The solutions to the Riemann problem for a nonsymmetric system of Keyfitz-Kranzer type are constructed explicitly when the initial data are located in the quarter phase plane. In particular, some singular hyperbolic waves are discovered when one of the Riemann initial data is located on the boundary of the quarter phase plane, such as the delta shock wave and some composite waves in which the contact discontinuity coincides with the shock wave or the wave back of rarefaction wave. The double Riemann problem for this system with three piecewise constant states is also considered when the delta shock wave is involved. Furthermore, the global solutions to the double Riemann problem are constructed through studying the interaction between the delta shock wave and the other elementary waves by using the method of characteristics. Some interesting nonlinear phenomena are discovered during the process of constructing solutions; for example, a delta shock wave is decomposed into a delta contact discontinuity and a shock wave.  相似文献

The formation of vacuum state and delta shock wave are observed and studied in the limits of Riemann solutions for the one-dimensional isentropic drift-flux model of compressible two-phase flows by letting the pressure in the mixture momentum equation tend to zero. It is shown that the Riemann solution containing two rarefaction waves and one contact discontinuity turns out to be the solution containing two contact discontinuities with the vacuum state between them in the limiting situation. By comparison, it is also proved rigorously in the sense of distributions that the Riemann solution containing two shock waves and one contact discontinuity converges to a delta shock wave solution under this vanishing pressure limit.  相似文献

The embedded boundary method for solving elliptic and parabolic problems in geometrically complex domains using Cartesian meshes by Johansen and Colella (1998, J. Comput. Phys. 147, 60) has been extended for elliptic and parabolic problems with interior boundaries or interfaces of discontinuities of material properties or solutions. Second order accuracy is achieved in space and time for both stationary and moving interface problems. The method is conservative for elliptic and parabolic problems with fixed interfaces. Based on this method, a front tracking algorithm for the Stefan problem has been developed. The accuracy of the method is measured through comparison with exact solution to a two-dimensional Stefan problem. The algorithm has been used for the study of melting and solidification problems.  相似文献

We introduce a new and efficient numerical method for multicriterion optimal control and single criterion optimal control under integral constraints. The approach is based on extending the state space to include information on a "budget" remaining to satisfy each constraint; the augmented Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman PDE is then solved numerically. The efficiency of our approach hinges on the causality in that PDE, i.e., the monotonicity of characteristic curves in one of the newly added dimensions. A semi-Lagrangian "marching" method is used to approximate the discontinuous viscosity solution efficiently. We compare this to a recently introduced "weighted sum" based algorithm for the same problem [25]. We illustrate our method using examples from flight path planning and robotic navigation in the presence of friendly and adversarial observers.  相似文献

Simultaneous measurements of temperature, CH* and OH* chemiluminescent species are carried out to explore the impact of stretch rate and curvature on the structure of premixed flames. The configuration of an initially flat premixed flame interacting with a toroidal vortex is selected for the present study and reasons for this choice are discussed. Lewis number effects are assessed by comparing methane and propane flames. It is emphasized that the flame structure experiences very strong variations. In particular, the flame is shrunk (broadened) in the initial (final) period of the interaction with the vortex where strain rate (curvature) contribution of the stretch rate is predominant. By further analysing independently the thickness of the preheat and reaction zones, it is shown that for propane flames, not only the former but also the latter is significantly altered in zones where the flame curvature is negative. Changes in the reaction zone properties are further emphasized using CH* and OH* radicals. It is demonstrated that higher thermal diffusivity plays a significant role around curved regions, in which the enhanced diffusion of heat leads to a strong increase of CH* compared to OH* intensity. As an overall conclusion, this study suggests that it would be interesting to reassess the internal flame structure at lower and moderate Karlovitz numbers since changes might appear for a moderate vortex intensity with typical size much larger than the flame thickness.  相似文献

The interaction of weak noise and regular signals with a shock wave having a finite width is studied in the framework of the Burgers equation model. The temporal realization of the random process located behind the front approaches it at supersonic speed. In the process of moving to the front, the intensity of noise decreases and the correlation time increases. In the central region of the shock front, noise reveals non-trivial behaviour. For large acoustic Reynolds numbers the average intensity can increase and reach a maximum value at a definite distance. The behaviour of statistical characteristics is studied using linearized Burgers equation with variable coefficients reducible to an autonomous equation. This model allows one to take into account not only the finite width of the front, but the attenuation and diverse character of initial profiles and spectra as well. Analytical solutions of this equation are derived. Interaction of regular signals of complex shape with the front is studied by numerical methods. Some illustrative examples of ongoing processes are given. Among possible applications, the controlling the spectra of signals, in particular, noise suppression by irradiating it with shocks or sawtooth waves can be mentioned.  相似文献

为降低惯性约束聚变装置中大口径反射镜在重力作用下附加面型对光束质量的影响,对大口径反射镜镜背支撑技术进行了研究。经支撑结构优化,大口径反射镜由重力导致的附加面型从0.5 m降为0.26 m。对大口径反射镜镜体的打孔工艺、镜体与支撑架联接工艺及镜架结构进行了研究,并加工了样机进行验证,从实际测试结果来看,采用的反射镜打孔及粘结工艺对反射镜面型的影响可以忽略,反射镜镜架结构可以满足反射镜支撑要求,反射镜采用背支撑技术可以有效降低重力带来的附加波前。  相似文献
