     

一类用h进制小数表示的无理数

设g、h均是大于1的整数,N=(n_1,n_2,n_3,…)是非负整数的无穷序列,(g~n)n是整数g~n的h进制表示,令a_(ngN)=0.(g~(n_1))n(g~(n_2))n(g~(n_3))n…为由(g~(n_1))n,(g~(n_2))n,(g~(n_3)),…连接而成的h进制小数。文献[1]—[5]分别证明了,当序列N满足一定的条件时,a_(ngN)是个无理数。本文得到了使a(ngN)成为无理数的更广泛的条件。     

The effect of bioindicator preparation and storage on thermal resistance of Bacillus stearothermophilus spores

Paper strips inoculated with spores of Bacillus stearothermophilus ATCC 7953 were conventionally dried (lot 1) and lyophilized (lot 2); stored in defined environments of 32 and 86% relative humidity at 10, 25 and 33°C for 210 d; and submitted to moist heat treatments at 121°C. A significant decrease in thermal resistance from initial starting levels was found for lyophilized bioindicators stored at 86% relative humidity. The respective average D _121°C values were 1.55 ± 0.05 and 1.37 ± 0.10 min for lyophilized bioindicators stored at 32 and 86% relative humidity; and 1.65±0.15min and 1.57 ± 0.11 min for dried bioindicators stored in the same environments.

一类非线性系统的时滞相关H∞控制

本文研究一类非线性控制系统的时滞相关日。控制问题．首先通过构造恰当的Lyapunov泛函,设计非线性H∞控制器,得到了该类非线性控制系统渐近稳定的一个充分条件．其次通过建立具有线性矩阵不等式（LMI）约束的凸优化问题,得到了该类非线性系统的时滞相关H∞性能的一个充分条件．MATLAB仿真验证了本文方法的可行性．     

Fundamentals on Infinite-Domain Interpolations

The unified theory in infinite elementology is presented in one to three dimensions so that developed infinite elements are C° conformably connected with the isoparametric finite elements. It is further shown that the infinity mapping technology is easily incorporated into general finite element codes.     

Necessity of limiting co-state arcs in Bolza-type infinite horizon problem

We investigate necessary conditions of optimality for the Bolza-type infinite horizon problem with free right end. The optimality is understood in the sense of weakly uniformly overtaking optimal control. No previous knowledge in the asymptotic behaviour of trajectories or adjoint variables is necessary. Following Seierstad’s idea, we obtain the necessary boundary condition at infinity in the form of a transversality condition for the maximum principle. Those transversality conditions may be expressed in the integral form through an Aseev–Kryazhimskii-type formulae for co-state arcs. The connection between these formulae and limiting gradients of pay-off function at infinity is identified; several conditions under which it is possible to explicitly specify the co-state arc through those Aseev–Kryazhimskii-type formulae are found. For infinite horizon problem of Bolza type, an example is given to clarify the use of the Aseev–Kryazhimskii formula as an explicit expression of the co-state arc.
