磁饱和时发电机组轴系电磁激发扭振组合共振

为研究磁饱和状态下发电机转子轴系电磁激发扭振问题，应用推广形式的拉格朗日．麦克斯韦方程，找到磁饱和状态下发电机气隙磁场能量，建立了电机转子轴系扭振方程组．由非线性振动平均法求得满足组合共振时幅频响应分岔方程并进行奇异性分析，得到了开折参数平面的转迁集和分岔图．数值结果表明，随着激磁电流和非线性磁导的增加，以及同步电抗的减小，系统组合共振的共振区增大．

基于联合编程的船舶电力系统短路电流研究

为研究便捷高效的船舶交流电力系统短路电流计算方法,从整体上把握短路电流的变化规律,建立船用发电机、电动机的数学模型,开发出VB、Excel、MATLAB三种软件联合编程方法,利用实船参数对船舶交流电力系统的短路电流进行研究分析,获得短路电流数据及图像.研究表明,该方法在获得精确计算数据的同时,可以生成短路电流-时间曲线,直观反映了短路电流随时间的变化规律.     

Why is understanding glassy polymer mechanics so difficult?

In this Perspective, I describe recent work on systems in which the traditional distinctions between (i) unentangled versus well‐entangled systems and (ii) melts versus glasses seem least useful, and argue for the broader use in glassy polymer mechanics of two more dichotomies: systems which possess (iii) unary versus binary and (iv) cooperative versus noncooperative relaxation dynamics. I discuss the applicability of (iii–iv) to understanding the functional form of strain hardening. Results from molecular dynamics simulations show that the “dramatic” hardening observed in densely entangled systems is associated with a crossover from unary, noncooperative to binary, cooperative relaxation as strain increases; chains stretch between entanglement points, altering the character of local plasticity. Initial guess by improved population-based intelligent algorithms for large inter-frame deformation measurement using digital image correlation

Digital image correlation (DIC) has received a widespread research and application in experimental mechanics. In DIC, the performance of subpixel registration algorithm (e.g., Newton-Raphson method, quasi-Newton method) relies heavily on the initial guess of deformation. In the case of small inter-frame deformation, the initial guess could be found by simple search scheme, the coarse-fine search for instance. While for large inter-frame deformation, it is difficult for simple search scheme to robustly estimate displacement parameters and deformation parameters simultaneously with low computational cost. In this paper, we proposed three improving strategies, i.e. Q-stage evolutionary strategy (T), parameter control strategy (C) and space expanding strategy (E), and then combined them into three population-based intelligent algorithms (PIAs), i.e. genetic algorithm (GA), differential evolution (DE) and particle swarm optimization (PSO), and finally derived eighteen different algorithms to calculate the initial guess for qN. The eighteen algorithms were compared in three sets of experiments including large rigid body translation, finite uniaxial strain and large rigid body rotation, and the results showed the effectiveness of proposed improving strategies. Among all compared algorithms, DE-TCE is the best which is robust, convenient and efficient for large inter-frame deformation measurement.

Linear interval equations with symmetric solution sets

Criteria for symmetry and boundedness are found for the combined solution set of a system of linear algebraic equations with interval coefficients. It is shown that the problem of the best inner interval estimation of a symmetric solution set can be exactly solved by linear programming methods.     

Laws of Influence of Structural Characteristics on the Strength and Crack Resistance of Aging Metallic Materials

The structural characteristics (the volume fraction, size, and shape of and the distance among hardening-phase particles) of aging alloys and steels, which define the behavior of the critical stress intensity factor during thermal hardening, are determined using the structural-mechanical approach we have developed. It is experimentally demonstrated for maraging steels that our approach is capable of proving the correlations of strength, plasticity, and crack- resistance with the structural characteristics, which were varied by changing the chemical composition of steel and thermokinetic aging conditions__________Translated from Prikladnaya Mekhanika, Vol. 41, No. 1, pp. 94–101, January 2005.
