A confrgurational and conformational study of NH, N-acetyl- and N-sulfonylaziridine carboxylates is performed by1H ,13C,17O, and15N NMR spectroscopy. An optical CO2 sensor based on the overlay of the CO2 induced absorbance change of pH indicator dye α-naphtholphthalein in poly(isobutyl methacrylate) (polyIBM) layer with the fluorescence of tetraphenylporphyrin (TPP) in polystyrene layer is developed. The observed luminescence intensity from TPP at 655 nm increased with increasing the CO2 concentration. The ratio I100/I0 value of the sensing film consisting of α-naphtholphthalein in polyIBM and TPP in polystyrene layer, where I0 and I100 represent the detected luminescence intensities from a layer exposed to argon and CO2 saturated conditions, respectively, that the sensitivity of the sensor, is estimated to be 192. The response and recovery times of the sensing film are less than 6.0 s for switching from argon to CO2, and for switching from CO2 to argon. The signal changes are fully reversible and no hysterisis is observed during the measurements. The highly sensitive optical CO2 sensor based on fluorescence intensity changes of TPP due to the absorption change of α-naphtholphthalein in polyIBM layer with CO2 is achieved.  相似文献

Fluorocarbon impact on ozone depletion is reviewed together with the efficacy of the Montreal Protocol in acting to correct the imbalance between stratospheric ozone production and destruction. The Protocol is also helping to reduce global warming: CFCs are shown to be currently the largest fluorocarbon contributors to climate change. Relative contributions to climate change from CFCs and their HFC substitutes are discussed, together with the consequences of control of minor greenhouse gases on an environmental impact which is dominated by carbon dioxide emissions. Both the potencies of the materials for environmental change and their concentrations in the atmosphere are important and are considered here.Trifluoroacetic acid, a minor product of atmospheric decomposition of some HCFCs and HFCs and of the pyrolysis of fluoropolymers, has been shown to be uniformly distributed in seawater to a depth of over 4000 m and so is natural, although the actual source has yet to be identified.The Montreal Protocol is only one example of action to reduce undesirable impact from fluorocarbons. Other, less universal, actions include abatement of fluoroform greenhouse gas emissions from HCFC manufacturing, process changes to eliminate trifluoromethylsulfur pentafluoride emissions from electrochemical fluorination and ceasing manufacture of perfluorooctanyl sulfonate compounds due to their persistence in human tissue.  相似文献

Changes in binding affinity to catalytic antibody 6D9 of chloramphenicol phosphonate derivatives (CPDs) containing H or F were investigated by performing free energy calculations based on molecular dynamics simulations. We calculated the binding free energy, enthalpy, and entropy changes (DeltaDeltaG, DeltaDeltaH, and -TDeltaDeltaS) attributable to H-->F substitution by comparing results for CPDs containing a trifluoroacetylamino group (CPD-F) or an acetylamino group (CPD-H). The calculated DeltaDeltaG, DeltaDeltaH, and -TDeltaDeltaS values were -2.9, -6.3, and 3.5 kcal mol(-1) and close to experimental values observed for a series of similar ligands, chloramphenicol phosphonates with F and H (-1.4, -3.5, and 2.1 kcal mol(-1)). Therefore, CPD-F binds more strongly to 6D9 than does CPD-H. To clarify the origin of the large difference in DeltaDeltaG, we apportioned the calculated values of DeltaDeltaG and DeltaG for the associated and dissociated states into contributions from various atomic interactions. We found that the H-->F substitution increased the binding affinity mainly by decreasing the hydration free energy and not by increasing favorable interactions with the antibody. The decreased hydration free energy of the ligand was mainly due to unfavorable coulombic interactions between the trifluoroacetylamino group and solvent waters, which increased the free energy of the dissociated state (by about 3.7 kcal mol(-1)). Also, the trifluoroacetylamino group slightly increased the free energy level of the associated state (about 0.8 kcal mol(-1)) because favorable van der Waals interactions compensated for unfavorable coulombic interactions with antibody atoms. In addition, the enthalpy and entropy changes, DeltaDeltaH and -TDeltaDeltaS (computationally -6.3 and 3.5 kcal mol(-1)), originated mainly from a decrease in hydration free energy in the dissociated state. The CPD-F and CPD-H ligands had substantially different structures in the dissociated and complexed states.  相似文献

