Numerical Soliton and Oscillating Wave Solutions for Flierl-Petviashvili Equation in Plasmas

Numerical axisymmetric soliton and oscillating wave solutions for the Flierl-Petviashvili equation in plasmas are presented. Solution branch paradigm and examples are given. Some implications of results to ion drift wave as well as force-free field of magnetic equilibrium are briefly discussed.     

OPTIMAL INSTAR PARASITIZATION IN A STAGE STRUCTURED HOST-PARASITOID MODEL

A stage structured host-parasitoid model is derived and the equilibria studied. It is shown under what conditions the parasitoid controls an exponentially growing host in the sense that a coexistence equilibrium exists. Furthermore, for host populations whose inherent growth rate is not too large it is proved that in order to minimize the adult host equilibrium level it is necessary that the parasitoids attack only one of the larval stages. It is also proved in this case that the minimum adult host equilibrium level is attained when the parasitoids attack that larval stage which also maximizes the expected number of emerging adult parasitoid per larva at equilibrium. Numerical simulations tentatively indicate that the first conclusion remains in general valid for the model. However, numerical studies also show that it is not true in general that the optimal strategy will maximize the number of emerging adult parasitoid per larva at equilibrium.

Ab initio predictions of zeolite structures and Si NMR chemical shifts

A recent shell-model potential parameterized on ab initio data is used for predicting the all-silica structures of zeolites MFI, MEI, MTW, TON, FAU and of α-quartz. Cluster models are defined around each site and the ²⁹Si NMR shielding constants are calculated by ab initio techniques (GIAO-HF). Good agreement with observed ²⁹Si NMR chemical shifts is found. Comparison is made with shifts calculated for observed structures. The structures predicted by the ab initio shell-model potential prove as accurate as the observed ones when judged on the quality of the calculated ²⁹Si NMR spectra.

本文主要论证了在不完全市场条件下带风险指数的金融均衡的存在性，并揭示其均衡结构的特征．本文中建立的模型是一、二期货币投入产出金融经济且具有可微的资产结构，这一模型包括了许多具有特殊资产结构的均衡模型，如实资产结构、虚资产结构、恒秩资产结构的均衡模型．因此本文的这一模型具有广泛的应用前景和实用价值．接着给出了本文的金融均衡的存在性定理，再借助微分拓扑给出它的证明过程，这一证明过程较之以前证明均衡存在性的经典方法（如Duffie，D＆W．Shfer（1985）的方法）要简便得多．同时也应注意到本文的这一结论既适用于资产市场下会随机风险因素的情形，也适用于商品空间为无限维的情形，除此之外，还给出了怎样判别资产结构是否属于T类的判别法，为检验均衡存在性提供了更为便利的途径．最后，本文论证了在金融市场里，尽管由于稀缺性的存在，从而导致均衡分配的多样化，然而均衡分配集却形成了一光滑子流，但该流形的维数与稀缺性有关．换句话说，尽管市场是不完全的，但均市分配不确定性的反却是可比的．如此使得人们对均衡资产结构的认识更进一步．

用失调叠加积分的方法 ,对厄米双曲余弦高斯光束的瞄准稳定性作了研究 ,得到了厄米双曲余弦高斯光束失调因子 ηm2 的精确解析公式和近似解析公式 ,并用数值计算了相对横向偏移和相对角向偏移对失调因子ηm2 的影响以及对精确解析公式和近似解析公式的适用范围作了分析和说明。     

Band bending at the Si(1 1 1)–SiO2 interface induced by low-energy ion bombardment

Experiments employing photoreflectance spectroscopy have uncovered band bending due to electrically active defects at the Si(1 1 1)–SiO₂ interface after sub-keV Ar⁺ ion bombardment. The band bending of about 0.5 eV resembles that for Si(1 0 0)–SiO₂, and both interfaces exhibit two kinetic regimes for the evolution of band bending upon annealing due to defects healing. The healing takes place about an order of magnitude more quickly at the (1 1 1) interface, however, probably because of less fully saturated bonding and higher compressive stress.
