A New Mixer‐Sampler for Use in the Powder Technology Laboratory

The spinning riffler is often used to obtain small sub‐samples of a powder, but the move to the use of finer powders in industrial situations presents obstacles to the use of the spinning riffler.     

一维Allen-Cahn方程紧差分格式的离散最大化原则和能量稳定性研究

本文主要研究相场模拟中的Allen-Cahn模型,考虑一维Allen-Cahn方程紧差分方法的数值逼近.建立具有O(∫τ2+h4)精度的全离散紧差分格式,证明在合理的步长比和时间步长的约束下,其数值解满足离散最大化原则,在此基础上,研究了全离散格式的能量稳定性.最后给出数值算例.     

One- and two-dimensional C–H/N–H dipolar correlation experiments under fast magic-angle spinning for determining the peptide dihedral angle φ

A recently proposed ¹³C–¹H recoupling sequence operative under fast magic-angle spinning (MAS) [K. Takegoshi, T. Terao, Solid State Nucl. Magn. Reson. 13 (1999) 203–212.] is applied to observe ¹³C–¹H and ¹⁵N–¹H dipolar powder patterns in the ¹H–¹⁵N–¹³C–¹H system of a peptide bond. Both patterns are correlated by ¹⁵N-to-¹³C cross polarization to observe one- or two-dimensional (1D or 2D) correlation spectra, which can be simulated by using a simple analytical expression to determine the H–N–C–H dihedral angle. The 1D and 2D experiments were applied to N-acetyl[1,2-¹³C,¹⁵N] -valine, and the peptide φ angle was determined with high precision by the 2D experiment to be ±155.0°±1.2°. The positive one is in good agreement with the X-ray value of 154°±5°. The 1D experiment provided the value of φ=±156.0°±0.8°.     

Topological equivalence of Haar measures on compact groups

The existence of homeomorphisms establishign an isometry of normalized Haar measures on (metrizable) compact groups is studied. In the case of 0-dimensional groups, a complete answer is given in terms of the indices of open normal subgroups. For example, for the countable powers of the groups ℤ/(m) and ℤ/(n), the answer is affirmative if and only ifm andn have the same prime divisors. Connectedness of Cone Superefficient Point Sets in Locally Convex Topological Vector Spaces

This paper studies the connectedness of the cone superefficient point set in locally convex topological vector spaces. First, we prove a scalarization theorem for a cone superefficient point set. From this result, we obtain the connectedness of a cone superefficient point set under the conditions that the set is cone convex and cone weakly compact.

讨论了较为广泛的一类迭代函数方程组G（x,f(x),…,f^n(x),g(x),…,g^n(x))=0 H(x,g(x),…,g^n(x),f(x),…,f^n(x)=0对任x∈J,其中J为实数轴R的连通闭子集,G,H∈C^m(J^2n 1,R),n≥2,对任一个整数m≥0,本在较弱的条件下证明了该方程组的C^m解的存在性和唯一性。

Compactness of composition operators on BMOA

A function theoretic characterization is given of when a composition operator is compact on BMOA, the space of analytic functions on the unit disk having radial limits that are of bounded mean oscillation on the unit circle. When the symbol of the composition operator is univalent, compactness on BMOA is shown to be equivalent to compactness on the Bloch space, and a characterization in terms of the geometry of the image of the disk under the symbol of the operator results.
