The simple silylhydrazines F(3)SiN(Me)NMe(2) (1), F(2)Si(N(Me)NMe(2))(2) (2), and F(3)SiN(SiMe(3))NMe(2) (3) have been prepared by reaction of SiF(4) with LiN(Me)NMe(2) and LiN(SiMe(3))NMe(2), while F(3)SiN(SnMe(3))NMe(2) (4) was prepared from SiF(4) and (Me(3)Sn)(2)NNMe(2) (5). The compounds were characterized by gas-phase IR and multinuclear NMR spectroscopy ((1)H, (13)C, (14/15)N, (19)F, (29)Si, (119)Sn), as well as by mass spectrometry. The crystal structures of compounds 1-5 were determined by X-ray crystallography. The structures of free molecules 1 and 3 were determined by gas-phase electron diffraction. The structures of 1, 2, and 4 were also determined by ab initio calculations at the MP2/6-311+G** level of theory. These structural studies constitute the first experimental proof for the presence of strong Si.N beta-donor-acceptor bonds between the SiF(3) and geminal NMe(2) groups in silylhydrazines. The strength of these non-classical Si.N interactions is strongly dependent on the nature of the substituent at the alpha-nitrogen atom of the SiNN unit, and has the order 3>4>1. The valence angles at these extremely deformed alpha-nitrogen atoms, and the Si.N distances are (crystal/gas): 1 104.2(1)/106.5(4) degrees, 2.438(1)/2.510(6) A; 3 83.6(1)/84.9(4) degrees, 2.102(1)/2.135(9) A; 4 89.6(1) degrees, 2.204(2) A. 相似文献

A new method for the synthesis of azo Schiff an base ligand in which the azo and azomethine groups are coordination sites was developed through a Schiff base precursor. The precursor, N-4-methoxybenzylidene-3-hydroxyphenylamine (SB) derived from 3-aminophenol was regioselectively coupled with a diazonium ion para to the hydroxyl group of the amine component of the Schiff base. The para selectivity was controlled by the directing effect of the hydroxyl group. The ligand and its nickel(Ⅱ) complex were characterized by elemental analyses, IR and UV-Vis spectroscopy. The analytical and spectral data supported the mononuclear formulation of the complex with metal to ligand ratio (M : L = 1 : 2) and suggested a square planar geometry for the complex. 相似文献

Lithium bis(trifluoromethylsulfone)imide (LiTFSI) is a promising electrolyte for high-energy lithium batteries due to its high solubility in most solvents and electrochemical stability. To characterize this electrolyte in solution, its conductance and apparent molar volume and heat capacity were measured over a wide range of concentration in glymes, tetraethylsulfamide (TESA), acetonitrile, -butyrolactone, and propylene carbonate at 25°C and were compared with those of LiClO4 in the same solvents. The glymes or n(ethylene glycol) dimethyl ethers (nEGDME), which have the chemical structure CH3–O–(CH2–CH2–O)
n
–CH3 for n = 1 to 4, are particularly interesting since they are electrochemically stable, have a good redox window, and are analogs of the polyethylene oxides used in polymer-electrolyte batteries. TESA is a good plasticizer for polymer-electrolyte batteries. Whenever required, the following properties of the pure solvents were measured: compressibilities, expansibilities, temperature and pressure dependences of the dielectric constant, acceptor number, and donor number. These data were used in particular to calculate the limiting Debye-Hückel parameters for volumes and heat capacities. The infinite dilution properties of LiTFSI are quite similar to those of other lithium salts. At low concentrations, LiTFSI is strongly associated in the glymes and moderately associated in TESA. At intermediate concentrations, the thermodynamic data suggests that a stable solvate of LiTFSI in EGDME exists in the solution state. At high concentrations, the thermodynamic properties of the two lithium salts approach those of the molten salts. These salts have a reasonably high specific conductivity in most of the solvents. This suggests that the conductance of ions at high concentration in solvents of low dielectric constant is due to a charge transfer process rather than to the migration of free ions. 相似文献

