Colossal magnetoresistance manganites: A new approach

Manganites of the LA_1−x Ca _x MnO₃ family show a variety of new and poorly understood electronic, magnetic and structural effects. Here we outline a new approach recently proposed by us, where we argue that due to strong Jahn-Teller (JT) coupling with phonons the twofold degeneratee _g states at the Mn sites dynamically reorganize themselves into localised, JT polaronsl with exponentially small inter-site hopping, and band-like, nonpolaronic statesb, leading to anew 2-band model for manganites which includes strong Coulomb and Hund’s couplings. We also discuss some results from a dynamical mean-field theory treatment of the model which explains quantitatively a wide variety of experimental results, including insulator-metal transitions and CMR, in terms of the influence of physical conditions on the relative energies and occupation of thel andb states. We argue that this microscopic coexistence of the two types of electronic states, and their relative occupation and spatial correlation is the key to manganite physics. We study spectral convergence of compact Riemannian manifolds or more generally certain Dirichlet spaces, obtaining some compactness results on harmonic functions and harmonic maps. Lemniscates and inequalities for the logarithmic capacities of continua

It is shown that if P(z) = z ⁿ + ? is a polynomial with connected lemniscate E(P) = {z: ¦P(z)¦ ≤ 1} and m critical points, then, for any n? m+1 points on the lemniscate E(P), there exists a continuum γ ? E(P) of logarithmic capacity cap γ ≤ 2^?1/n which contains these points and all zeros and critical points of the polynomial. As corollaries, estimates for continua of minimum capacity containing given points are obtained.

Atomic Electronic Contract Protocol Based on Convertible Signature

A new class of atomicity, namely contract atomicity is presented. A new technical strategy based on convertible signature and two-phase commitment is proposed for implementing atomicity of electronic contract protocol. A new atomic contract signing protocol is given out by using EIGamal like convertible undeniable signature and commitment ofconversion key, and another new atomic contract signing protocol is brought forward by using RSA based convertible undeniable signature scheme and commitment of conversion key. These two new protocols are proved to be of atomicity, fairness, privacy, non repudiation.     

模糊集合论在矿山控制网布设和图纸质量评定中的应用
