The protolytic equilibria of piperazine (C4H10N2) and phosphate have been investigated in the presence of cobalt or nickel chloride or nitrate by potentiometric titrations between pH 2 and 8. Potentiometric titrations suggest the presence of [M2+(H2O)5(C4H11N2+)]3+ and [M2+(H2O)5(C4H10N2)]2+ in solution with stability constants logK of 3.1 and 3.8 for M = Co and 3.1 and 3.6 for M = Ni, respectively. Crystallization experiments were then conducted at selected pH values to isolate desired species from the known solution composition. Crystallization afforded [M(H2O)6]2+(C4H12N22+)(HPO42—)2 at pH 3.5 and 6.2 (M = Co, Ni), and Co3(PO4)2·8H2O at pH 10.5. No crystals with the dihydrogenphosphate anion or a metal‐bound piperazine ligand could be isolated under the reaction conditions. The solid‐state assembly in the isomorphous structures of [M(H2O)6](C4H12N2)(HPO4)2 with M = Co and Ni is based on an extended hydrogen bonded network between the three ionic building blocks.  相似文献

The nature of intermolecular interactions between dicoordinate Cu(I) ions is analyzed by means of combined theoretical and structural database studies. Energetically stable Cu(I).Cu(I) interactions are only found when the two monomers involved in the interaction are neutral or carry opposite charges, thus allowing us to speak of bonding between the components of the bimolecular aggregate. A perturbative evaluation of the components of the intermolecular interaction energies, by means the IMPT scheme of Stone, indicates that both the Coulombic and dispersion forces are important in determining the Cu(I).Cu(I) bonding interactions, because only a small part of that energy is attributable to Cu.Cu interactions, while a large component results from Cu.ligand interactions. The electrostatic component is the dominant one by far in the interaction between charged monomers, while in the interaction between neutral complexes, the electrostatic component is found to be of the same order of magnitude as the dispersion term. Bimolecular aggregates that have like charges are repulsive by themselves, and their presence in the solid state results from anion.cation interactions with ions external to this aggregate. In these cases, the short-contact Cu.Cu interactions here should be more properly called counterion-mediated Cu.Cu bonds.  相似文献

Scaffold based tissue engineering strategies use cells, biomolecules and a scaffold to promote the repair and regeneration of tissues. Although scaffold-based tissue engineering approaches are being actively developed, most are still experimental, and it is not yet clear what defines an ideal scaffold/cell construct. Solid free form fabrication (SFF) techniques can precisely control matrix architecture (size, shape, interconnectivity, branching, geometry and orientation). The SFF methods enable the fabrication of scaffolds with various designs and material compositions, thus providing a control of mechanical properties, biological effects and degradation kinetics. This paper reviews the application of micro-robotics and MEMS-based fabrication techniques for scaffold design and fabrication. It also presents a novel robotic technique to fabricate scaffold/cell constructs for tissue engineering by the assembly of microscopic building blocks.  相似文献

The effect of ammonium nitrate concentration in the citric acid biosynthesis by Aspergillus niger NC-12 in single-stage continuous cultures with biomass retention was investigated. Experiments were carried out in a BIOMER laboratory fermenter with 5 dm3 working volume. At the initial stage of each cultivation, the substrate in the bioreactor contained 1.5 g NH4NO3 dm−3. After 120 h onwards, the bioreactor was fed continuously at a constant dilution rate of 0.009 h−1. NH4NO3 concentration in the feed was varied from one culture to another, ranging between 0.5 g dm−3 and 2.5 g dm−3. Promising results were obtained when NH4NO3 concentration of 1.5 g dm−3 was used. The observed concentration of citric acid (c P) and yield of citric acid with respect to the introduced sucrose (Y P/S) were 117.88 g dm−3 and 78.59 %, respectively. The efficiency coefficient of citric acid biosynthesis (K ef) was very high, amounting to 83.38. The morphologically undifferentiated cells of nonregenerant callous tissue of Cereus peruvianus cultured in the original medium and in medium supplemented with tyrosine were used as an alkaloid source. Comparison of alkaloid production by C. peruvianus plants and by callous tissues indicated that alkaloid levels were almost twice as high in callous tissues as in shoots of C. peruvianus plants. The ratio of alkaloid concentration between mature plant and morphologically und ifferentiated cells of callous tissue was 1∶1.7. A relationship between culture medium containing tyrosine and alkaloid production was also observed in the callous tissues of C. peruvianus. Since increased alkaloid production may be induced by additional factors such as tyrosine, increasing levels of tyrosine or other conditions of the culture medium may be considered factors for inducing higher alkaloid production by C. peruvianus callous tissues.  相似文献

构建微生物细胞工厂是化学品、生物能源以及药物分子可持续生产的可行性策略。然而,微生物的代谢复杂、调控严谨,制约着目标产物高效合成。蛋白质组学和代谢组学可以从系统生物学角度分析酶和代谢物组分,从而理解复杂的生物系统,为微生物代谢工程改造提供重要线索。该文介绍了蛋白质组学和代谢组学在微生物代谢工程中的应用,包括基因组尺度代谢模型构建、菌株生物合成优化、指导菌株耐受性改造、限速步骤预测、植物次级代谢途径挖掘,从而为微生物合成天然产物提供新的基因或途径。在此基础上,该文还展望了生物大数据未来的发展方向。  相似文献

Photochromic performance of diarylethene single crystals was controlled by crystal engineering using non-covalent aromatic-aromatic interactions as the directional intermolecular force. A diarylethene derivative with two pentafluorophenyl groups, 1,2-bis(2-methyl-5-pentafluorophenyl-3-thienyl)perfluorocyclopentene (1a), formed stoichiometric co-crystals with benzene (Bz) and naphthalene (Np) by aryl-perfluoroaryl interactions. Face-to-face pi-stacking interactions between the pentafluorophenyl groups of 1a and the aromatic molecules are responsible for 2:1 and 1:1 stoichiometric compositions in 1a/Bz and 1a/Np co-crystals, respectively. The diarylethene underwent thermally stable and photoreversible photochromic reactions in a homo-crystal of 1a and co-crystals 1a/Bz and 1a/Np. The absorption spectra of the photogenerated closed-ring isomers varied depending on the conformation of the diarylethene molecules packed in the crystals. The diarylethene 1a also formed 1:1 stoichiometric co-crystals with different kinds of diarylethenes, 1,2-bis(2-ethyl-5-phenyl-3-thienyl)perfluorocyclopentene (2a) and 1,2-bis[2-methyl-5-(1-naphthyl)-3-thienyl]perfluorocyclopentene (3a). Both co-crystals 1a/2a and 1a/3a showed photochromism. Although 1a, 2a, and 3a underwent efficient photocyclization reactions in their homo-crystals, highly selective photocyclization reactions of 2a or 3a were observed in the co-crystals. The selective reactions were confirmed by HPLC and X-ray crystallography. Excited energy transfers from 1a to 2a and from 1a to 3a are considered to occur and cause the selective reactions.  相似文献