This article is a critical analysis of kinetic dataavailable on carbocationic polymerizations. A survey of published propagation rate constant (kp) data revealed several orders of magnitude differences. In this article, an explanation of this apparent discrepancy is offered with a case study involving the carbocationic polymerization of 2,4,6‐trimethylstyrene (TMS). With the polymerization mechanism originally proposed for this system, kp = 1.35 × 104 L mol?1 s?1 was extracted from experimental data with the Predici polyreaction package. The alternative mechanism yielded kp = 1.01 × 107 L mol?1 s?1, close to that predicted by Mayr's Linear Free Energy Relationship (LFER). We propose that true rate constants can only be obtained from direct competition experiments or from kinetic interpretation based on independently proven mechanisms. The second part of this review discusses critical analysis of the temperature and concentration dependence of various living IB systems. Comparison of the temperature dependence in systems initiated with 2‐ chloro‐2,4, 4‐ trimethylpentane (TMPCl)/TiCl4 from various laboratories yielded of ΔH ~?25 and ?34.5 kJ/mol for high and low TMPCl/TiCl4 ratios, respectively. Aromatic (cumyl‐type) initiators show ΔH ~ ?40 kJ/mol, whereas H2O/TiCl4 in the presence of the strong electron‐ pair donor dimethylacetamide gave ΔH = ?12 kJ/mol. The aim of this research was to investigate new bulky electron donors (EDs) generating hindered active species in the cationic polymerization of 1,3-pentadiene initiated by AlCl3 in pentane, in order to avoid or strongly reduce the reaction between the active species and the double bonds of the polymer which are responsible for side reactions. At room temperature, the polymerization in the presence of new ED, such as OPh2, N(PhBr)3, NPh3 and SPh2, allowed to obtain higher conversions and lower insoluble fractions than without electron donor. The formation of a complex ED/AlCl3 was shown for each electron donor. However, in the case of NPh3 and SPh2, variations of the polymer microstructure demonstrated an interaction between active species and these EDs. Similar results were obtained at lower temperature (−10 °C). The beneficial effect of the presence of electron donors such as NPh3 and SPh2 demonstrated the validity of the concept of sterically hindered active species, but the polymerization was still uncontrolled. 相似文献

YBa2Cu3-xVxO7-y(x=0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5 and 0.6) superconductors have been prepared. X-ray diffraction shows that the system remains orthorhombic for all compositions studied, but for x > 0.4 V2O5 was detected as an impurity phase. Substitution of V5+ for Cu2+ occurs in the Cu(2) sites on the Cu(2)-O planes. The introduction of the high valence element, vanadium, produces the extra free-electrons. These electrons recombine with the positive carrier of the system. It makes depression of the mobility and the Hall number of YBa2Cu3-xVxO7-v and also results in a depression of TC. 相似文献

A novel method was developed for the direct determination of trace quantities of rare earth elements (REEs) in high purity erbium oxide dissolved in nitric acid by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) in this work. The mass spectra overlap interferences arose from Er matrix on the neighbouring and monoisotopic analytes of 165Ho(100) and 169Tm(100) were eliminated by adjusting instrumental peak resolution value from 0.7 to 0.3 amu. The matrix suppression effect of Er on the ion peak signals of REEs impurities was effectively compensated with spiking In as internal standard element. The limit of quantitation (LOQ) of REEs impurities was from 0.0090 to 0.025 μg g−1, the recoveries of spiked sample for REEs were found to be in the range of 90.3-107% through using the proposed method and relative standard deviation (R.S.D.) varied between 2.5% and 6.7%. The novel methodology had been found to be suitable for the direct determination of trace REEs impurities in 99.999-99.9999% high purity Er2O3 and the results obtained from this method keep in good agreement with that acquired from high resolution ICP-MS. 相似文献

N-heterocyclic olefins (NHOs), relatives of N-heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs), exhibit high nucleophilicity and soft Lewis basic character. To investigate their π-electron donating ability, NHOs were attached to triarylborane π-acceptors (A) giving donor (D)–π–A compounds 1 – 3 . In addition, an enamine π-donor analogue ( 4 ) was synthesized for comparison. UV–visible absorption studies show a larger red shift for the NHO-containing boranes than for the enamine analogue, a relative of cyclic (alkyl)(amino) carbenes (CAACs). Solvent-dependent emission studies indicate that 1 – 4 have moderate intramolecular charge-transfer (ICT) behavior. Electrochemical investigations reveal that the NHO-containing boranes have extremely low reversible oxidation potentials (e.g., for 3 , =−0.40 V vs. ferrocene/ferrocenium, Fc/Fc+, in THF). Time-dependent (TD) DFT calculations show that the HOMOs of 1 – 3 are much more destabilized than that of the enamine-containing 4 , which confirms the stronger donating ability of NHOs. 相似文献
