从deSitter时空背景下的Klein-Gordon方程出发,利用Brick-wall方法计算了宇宙的自由能和熵。结果表明,宇宙的熵与Schwarzschild黑洞一样,也为视界面积的1/4。可见,brick-wall方法具有更广泛的适用于,不但可以计算黑洞的熵,而且可以计算宇宙的熵。  相似文献

Long range correlation concerning hydrophilicity and flexibility along a number of 80 calcium binding protein sequences is confirmed by using spectral analysis and detrended fluctuations analysis methods, as well as by Hurst exponent calculations. There are no significant differences between the correlation properties concerning these properties for the two structural subfamilies, extended and compact, of the calcium binding proteins and they are also similar with the correlation properties revealed by other investigated proteins. This result sustains the hypothesis that the long range correlation of hydrophilicity and flexibility along the chain is a common feature of proteins.  相似文献

Understanding the cause of the synchronization of population evolution is an important issue for ecological improvement. Here we present a Lotka-Volterra-type model driven by two correlated environmental noises and show, via theoretical analysis and direct simulation, that noise correlation can induce a synchronization of the mutualists. The time series of mutual species exhibit a chaotic-like fluctuation, which is independent of the noise correlation, however, the chaotic fluctuation of mutual species ratio decreases with the noise correlation. A quantitative parameter defined for characterizing chaotic fluctuation provides a good approach to measure when the complete synchronization happens.  相似文献

We investigate the behavior of a two-level quantum system in contact with a classical heat bath, e.g., a solute particle with internal degrees of freedom immersed in a solvent of massive particles. Using a combination of analytical and numerical methods, we obtain precise information about localization, time-displaced correlation functions, and the frequency-dependent susceptibility of such solute particles. We find that these quantities can have a strong dependence on the density of the solvent fluid, with the maximum changes from the behavior of the corresponding isolated quantum system occurring in many cases at very low densities. We compare the exact results with those obtained by path integral Monte Carlo. There is good agreement with the imaginary time correlations, but analytic continuation to real time proves elusive: even with the best numerical data on the former, we can only get very gross features of the latter.  相似文献

We develop a formalism for describing quantum dissipative systems in statistical mechanics based on the quantum Renyi entropy. We derive the quantum Renyi distribution from the principle of maximum quantum Renyi entropy and differentiate this distribution (the temperature density matrix) with respect to the inverse temperature to obtain the Bloch equation. We then use the Feynman path integral with a modified Mensky functional to obtain a Lindblad-type equation. In this paper, we establish the existence of shock solutions for a simplified version of the Othmer–Stevens chemotaxis model (SIAM J. Appl. Math. 1997; 57 :1044–1081). The existence of these shock solutions was suggested by Levine and Sleeman (SIAM J. Appl. Math. 1997; 57 :683–730). Here, we consider the general Riemann problem and derive the shock curves in parameterized forms. By studying the travelling wave solutions, we examine the shock structure for the chemotaxis model and prove that the travelling wave speed is identical to the shock speed. Moreover, we explicitly derive an entropy–entropy flux pair to prove the uniqueness of the weak shock solutions. Some discussion is given for further study.
