The double exponential map and covariant derivation

We study the double exponential map which is a composition of a special form of two exponential maps on a manifold with connection. We relate this map and the composition of covariant derivations as well as the composition of pseudodifferential operators on these manifolds.     

Horizontal Connection and Horizontal Mean Curvature in Carnot Groups

In this paper we give a geometric interpretation of the notion of the horizontal mean curvature which is introduced by Danielli Garofalo-Nhieu and Pauls who recently introduced sub- Riemannian minimal surfaces in Carnot groups. This will be done by introducing a natural nonholonomic connection which is the restriction （projection） of the natural Riemannian connection on the horizontal bundle. For this nonholonomic connection and （intrinsic） regular hypersurfaces we introduce the notions of the horizontal second fundamental form and the horizontal shape operator. It turns out that the horizontal mean curvature is the trace of the horizontal shape operator.     

Homogeneity and Canonical Connections of Isoparametric Manifolds

On every isoparametric submanifold M a connection with parallel second fundamental form is constructed geometrically such that M is an orbit of an s-representation if and only if the connection is a canonical one. If the rank of M is greater than one this connection is in case of homogeneity the canonical connection of the reductive decomposition given by the orbit of s-representation. 运用矩阵光学的方法对多棒串接固体激光器的谐振腔参数及其在平平腔时的热稳条件进行了研究，并计算了六棒串接平平腔固体激光器的稳定区.结果证明：多棒串接固体激光器的稳定区和非稳区相互间隔，在平平腔总腔长、激光棒数量n和棒间距L一定的条件下，当采用对称结构时(L₁=L₂)，则谐振腔的每段稳定区均达到最大；且只要 平平腔满足L₁=L₂=L/2以及热焦距f在大于某个下限值f_m时，稳定性条件01< 关键词： 多棒串接固体激光器 稳定区 热稳条件

煤与瓦斯突出预报的模糊聚类关联分析法

首先采用模糊聚类分析对煤与瓦斯突出的样本集合进行分类，建立不同突出程度的模糊模式。然后用关联分析确定待预报样本与模式的关联程度，以此预测预报样本的煤与瓦斯突出危险程度。这种预报方法相对于模糊聚类分类后，将模式与待预报样本组成新的样本集合，再进行聚类分析，以此分类结果进行预报法。不仅可靠程度高，而且能定量描述待报样本与模式的亲和程度。
