Second-order hyperbolic s.p.d.e.'s driven by homogeneous Gaussian noise on a hyperplane

We study a class of hyperbolic stochastic partial differential equations in Euclidean space, that includes the wave equation and the telegraph equation, driven by Gaussian noise concentrated on a hyperplane. The noise is assumed to be white in time but spatially homogeneous within the hyperplane. Two natural notions of solutions are function-valued solutions and random field solutions. For the linear form of the equations, we identify the necessary and sufficient condition on the spectral measure of the spatial covariance for existence of each type of solution, and it turns out that the conditions differ. In spatial dimensions 2 and 3, under the condition for existence of a random field solution to the linear form of the equation, we prove existence and uniqueness of a random field solution to non-linear forms of the equation.

     

Almost automorphic solutions for semilinear boundary differential equations

In this work, we use the extrapolation methods to study the existence and uniqueness of almost automorphic solutions to the semilinear boundary differential equation

where generates a hyperbolic -semigroup on a Banach space and are almost automorphic functions which take values in and a ``boundary space' , respectively. These equations are an abstract formulation of partial differential equations with semilinear terms at the boundary, such as population equations, retarded differential equations and boundary control systems. An application to retarded differential equations is given.

有限变形弹性圆杆中的孤波

在同时引入横向惯性和横向剪切应变的情况下,导出了有限变形弹性圆杆的非线性纵向波动方程,方程中包含了二次和三次的非线性项以及由横向剪切与横向惯性导致的两种几何弥散效应．借助Mathematica软件,利用双曲正割函数的有限展开法,对该方程和对应的截断的非线性方程进行求解,得到了非线性波动方程的孤波解,同时给出了这些解存在的必要条件．     

双曲分布及其在VaR模型分析中的应用

传统的计算V aR的R iskM etrics方法不能对市场风险分布的“厚尾”现象给出较为满意的刻画和计算方法.本文引入双曲分布及其算法并将双曲分布应用到V aR模型的计算之中,事实上通过对股票市场的实证研究表明,股票市场数据呈厚尾现象,用双曲分布对数据的拟合要比R iskM etrics方法假定的正态分布更符合金融市场数据的实际情况,故本文的结论与方法对金融风险管理和其他金融建模是有价值的.

Distortion theorem for Bloch mappings on the unit ball <Emphasis Type="Italic">ℬ</Emphasis><Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">n</Emphasis></Superscript>

In this paper, we obtain a version of subordination lemma for hyperbolic disk relative to hyperbolic geometry on the unit disk D. This subordination lemma yields the distortion theorem for Bloch mappings f ∈ H（B^n） satisfying ｜｜f｜｜0 = 1 and det f＇（0） = α ∈ （0, 1], where｜｜f｜｜0 = sup{（1 - ｜z｜^2 ）n＋1/2n det（f＇（z））[1/n ： z ∈ B^n}. Here we establish the distortion theorem from a unified perspective and generalize some known results. This distortion theorem enables us to obtain a lower bound for the radius of the largest univalent ball in the image of f centered at f（0）. When a = 1, the lower bound reduces to that of Bloch constant found by Liu. When n = 1, our distortion theorem coincides with that of Bonk, Minda and Yanagihara.     

Complete spacelike hypersurfaces with constant mean curvature in anti-de Sitter space

In this paper, we investigate the complete spacelike hypersurfaces with constant mean curvature and two distinct principal curvatures in an anti-de Sitter space. We give a characterization of hyperbolic cylinder and prove the conjecture in a paper by L. F. Cao and G. X. Wei [J. Math. Anal. Appl., 2007, 329(1): 408–414].     

The structure on invariant measures of <Emphasis Type="Italic">C</Emphasis><Superscript>1</Superscript> generic diffeomorphisms

Let Λ be an isolated non-trivial transitive set of a C 1 generic diffeomorphism f ∈ Diff (M ). We show that the space of invariant measures supported on Λ coincides with the space of accumulation measures of time averages on one orbit. Moreover, the set of points having this property is residual in Λ (which implies that the set of irregular+ points is also residual in Λ). As an application, we show that the non-uniform hyperbolicity of irregular+ points in Λ with totally 0 measure (resp., the non-uniform hyperbolicity of a generic subset in Λ) determines the uniform hyperbolicity of Λ.
