图们江地区开发进程预测与模式选择

图们江地区开发是一项长期的艰巨的宏大工程，其最终目标是要建成全球的物流中心，本文回顾了图们江地区开发历程，对实现其开发目标的进程进行了预测，并提出了分三个阶段，采取三种开发模型进行开发的观点。     

SETAR model selection-A bootstrap approach

Summary  The aim of this paper is to propose new selection criteria for the orders of selfexciting threshold autoregressive (SETAR) models. These criteria use bootstrap methodology; they are based on a weighted mean of the apparent error rate in the sample and the average error rate obtained from bootstrap samples not containing the point being predicted. These new criteria are compared with the traditional ones based on the Akaike information criterion (AIC). A simulation study and an example on a real data set end the paper.     

Asymptotic stability of traveling waves in a discrete convolution model for phase transitions

In a recent paper [P. Bates, A. Chmaj, A discrete convolution model for phase transition, Arch. Rational Mech. Anal. 150 (1999) 281-305], a discrete convolution model for Ising-like phase transition has been derived, and the existence, uniqueness of traveling waves and stability of stationary solution have been studied. This nonlocal model describes l₂-gradient flow for a Helmholts free energy functional with general range interaction. In this paper, by using the comparison principle and the squeezing technique, we prove that the traveling wavefronts with nonzero speed is globally asymptotic stable with phase shift.     

最小费用原则下的运输路径选择

论述了运输费用的内涵及其构成。运输费用主要包括劳务费、过路费、燃油费、轮胎费，研究了这几种费用的计算方法。并且以吉林省吉林市为起点，以桦甸市为终点，遵循费用最小的原则，分析了运输路径的最佳选择，同时对路径选择的可能原因作出了定性解释。     

抢渡长江最优路径的讨论

给出了2003年全国大学生数学建模竞赛D题的一种求解方法.运用拉格朗日乘数法与变分法建立了水速变化时最优路径适合的方程.特别针对问题4,当水流速度线性变化时,导出了求解最优解的函数方程.     

A Comparative Study of Politeness Principles Between Chinese and English Cultures

This paper shows that people lay special emphasis on difference aspects of "cooperative principle" or "politeness principle" in the light of their own culture in cross-culture communication. And it analyses what the differences of PP in the language using in Pragmatic are, and why? It deals with the differences between English and Chinese cultures.

Pattern search ranking and selection algorithms for mixed variable simulation-based optimization

The class of generalized pattern search (GPS) algorithms for mixed variable optimization is extended to problems with stochastic objective functions. Because random noise in the objective function makes it more difficult to compare trial points and ascertain which points are truly better than others, replications are needed to generate sufficient statistical power to draw conclusions. Rather than comparing pairs of points, the approach taken here augments pattern search with a ranking and selection (R&S) procedure, which allows for comparing many function values simultaneously. Asymptotic convergence for the algorithm is established, numerical issues are discussed, and performance of the algorithm is studied on a set of test problems.
