In this work we display a numerical comparison, under statistical and computational point of view, between semi-analytical Eulerian and Lagrangian dispersion models to simulate the ground-level concentration values of a passive pollutant released from a low height source. The Eulerian approach is based on the solution of the advection–diffusion equation by the Laplace transform technique. The Lagrangian approach is based on solution of the Langevin equation through the Picard’s Iterative Method. Turbulence inputs are calculated according to a parameterization capable of generating continuous values in all stability conditions and in all heights of the Planetary Boundary Layer (PBL). Numerical simulations and comparisons show a good agreement between predicted and observed concentrations values. The comparison reveals the main advantages and disadvantages between the models. 相似文献

The aim of this work was to compare the gamma radiation induced effects on samples of an ethylene-propylene copolymer antioxidant free with samples loaded with an antioxidant characterised by the presence of an -NH functional group. The employed techniques were Electron Spin Resonance spectroscopy (ESR) and High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). Stable radicals R---NO° due to the interaction of free radicals produced in the irradiated polymer with the antioxidant have been observed by ESR at room temperature. The time evolution of the ESR signals following the irradiation was examined at different doses. The amount of antioxidant not involved in the oxidation reactions has been determined using HPLC. 相似文献

Polyethers, which are produced by alcoholysis of oxiranes, are often used as solvents in chemical plants. The spectra of the products can be influenced by the choice of the catalyst (acid or base). The results of the base-catalyzed ethanolysis of 1,2-epoxybutane are displayed. The reaction was investigated calorimetrically by varying the molar ratio between ethanol and 1,2-epoxybutane, the starting temperature and the concentration of the catalyst sodium hydroxide. Additionally, the influence of the used alcohol will be shown in one example. 超低温快速冷冻固定以极高的冷冻速率(10000K/s)对生物组织进行物理固定,可使生物组织结构、组织内可溶性离子及游离性物质得到保存,使被固定后的生物组织保持最接近于原自然状态,这种样品制备方法大大优于化学制备法,因而在X-射线微分析及免疫细胞化学中得到广泛应用。生物样品超低温快速冷冻后,利用冷冻置换法,在低温下将生物组织内的结晶水缓慢置换出来,而后常规包埋切片,可获得理想的组织结构及组织内待分析成分。本文应用超低温快速冷冻固定技术及冷冻置换法对大鼠肾皮质部的快速冷冻固定及损伤进行探讨。 相似文献

Simple two-parameter Hückel and Pitzer equations were used for the calculation of the activity coefficients of aqueous hydrochloric acid at 25°C up to a molality of 2.0 mol-kg–1. The data obtained by Harned and Ehlers(12,13) from galvanic cells without liquid junction were used in the analysis and the parameters obtained were compared to those obtained from all reliable data presented in the literature for HCl at this temperature. A good agreement between the parameters was always observed. The activity coefficients obtained by the new equations were compared to those suggested by Robinson and Stokes,(8) Hamer and Wu,(1) and Pitzer and Mayorga,(9) and good agreement was also found. The data from the most important literature data sets for HCl were also predicted using the new activity coefficient equations, and the magnitude of the resulting errors was close to the precision of the measurements, the errors forming an almost random pattern for all data sets. 相似文献

Wood-pulp fibres are recognized as concentrically-layered, laminated composite tubes of structural reinforcing material, the
cellulose microfibrils, embedded in a cementing matrix of hemicellulose and lignin. When the single fibres are subjected to
cyclic mechanical action, their morphological behaviour is characterized by the fatigue growth of micro-voids and surface
damage which individually and collectively give rise to stress concentrations, and eventually crack development. The progressive
damage phenomena, evinced by the surface imaging and optical sectioning techniques through utilizing confocal laser scanning
microscopy, are understood to be consequences of the cumulative material micromechanical degradation and subsequent microstructural
breakdown of the cellulose microfibrillar framework. This structural breakdown is believed to effect the fibrillation and
flexibilization of the fibres
