Non-universal critical behaviour of heteronuclear dimers on a square lattice––A Monte Carlo study

Monte Carlo simulation within the grand canonical ensemble, the histogram reweighting technique, and finite size scaling analysis are used to explore the phase behaviour of heteronuclear dimers, composed of A and B type atoms, on a square lattice. We have found that for the models with attractive BB and AB nearest-neighbour energy, u_BB=u_AB=−1, and for non-repulsive energy between AA nearest-neighbour sites, u_AA<0, the system belongs to the universality class of the two-dimensional Ising model. However, when u_AA>0, the system exhibits a non-universal critical behaviour. We have evaluated the dependences of the critical point characteristics on the value of u_AA.     

ON HYPERBOLIC TIME DISCOUNTING IN EXHAUSTIBLE RESOURCE MODELS: AN APPLICATION TO WORLD OIL RESOURCES

ABSTRACT. Recent research on discounting in long term economic models involves hyperbolic discounting, in which the marginal discount rate shrinks as time passes. To investigate hyperbolic discounting and exhaustible resource allocation, this work develops a discrete‐time world oil model and model solution procedure, then uses the model to examine the consequences of adopting conventional (constant annual) discounting when hyperbolic discounting is appropriate, of adopting one hyperbolic discount rate path when a different hyperbolic path is appropriate, and of adopting hyperbolic discounting when conventional discounting is appropriate. Five conventional and two hyperbolic discount rate paths are considered. One hyperbolic path is that used by Nordhaus and Boyer [2000]; the other is that recommended by Weitzman [2001]. The generality of the findings is also assessed.     

Numerical analysis of the spiral Couette flow of a rarefied gas between coaxial cylinders

An implicit quasi-monotone second-order accurate method is proposed for analyzing the spiral Couette flow of a rarefied gas between coaxial cylinders. The basic advantages of the method over the conventional method of stationry iterations are that the former is conservative with respect to the collision integral, has a simple software implementation for any types of boundary conditions, and applies to a wide range of Knudsen numbers.

本文首先将文［１］中的ＢＬＤ映射推广为弱（Ｌ１，Ｌ２）－ＢＬＤ映射，并证明了如下正则性结果：存在两个可积指数 Ｐ１＝Ｐ１（ｎ，Ｌ１，Ｌ２）＜ｎ＜ｑ１＝ｑ１（ｎ，Ｌ１，Ｌ２），使得对任意弱（Ｌ１，Ｌ２）－ＢＬＤ映射ｆ∈（Ω，Ｒｎ），都有ｆ∈（Ω，Ｒｎ），即ｆ为（Ｌ１，Ｌ２）－ＢＬＤ映射．     

Asymptotique de la norme $L^2$ d'un cycle géodésique dans les revêtements de congruence d'une variété hyperbolique arithmétique

Let M be an arithmetic hyperbolic manifold and be a codimension 1 geodesic cycle. In this paper, we study the asymptotic growth of the -norm of the lifts of F in the congruence tower above M. We obtain an explicit value for the growth rate of this norm. In particular, we provide a new proof of a celebrated result of Millson [Mi] on the homology of the arithmetic hyperbolic manifolds. The method is quite general and gives a new way of getting non zero homology classes in certain locally symmetric spaces. Biodegradable/biocompatible ABC triblock copolymer bearing hydroxyl groups in the middle block

New biodegradable/biocompatible ABC block copolymers, poly(ethylene oxide)‐b‐poly(glycidol)‐b‐poly(L ,L ‐lactide) (PEO‐PGly‐PLLA), were synthesized. First, PEO‐b‐poly(1‐ethoxyethylglycidol)‐b‐PLLA was synthesized by a successive anionic ring‐opening copolymerization of ethylene oxide, 1‐ethoxyethylglycidyl ether, and L ,L ‐lactide initiated with potassium 2‐methoxyethanolate. In the second step, the 1‐ethoxyethyl blocking groups of 1‐ethoxyethylglycidyl ether were removed at weakly acidic conditions leaving other blocks intact. The resulting copolymers were composed of hydrophilic and hydrophobic segments joined by short polyglycidol blocks with one hydroxyl group in each monomeric unit. These hydroxyl groups may be used for further copolymer transformations. The PEO‐PGly‐PLLA copolymers with a molecular weight of PLLA blocks below 5000 were water‐soluble. Above the critical micellar concentration (ranging from 0.05 to1.0 g/L, depending on the composition of copolymer), copolymers formed macromolecular micelles with a hydrophobic PLLA core and hydrophilic PEO shell. 贝克曼AllegraTM21R型超高速离心机故障排除一例

贝克曼Allegra^TM 21R型超高速离心机开机后，操作面板上出现错误代码“28”，离心机不旋转。离心机的电机采用无刷感应驱动，由电机驱动电源模块BSMl0GD60DN2驱动离心机的电机。故障是由于电源模块BSMl0GD60DN2损坏引起的。采用东芝三相桥式IGBT电源模块MG25Q6ES42代替BSMl0GD60DN2，并更换已烧毁的栅极电阻后。开机试验，仪器恢复正常。     

[Na(18-C-6)]2[Cu(i-mnt)2]的合成与结构分析

研究了18-冠-6与Na2[Cu(i-mnt)2][i-mnt=异丁二腈烯二硫醇阴离子,S2CC(CN)2-2]的反应,得到的配合物[Na(18-C-6)]2[Cu(i-mnt)2](1)通过元素分析、红外光谱、X射线单晶衍射进行了结构分析.配合物为单斜晶系,空间群P2(1)/c.晶体学结构数据a=1.2819(11),b=1.1793(10),c=1.4928(13)nm,β=99.121(16)°,V=2.228(3)nm3,Z=2,Dcaled.=1.369g/cm3,F(000)=958,R1=0.0521,wR2=0.1003.1中的[Cu(i-mnt)2]基团通过配体i-mnt的氮原子与两个[Na(18-C-6)]基团中的钠原子成键,形成稳定的中性配合物.     

基于GM（1，1）模型的某高校招生人数预测

分析了近年来我国高校招生人数的变化趋势，并利用GM（1，1）模型对某高校2008年的招生人数进行了预测．从而为高校招生人数决策提供了依据。
