The structure of fullerene films and their metallocene doping

Hexagonal close-packed (HCP) C₆₀ and C₇₀ films have been prepared by the Langmuir method and examined by electron microscopy and electron-diffraction analysis. It has been shown that the vacuum deposition of a C₆₀+C₇₀ mixture results in the formation of a film with small sized grains and a distorted C₆₀-HCP structure. The simultaneous deposition of C₆₀ and ferrocene results in the formation of a film with a changed morphology and an electron-diffraction pattern that contains a variable amount of ferrocene depending on the experimental conditions. The electron-diffraction pattern corresponds to the presence of the known molecular complex C₆₀[(C₅H₅)₂Fe]₂. The analogous simultaneous deposition of fullerene C₆₀ and cobaltocene results in the formation of a C₆₀ film stable in air and water, which contains carbon and cobalt (from the data of X-ray fluorescence, electron microscopy and microdiffraction). It has a different morphology and different diffraction patterns than pure C₆₀ films and, depending on the cobaltocene content (relative to that of fullerene), appears to be a fullerite film doped with various amounts of cobaltocenium fullende, which is an ionic compound.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. Transfer activity coefficient of the proton in water-pyridine mixtures. A comparison of some extrathermodynamic assumptions

Various water-pyridine mixtures have been selected in order to compare several of the most popular extrathermodynamic assumptions involved in the determination of the transfer activity coefficient of the proton, _t(H⁺). Two techniques have been utilized for this purpose: voltammetry [study of the ferrocene, ferricyanide, or thallium(1) systems] and potentiometry at equilibrium (emf measurements of various galvanic cells, including liquid junctions and hydrogen electrode or silver electrode as a test electrode). The assumptions have been classified into various groups [e.g., _t(Z^p+)=_t(Z^q+) or _t(X^–)=_t(Y⁺)], and the values of _t(H⁺) have been experimentally determined in each case. The results vary depending upon the basic assumption (several pH units); less important differences (e.g., 0.5 pH unit) occur within a given group, and this may be assigned to the nature of the reference species chosen. A simple model of solvation has been also examined; the application of the law of mass action to the corresponding equilibrium provides results close to the _t(X^–) =_t(Y⁺)type of assumptions which ultimately leads to most self-consistent results.

通过甲酰基二茂铁与相应芳酰基肼的缩合反应合成了二茂铁基的苯甲酰基、对-甲氧基苯甲酰基和间-硝基苯甲酰基腙,并制备了它们与Co(Ⅱ)、Ni(Ⅱ)、Cu(Ⅱ)和Mn(Ⅱ)醋酸盐的十种整合物。元素分析、IR和PMR谱的测定结果表明,这些金属有机配体是以烯醇式进行配位的。

Synthesis and property of soluble poly(1,1′-dialkyl-3,3′-ferrocenylenevinylene)s via titanium-induced dicarbonyl-coupling reaction of 1,1′-dialkylferrocene-3,3′-dicarbaldehydes

1,1′-Dialkylferrocene-3,3′-dicarbaldehydes ( 1a–c ) with long alkyl chains such as ethyl, hexyl, and dodecyl groups were prepared in 13–25% yield via three-step reactions. The titanium-induced dicarbonyl-coupling reaction of 1a–c gave poly(1,1′-dialkyl-3,3′-ferrocenylenevi-nylene)s ( 2a–c ) in quantitative yields, which were the molecular weights of 3000–10,000 and highly soluble in chloroform, benzene, and hexane. The electrical conductivity and the third-order nonlinear optical susceptibility for poly(1,1′-dihexyl-3,3′-ferrocenylenevinylene) ( 2b ) were estimated to be 1 × 10^?2 S/cm on doping with iodine and 1–4 × 10^?12 esu at a wavelength of 1–2.4 μm, respectively. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.     

单取代二茂铁西佛碱型液晶化合物的合成及介晶性研究

报道了两个系列二茂铁衍生物，FcC_6H_4N＝CHC_6H_4OC_nH_(2n+1)（系列I） 和FcC_6H_4N＝CHC_6H_4O_2CC_6H_4OC_nH_(2n+1)（系列II）（Fc:ferrocenyl；n = 2，4，6，8，10，12，14，16），并通过DSC和热台偏光显微镜对其介晶性进行 了研究。系列I不具有介晶性，系列II呈较窄的液晶温度范围。其结果显示分子的 刚性部分长度对介晶性有重要影响。     

Modification of the Cp′ ring in the ferrocifen precursor and its influence on the recognition by the estrogen receptor

A synthetic pathway giving access to diphenyl ethylene organometallic derivatives possessing the ferrocifen precursor skeleton modified in the Cp′ ring is described. It relies on reaction of the (η⁵-propionylcyclopentadienyl) (η⁶-benzene)iron(II) salt 7 with substituted cyclopentadienyl anions or their heteroanalogs followed by the McMurry coupling reaction with 4,4′-dihydroxybenzophenone. Using this approach pentamethylcyclopentadienyl and 3,4-dimethylphospholyl analogs of ferrocifen precursor (10 and 11) have been synthesized. Even with the presence of the bulky and containing phosphorus η⁵-ligands these compounds are still recognized by the two subtypes of estrogen receptor(ERα and ERβ).     

过氧化物模拟酶生物传感器—二茂铁衍生物为介体

本文用三种二茂铁衍生物－双羟基乙基二茂铁、单羟基乙基二茂铁和羧基二茂铁为介体，在过氧化物模拟酶－ｍｅｓｏ－四（４－磺基苯）卟啉锰存在下，检测过氧化氢，以双羟基，单羟基乙基二茂铁为介体时，获得了良好的结果。
