论幽默文本翻译的障碍及策略

幽默文本的翻译不仅涉及到语言的转化，更涉及到文化的交流。汉英文字结构、语义系统及文化背景的多重差异构成幽默翻译的障碍。而归化、功能翻译等策略在幽默翻译中的具体运用能大大提高幽默的可译度，是对幽默文本的有效补偿。     

Bounded rational expectations and the stability of interest rate policy

The New Keynesian model has recently been subject to two serious criticisms: the model cannot produce plausible inflation and output dynamics following a monetary shock, and the stability of its dynamics suffers from indeterminacy. The procedures that have been proposed to eliminate these two shortcomings fall into two categories: the introduction of some sort of backward price indexation into the standard model and/or other forms of stickiness (like sticky information); and the adoption of some form of policy rule that completely offsets the effects of forward looking dynamics in the optimization process. In this paper we do not eradicate forward looking behavior from the dynamics of the New Keynesian model, neither do we impose some form of backward price indexation. We assume that private economic agents have forward looking behavior and that they do try to optimize with all available information; the only novelty is that they are allowed to make small mistakes near the rational expectations equilibrium, in a fully deterministic setup. These “near rational” or “bounded rational” expectations show that the dynamics of the model with active interest rate rules is much richer than the simple problem of local indeterminacy as is usually found in the literature.

We obtain exact lower bounds of the upper limits of ratios of the Nevanlinna characteristics of a delta-subharmonic function in the upper half-plane.     

A High-Performance Extraction Method for Public Opinion on Internet

Aiming at the importance of the analysis for public opinion on Internet, the authors propose a high-performance extraction method for public opinion. In this method, the space model for classification is adopted to describe the relationship between words and categories. The combined feature selection method is used to remove noisy words from the original feature space effectively. Then the category weight of words is calculated by the improved formula combining the frequency of words and distribution of words. Finally, the class weights of the not-categorized documents based on the category weight of words are obtained for realizing opinion extraction. Experiment results show that the method has comparatively high classification and good stability.

The excitation energies and term energies of the excited states 1s2ns (n=3,4,5) and 1s2nf (n=4,5) of lithium-like systems of Z=11－20

In this paper, the full-core plus correlation (FCPC) and the Ritz method is extended to calculate the non-relativistic energies of 1s^2ns (n=3,4,5) and 1s^2nf (n=4,5) states and the wavefunctions of the lithium-like systems from Z=11－20. The mass-polarization and the relativistic correction including the kinetic-energy correction, the Darwin term, the electron－electron contact term, and the orbit－orbit interaction are evaluated perturbatively as the first-order correction. The contribution from quantum electrodynamic is also included by using the effective nuclear charge formula. The excited energies, the term-energy and fine structure, are given and compared with the other theoretical calculation and experimental results. It is shown that the correlative wave in the FCPC method embodies well the strong correlation between the 1s^2 core and the valence electron.

Multiplicity of metastable retrieval phases in networks of multistate neurons

It is demonstrated that networks of multistate neurons storing an ensemble of multistate patterns exhibit a multiplicity of metastable retrieval phases. These phases are described by solutions of fixed-point equations with characteristic retrieval errors. They emerge if the gain of the neural input-output relation is varied. The number of these phases increases asQ ² with the numberQ of gray levels available to each neuron. Implications for the optimal gain function and basins of attraction are briefly discussed. Again, networks endowed with pseudoinverse couplings are found to perform better than networks with Hebbian couplings: at moderate loading levels phases with retrieval errors are destabilized, whereas the error-free phase remains stable up to the theoretically possible maximum, if the gain parameter is properly chosen.
