We present a fully general, three dimensional, constitutive model for Shape Memory Alloys (SMAs), aimed at describing all of the salient features of SMA evolutionary response under complex thermomechanical loading conditions. In this, we utilize the mathematical formulation we have constructed, along with a single set of the model’s material parameters, to demonstrate the capturing of numerous responses that are experimentally observed in the available SMA literature. This includes uniaxial, multi-axial, proportional, non-proportional, monotonic, cyclic, as well as other complex thermomechanical loading conditions, in conjunction with a wide range of temperature variations. The success of the presented model is mainly attributed to the following two main factors. First, we use multiple inelastic mechanisms to organize the exchange between the energy stored and energy dissipated during the deformation history. Second, we adhere strictly to the well established mathematical and thermodynamical requirements of convexity, associativity, normality, etc. in formulating the evolution equations governing the model behavior, written in terms of the generalized internal stress/strain tensorial variables associated with the individual inelastic mechanisms. This has led to two important advantages: (a) it directly enabled us to obtain the limiting/critical transformation surfaces in the spaces of both stress and strain, as importantly required in capturing SMA behavior; (b) as a byproduct, this also led, naturally, to the exhibition of the apparent deviation from normality, when the transformation strain rate vectors are plotted together with the surfaces in the space of external/global stresses, that has been demonstrated in some recent multi-axial, non-proportional experiments.  相似文献

Let D(G)=(di,j)n×n denote the distance matrix of a connected graph G with order n, where dij is equal to the distance between vi and vj in G. The largest eigenvalue of D(G) is called the distance spectral radius of graph G, denoted by ?(G). In this paper, we give some graft transformations that decrease and increase ?(G) and prove that the graph (obtained from the star Sn on n (n is not equal to 4, 5) vertices by adding an edge connecting two pendent vertices) has minimal distance spectral radius among unicyclic graphs on n vertices; while (obtained from a triangle K3 by attaching pendent path Pn−3 to one of its vertices) has maximal distance spectral radius among unicyclic graphs on n vertices.  相似文献

The modified Volterra lattice equation with nonholonomic constrain has been considered in this paper. The integrability of the deformed model has been demonstrated by providing a Lax pair. Applying the gauge transformation to the Lax pair, we establish Darboux transformation theorem for the nonholonomic deformation equation. Some analytic solutions of the system are obtained via the one-fold and two-fold Darboux transformations. The deformation on explicit solutions exhibits different curvy profiles and propagation trajectories that were not found in modified Volterra lattice equation.  相似文献

针对现有最终执行元件功能安全失效分析方法未能切实考虑实际工况的不足,提出了一种基于马氏距离的最终执行元件功能安全失效表征方法。预先获取各状态下最终执行元件的工况参数,构建样本空间,计算其中各样本的马氏距离;其次对马氏距离进行Box-Cox变换,使其满足正态分布后,由3σ准则确定各状态的阈值,构建最终执行元件的失效表征模型;最后利用所设计的检测系统检测工况参数,构建样本向量,通过所构建的失效表征模型实现最终执行元件功能安全失效表征。仿真实验和现场实验结果表明,本文方法能够准确识别出最终执行元件的功能安全失效,为其失效分析提供了一种新的方法。  相似文献

It is well-known that the surface quality of the niobium microalloy profiled billet directly affects the comprehensive mechanical properties of the H-beam. The effects of chromium on the γ/α phase transformation and high-temperature mechanical properties of Nb-microalloyed steel were studied by Gleeble tensile and high-temperature in-situ observation experiments. Results indicated that the starting temperature of the γ→α phase transformation decreases with increasing Cr content. The hot ductility of Nb-microalloyed steel is improved by adding 0.12wt% Cr. Chromium atoms inhibit the diffusion of carbon atoms, which reduces the thickness of grain boundary ferrite. The number fractions of high-angle grain boundaries increase with increasing chromium content. In particular, the proportion is up to 48.7% when the Cr content is 0.12wt%. The high-angle grain boundaries hinder the crack propagation and improve the ductility of Nb-microalloyed steel.  相似文献

Dinatural transformations, which generalise the ubiquitous natural transformations to the case where the domain and codomain functors are of mixed variance, fail to compose in general; this has been known since they were discovered by Dubuc and Street in 1970. Many ad hoc solutions to this remarkable shortcoming have been found, but a general theory of compositionality was missing until Petri?, in 2003, introduced the concept of g-dinatural transformations, that is, dinatural transformations together with an appropriate graph: he showed how acyclicity of the composite graph of two arbitrary dinatural transformations is a sufficient and essentially necessary condition for the composite transformation to be in turn dinatural. Here we propose an alternative, semantic rather than syntactic, proof of Petri?'s theorem, which the authors independently rediscovered with no knowledge of its prior existence; we then use it to define a generalised functor category, whose objects are functors of mixed variance in many variables, and whose morphisms are transformations that happen to be dinatural only in some of their variables.We also define a notion of horizontal composition for dinatural transformations, extending the well-known version for natural transformations, and prove it is associative and unitary. Horizontal composition embodies substitution of functors into transformations and vice-versa, and is intuitively reflected from the string-diagram point of view by substitution of graphs into graphs.This work represents the first, fundamental steps towards a substitution calculus for dinatural transformations as sought originally by Kelly, with the intention then to apply it to describe coherence problems abstractly. There are still fundamental difficulties that are yet to be overcome in order to achieve such a calculus, and these will be the subject of future work; however, our contribution places us well in track on the path traced by Kelly towards a calculus of substitution for dinatural transformations.  相似文献

The octonion is a generalization of complex to noncommutative and nonassociative space which has closed relation with exception geometries, wave equation, Yang‐Mills equations, black hole, string theory, and special relativity. In this paper, the Möbius transformation in this manner is first introduced, and some properties are discussed about the transformation in octonionic analysis. Some technique lemmas will be given to solve the problems caused by the weak form of associativity. These versions of Schwarz lemma and Schwarz‐Pick lemma are first studied in octonionic setting which will invoke integral representation formula for harmonic function and Möbius transformations. This will generalize the corresponding results which appear in the classical function theory to nonassociative space and may give new energy for the development of physics.  相似文献
