General Construction of Non-Dense Disjoint Iteration Groups on the Circle

Let be a disjoint iteration group on the unit circle , that is a family of homeomorphisms such that F ^v1 ○ F ^v2 = F ^v1+v2 for v ₁, v ₂ ∈ V and each F ^v either is the identity mapping or has no fixed point ((V, +) is a 2-divisible nontrivial Abelian group). Denote by the set of all cluster points of {F ^v (z), v ∈ V} for . In this paper we give a general construction of disjoint iteration groups for which .

单调增加的连续函数的Picard迭代序列的收敛定理

证明了若f:[a,b]→[a,b]为单调增加的连续函数,λ∈(0,1),定义Fλ:[a,b]→[a,b],Fλx=(1-λ)x+λf(x),x1∈[a,b],xn+1=Fλxn=Fλnx1,n≥1,则{xn}单调地收敛于f的1个不动点.     

凸幂凝聚增或减算子的不动点

在由正规锥导出的半序Banach空间中,讨论了凸幂凝聚增或减算子不动点的存在性.对于凸幂凝聚增算子是锥区间自映射的情形,证明了在锥区间中存在最大不动点和最小不动点的结论.对于凸幂凝聚减算子是锥映射的情形,在一定条件下证明了存在唯一正不动点的结论.在这两种情形中,均给出了收敛到不动点的迭代序列.     

关于否定“3n＋1”猜想的一个证明

按照“3n＋l”法则,利用“4m＋3”迭代,提出了一个构建一个无限单调增值序列的方法,从而否定了“3n＋1”猜想。     

On active redundancy allocation for coherent systems—from the viewpoint of minimal cut decomposition

This paper deals with coherent systems with one active redundancy. For systems with the subclass of minimal cuts associated with one component covering that of another, assigning the redundancy to the former component is proved to bring forth a more reliable redundant system. As for symmetric systems with lower tail permutation decreasing component lifetimes, allocating the redundancy to the less reliable component results in a longer system lifetime. Several numerical examples are also presented to illustrate the new findings.     

Fixed point theorems for generalized weakly S-contractive mappings in partial metric spaces

In this paper, we establish some unique xed point theorems for generalized weakly S-contractive with nondecreasing and weakly increasing mappings in complete partial metric space. Also, we give some examples for strengthens of our main results.

讨论了C[I,E]和L_p[I,E]中几类增算子,得到了若干新的不动点定理,并将其应用于证明非线性微分方程唯一解的存在性.     

φ凹(-φ凸)算子不动点定理及其应用

讨论了φ凹(-φ凸)算子,得到了φ凹增(-φ凸减)算子不动点存在唯一性结果,并且给出了收敛到该不动点的迭代序列.该结果去掉了以往文献中的φ→0(t→0~+)这一条件,从而改进和推广了相关结果.作为应用,给出了一类的Sturm-Liouville边值问题的正解的存在唯一性结果.
