DNA release electrochemically stimulated by applying ?10 mV on the modified electrode was studied. The release process was based on the local (interfacial) pH change produced upon H2O2 reduction electrocatalyzed by the immobilized microperoxidase‐11. SiO2 nanoparticles attached to the electrode surface and functionalized with trigonelline and boronic acid species changed their electrical charge from positive to negative upon the interfacial pH change, thus allowing electrostatic adsorption of negatively charged DNA on the positive interface and then its repulsion/release from the negative interface. The loaded/released DNA molecules were labeled with a fluorescent dye to allow easy detection of the released DNA molecules. Heavy rainfall events, increasing in frequency and intensity with climate change, impact on the quality of the water resource used for drinking-water production. Small-scale water suppliers are particularly sensitive because of their management and the related difficulties of adapting treatment to variations. Decision-support systems, based on monitoring and analytical tools, need to be developed to improve crisis-management procedures related to such events. The employment of hexane/N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine (TMEDA) dramatically hinders the racemization of those lithiated styrene oxides (trifluoromethyl-, chloro-, and phenylthio-substituted) that have been proven to be configurationally unstable in THF on the timescale of their reactions. The barriers to inversion and the activation parameters, calculated (Eyring equation) for reactions performed in THF, THF/TMEDA, and hexane/TMEDA, suggest the intervention of particular enantiomerization mechanisms for each case. The role of TMEDA in both coordinating and noncoordinating solvents has also been questioned and discussed in light of the kinetic data gathered and a model for deprotonation in hexane/TMEDA has also been proposed. The synthetic benefits of our results became apparent on establishing an asymmetric synthesis of an industrially important antifungal agent. 相似文献

Biodegradable microspheres were fabricated by poly(?-caprolactone) (PCL) homopolymer and poly(?-caprolactone-b-ethylene oxide) (PCL-b-PEO) amphiphilic block copolymer. The regulation of microsphere surface morphology was successfully achieved by controlled enzymatic degradation. The morphological changes induced by biodegradation and their influences on the growth of MG-63 human osteosarcoma cells were studied. Results based on the evaluation of cytotoxicity and the morphological observation of MG-63 cells cultivated on microspheres showed better growth of cells on the surface of degraded microspheres than on the surface of those undegraded microspheres no matter they were fabricated by homopolymers or copolymers. The influences of morphological changes of microsphere surface before and after biodegradation on MG-63 cell growth were discussed. The results of this work indicated that the biodegradation-induced morphological changes of microspheres could be well controlled and were favorable for MG-63 cell attachment and proliferation. 相似文献

Abstract The nuclear spin-lattice relaxation time T 1 of 93Nb in NbSe3 has been observed as a function of frequency v N in the range 6-40 MHz at 4.2 K and of temperature T in the range 1.3-77 K at 10 MHz. [T 1 T]?1 is found to be proportional to 1/√ν corresponding to characteristic divergence of spin correlation function in 1-D system. Below ~10 MHz, a break down of the divergence is observed. The important features of the T dependence observed are a sharp minimum at ~45 K and an asymptotical approach to the metallic relation, T 1 T= const, with decreasing T down to helium temperature. This [T 1 T]?1 minimum is explained by the destruction of the Fermi surface due to the CDW gap formation. The re-increase of [T 1 T]?1 below the CDW transition may suggest a partial recovery of the destructed Fermi surface. 相似文献

Pressure-volume isotherms for 4-(trans-4-butylcylohexyl)benzonitrile were measured by means of piston-cylinder method. This substance has a monotropic nematic phase at atmospheric pressure. But over a pressure, the nature of isotropic to nematic phase transition changed from monotropic to enantiotropic phase transition. Daihai Lake, located in NW margin of SE monsoon region, belongs to the sensitive area for climatic fluctuation. The analysis of continuous sedimentary column with an age of 100 ka indicates that there exists the different quasiperiodicity in time scales for monsoon shift. The climatic fluctuation in the Daihai Basin shows all along the alternation of cold and dry with a warm and wet climatic pattern, suggesting that the strength and drift of SE monsoon play a controllable role in the climatic change. 相似文献
