Design of a Thin-Film-Based Optical Filter for Broadband Multichannel Communication Systems

This paper is concerned with the design of an optical filter, based on thin-film interference, for multichannel optical communication systems with Ta₂O₅ and MgF₂ materials for 1550 nm operation. The performance of the filter configuration is analyzed and the numerical results of the optimization parameters, such as central wavelength, 3-dB bandwidth, figure of merit and ripple in the passband, are reported. The variation of these parameters is also studied for various modified filter configurations. The angular performance of the filter is investigated in terms of the polarization-dependent loss and spectral shift of transmittance towards shorter wavelengths.     

Phase type approximation for optimal auto-sleep scheduling

This paper addresses the problem of how to determine optimal sleep timing when the computer user should turn the hard disk or the display off in order to save electric power after the computer has not been used. We propose a stochastic model to obtain an optimal sleep timing strategy which minimizes the expected power consumed per unit time in the steady state, where access requirements of the system occur in a renewal process and processing is described by a general service time. Phase type approximation is proposed to represent the expected power consumed per unit time. We investigate the performance of this approximation through a simulation study, and design an optimal auto-sleep schedule for a computer workstation system using real data.

对武器装备的作战效能、寿命周期费用、风险和研制周期的模型进行了研究,提出了综合运用这四维指标作为目标函数的武器总体综合设计的思路和数学模型,可以全面而系统地认识武器装备的发展问题,避免设计中由于只注重提高性能而引起的弊端.     

The Cluster Function of Single-Valued Functions

Given a single-valued function f between topological spaces X and Y, we interpret the cluster set C(f;x) as a multivalued function F=C(f;⋅) associated to f – the cluster function of f. For appropriate metrizable spaces X and Y, we characterize cluster functions C(f;⋅) among arbitrary set-valued functions F and show that every cluster function F=C(f;⋅) admits a selection h of Baire class 2 such that F=C(h;⋅). 热密π介子环境中的ρ介子谱函数

利用描述ρ-π耦合的有效模型, 研究了热密π介子环境中的ρ介子谱函数. 数值计算的结果表明, 随着温度和π介子化学势的升高, 谱函数变宽, 且峰的位置向高不变质量区移动.     

Conjugately dense subgroups of free products of groups with amalgamation

A subgroup having non-empty intersection with each class of conjugate elements of the group is said to be conjugately dense. It is shown that, under certain conditions, the number of conjugately dense subgroups in a free product with amalgamation is not less than some cardinal. As a consequence, P. Neumann’s conjecture in the Kourovka notebook (Question 6.38) is refuted. It is also stated that a modular group and a non-Abelian group of countable or finite rank possess continuum many pairwise non-conjugate conjugately dense subgroups. 光纤拉曼放大器中双重瑞利背向散射噪声的抑制

研究了光纤拉曼放大器中双重瑞利散射噪声的特性，提出了在考虑拉曼光放大作用时，双重量早散射噪声的表达式。给出了在加入隔离器进入抑制后，双重量早散射噪声的计算方法，并进行了模拟分析，得出了旋转隔离器的最佳位置。     

标准序列逻辑系统S3中命题的真度值之集在[0,1]上的分布

利用势为3的均匀概率空间的无穷乘积在三值标准序列逻辑系统中引入了公式的真度概念,给出了真度推理规则,证明了全体公式的真度值之集在[0,1]上是稠密的,并给出了公式真度的表达通式,为进一步建立三值命题逻辑的近似推理理论奠定了基础.     

基于绝缘体上的硅材料的全内反射型阵列波导光栅器件的设计

设计了一种基于绝缘体上的硅材料的全内反射型阵列波导光栅解复用器年。将一全内反射波导镜引入原弯曲的波导列阵中，该波导镜具有偏振补偿的功能和缩小器件尺寸的特点。在器年数值模拟的基础上，制作了原理性器件，并获得了初步的实验结果。