The thermodynamic parameters for the interaction of Cu2+, Ni2+, Co2+, Cd2+, andAg+ with the new title ligand have been determined by titration calorimetry in 50% THF–methanol (V/V) at 25 °C.Ag+ exhibited remarkably higher complexation selectivity.Ag+ and several transition metal ions have been transportedusing this ligand as carrier in a bulk liquid membrane. CompetitiveAg+–M2+ transport studies have also beencarried out for the same system. In this membrane transport study, high transport of Ag+ was observed in both single and competitiveAg+–M2+ transport studies. The complexformation of N,N-bis[o-(diphenylphosphino)benzylidene]ethylenediamine (P2N2) with silver,[Ag(P2N2)] (NO3), (1) is reported. A multireference configurational interaction method based on the separated electron pair (SEP) wave functions, SEP‐CI approach, has been developed as an approximation to the traditional CASSCF method. It differs from the CASSCF method in that active orbitals are obtained from the SEP wave function without further optimization in the subsequent CI calculations, and the active space is automatically constructed according to the occupation coefficients of SEP natural orbitals. These features make the present SEP‐CI method computationally much less demanding than the CASSCF method. The applicability of the SEP‐CI method is illustrated with sample calculations on the insertion reaction of BeH2 and dissociation energies of LiH, BH, FH, H2O, and N2. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Dilatometry is a technique for precise measurement of thermal dilatation of materials during heating or cooling. A procedure has been presented for calibration of a differential dilatometer operating with electromagnetic heating for metallic specimens both upon heating and cooling as well as under uniaxial compressive and tensile loading. The dilation signal has been calibrated for both heating and cooling and for uniaxial loading (compressive and tensile) using platinum or iron reference specimens, for which recommended dilational data are available. The ferro- to paramagnetic transition (characterised by the Curie temperature) of pure iron or iron-based alloys has been adopted to calibrate the temperature in the dilatometric measurement under different loading modes during heating and cooling. On this basis calibrated data for the thermal expansion coefficients of Fe and Fe-Ni alloys have been obtained.  相似文献

Front tracking and enthalpy methods used to study phase change processes are based on a local thermal energy balance at the liquid–solid interface where mass accommodation methods are also used to account for the density change during the phase transition. Recently, it has been shown that a local thermal balance at the interface does not reproduce the thermodynamic equilibrium in adiabatic systems. Total thermal balance through the entire liquid–solid system can predict the correct thermodynamic equilibrium values of melted (solidified) mass, system size, and interface position. In this work, total thermal balance is applied to systems with isothermal–adiabatic boundary conditions to estimate the sensible and latent heat stored (released) by KNO3 and KNO3/NaNO3 salts which are used as high-temperature phase change materials. Relative percent differences between the solutions obtained with a local thermal balance at the interface and a total thermal balance for the thermal energy absorbed or released by high-temperature phase change materials are obtained. According to the total thermal balance proposed, a correction to the liquid–solid interface dynamics is introduced, which accounts for an extra amount of energy absorbed or released during the phase transition. It is shown that melting or solidification rates are modified by using a total thermal balance through the entire system. Finally, the numerical and semi-analytical methods illustrate that volume changes and the fraction of melted (solidified) solid (liquid) estimated through a local thermal balance at the interface are not invariant in adiabatic systems. The invariance of numerical and semi-analytical solutions in adiabatic systems is significantly improved through the proposed model.  相似文献

预估极端气候事件趋势能够降低其引起的灾害风险.该文基于CMIP6集合优化数据集EPTGODD-WHU,选取5个极端气候指数,即最高气温极大值(TXx)、最高气温极小值(TXn)、最低气温极大值(TNx)、最低气温极小值(TNn)和最大月降水量(PXx),并结合GIS分析手段,对2021—2100年SSP1-2.6、SSP2-4.5和SSP5-8.5情景下的全球陆地极端气温及降水进行预估.结果表明:1)相较于CMIP单一模式,EPTGODD-WHU数据集模拟性能显著提升,气温及降水的空间相关系数分别达到0.99和0.81.2) SSP5-8.5情景下,年最低气温和最高气温均上升明显,且这种上升趋势年内波动不大,地球陆地极寒地区将面临升温的风险,而赤道等极热地区将处于年内长时间酷热状态.3)六大洲在SSP5-8.5情景下的极端降水整体上升趋势最剧烈,但北美洲密西西比平原和滨海平原的地区在SSP5-8.5情景下在未来面临较高的旱灾风险.4)中国西南部地区的极端降水在三个情景下均呈稳定的增幅,且增幅高达60%,预示面临较高的洪灾风险.  相似文献

研究了任意梯度变化的变厚度各向异性转动圆盘的弹性问题.假设圆盘绕刚性轴匀速转动,其材料性能和厚度沿径向任意梯度变化.考虑圆盘在中心转轴处受位移约束,外侧自由,根据各向异性转动圆盘的平衡微分方程,得到关于径向应力的Fredholm积分方程,继而通过对Fredholm积分方程进行数值求解,得到结构的位移场和应力场.对具体梯度变化情况仅需代入相应梯度变化进行求解即可.数值算例部分,通过假设厚度、弹性模量等参数为特殊的幂函数形式,将由Fredholm积分方程求出的数值解与对应的精确解进行对比,以及针对常见的Voigt模型,将由该方法算得的数值解和ANSYS有限元计算结果进行对比,验证了该方法的准确性和精度.其次,针对Voigt模型,重点分析了厚度变化、材料性能梯度参数、各向异性度等对应力场和位移场的影响.提出了针对材料性能和厚度沿径向呈任意梯度变化的圆盘结构弹性分析方法,将为优化功能梯度圆盘的结构和材料参数、有效调整构件应力分布、提高结构安全性,提供强有力的工具;算例分析结果对功能梯度圆盘在复杂条件下的结构安全设计有重要的理论指导意义.  相似文献
