Iterative Schemes for Nonconvex Variational Inequalities

In this paper, we suggest and analyze some iterative methods for solving nonconvex variational inequalities using the auxiliary principle technique, the convergence of which requires either only pseudomonotonicity or partially relaxed strong monotonicity. Our proofs of convergence are very simple. As special cases, we obtain earlier results for solving general variational inequalities involving convex sets.     

Separating the solution sets of analytical and polynomial systems

A linear inequality system with infinitely many constraints is polynomial (analytical) if its index set is a compact interval of the real line and all its coefficients are polynomial (analytical, respectively) functions of the index on this interval. This paper provides an example of analytical system whose solution set cannot be the solution set of any polynomial system. A strong law of large numbers for generalized random sets from the viewpoint of empirical processes

In this article we prove a strong law of large numbers for Borel measurable nonseparably valued random elements in the case of generalized random sets.

煤与瓦斯突出预报的模糊聚类关联分析法

首先采用模糊聚类分析对煤与瓦斯突出的样本集合进行分类，建立不同突出程度的模糊模式。然后用关联分析确定待预报样本与模式的关联程度，以此预测预报样本的煤与瓦斯突出危险程度。这种预报方法相对于模糊聚类分类后，将模式与待预报样本组成新的样本集合，再进行聚类分析，以此分类结果进行预报法。不仅可靠程度高，而且能定量描述待报样本与模式的亲和程度。     

The Equivalence of Several Basic Theorems for Subdifferentials

Several different basic tools are used for studying subdifferentials. They are a nonlocal fuzzy sum rule in (Borwein et al., 1996; Zhu, 1996), a multidirectional mean value theorem in (Clarke and Ledyaev, 1994; Clarke et al., 1998), local fuzzy sum rules in (Ioffe, 1984, 1990) and an extremal principle in (Kruger and Mordukhovich, 1980; Mordukhovich, 1976, 1980, 1994). We show that all these basic results are equivalent and discuss some interesting consequences of this equivalence.     

Continuous Selectors of Fixed Point Sets of Multifunctions with Decomposable Values

Existence theorems of continuous selectors whose values are fixed points of multivalued contractions are proved. As an application, the existence of continuous selectors to generalized solution sets of partial differential inclusions, depending on a parameter, is obtained.
