Based on the MNDO calculations of the electronic structure of the molecules of acrolein, glyoxal, and butadiene, possible mechanisms of the conjugation in systems containing conjugated C=C and C=O bonds have been analyzed. In the electronic ground state ofs-trans-acrolein, the , -conjugation is very small, whereas in the first excited electronic state, the conjugation is substantial, In the ground state ofs-trans-glyoxal, the ,-conjugation should manifest itself clearly but should be weaker than in butadiene, whereas in the first excited electronic state, this conjugation should be more pronounced, Alternation of double and single bonds in the classic structural formula of a molecule does not ensure that this molecule exhibits the properties of a -conjugated system even in planar conformations.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. We have produced nanophase metal clusters, (Fe)n, (Cr)n, (Mo)n and (W)n, by multiphoton decomposition of the corresponding metal carbonyls with a 10.6 μm CO2 laser in the presence of Ar and SF6. The size distribution was narrow and the average diameter was 6, 3.5, 2 and 1 nm for Fe, Cr, Mo and W clusters, respectively. The structure was found to be bcc for both Fe and Cr clusters, fcc for Mo clusters, and amorphous for W clusters (note that all the bulk metals have bcc structure). Considering the cluster sizes (9630, 1870, 230 and 30 for Fe, Cr, Mo and W clusters, respectively) estimated from their average diameters, it is likely that there exists a structural transition from fcc to bulk bcc with increasing cluster size in these metal clusters.  相似文献

Interatomic distances in the reaction centers of the addition reactions of (i) H· to the C=C, C=O, N≡C, and C≡C bonds, (ii) ·CH3 radical to the C=C, C=O, and C≡C bonds, and (iii) alkyl, aminyl, and alkoxyl radicals to olefin C=C bonds were determined using a new semiempirical method for calculating transition-state geometries of radical reactions. For all reactions of the type X· + Y=Z → X— Y—Z· the r # X...Y distance in the transition state is a linear function of the enthalpy of reaction. Parameters of this dependence were determined for seventeen classes of radical addition reactions. The bond elongation, Δr # X...Y, in the transition state decreases as the triplet repulsion, electronegativity difference between the atoms X and Y in the reaction center, and the force constant of the attacked multiple bond increase. __________ Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. The review is devoted to a new catalytic olefination reaction (COR) discovered by the authors. This is the reaction between N-unsubstituted hydrazones of carbonyl compounds with dihalides CHal2XY in the presence of copper(i) chloride to give substituted alkenes. Catalytic olefination is versatile. Variation of the carbonyl and olefinating components opens up the way for the synthesis of various classes of unsaturated compounds including those containing functional groups. The reaction mechanism is discussed and a catalytic cycle describing the process is proposed. A model for estimating and predicting the reactivity of halogen-containing compounds in the COR is developed. The relationship between the structure of the carbonyl substrates and their behavior in the title reaction is elucidated.  相似文献

Reactions of the complex [MoCl(eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)(CO)(2)(phen)] (1) (phen=1,10-phenanthroline) with potassium arylamides were used to synthesize the amido complexes [Mo(N(R)Ar)(eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)(CO)(2)(phen)] (R=H, Ar=Ph, 2 a; R=H, Ar=p-tolyl, 2 b; R=Me, Ar=Ph; 2 c). For 2 b the Mo-N(amido) bond length (2.105(4) A) is consistent with it being a single bond, with which the metal attains an 18-electron configuration. The reaction of 2 b with HOTf affords the amino complex [Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)(NH(2)(p-tol))(CO)(2)(phen)]OTf (3-OTf). Treatment of 3-OTf with nBuLi or KN(SiMe(3))(2) regenerates 2 b. The new amido complexes react with CS(2), arylisothiocyanates and maleic anhydride. A single product corresponding to the formal insertion of the electrophile into the Mo-N(amido) bond is obtained in each case. For maleic anhydride, ring opening accompanied the formation of the insertion product. The reaction of 2 b with maleimide affords [Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)[NC(O)CH=CHC(O)](CO)(2)(phen)] (7), which results from simple acid-base metathesis. The reaction of 2 b with (p-tol)NCO affords [[Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)(CO)(2)(phen)](2)(eta(2)-MoO(4))] (8), which corresponds to oxidation of one third of the metal atoms to Mo(VI). Complex 8 was also obtained in the reactions of 2 b with CO(2) or the lactide 3,6-dimethyl-1,4-dioxane-2,5-dione. The structures of the compounds 2 b, 3-OTf, [Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)[SC(S)(N(H)Ph)](CO)(2)(phen)] (4), [Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)[SC(N(p-tol))(NH(p-tol))](CO)(2)(phen)] (5 a), and [Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)[OC(O)CH=CHC(O)(NH(p-tol))](CO)(2)(phen)] (6), 7, and 8 (both the free complex and its N,N'-di(p-tolyl)urea adduct) were determined by X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

Benzenesulfenamides with the formula R-S-N-(R)2 (R=C6H5 andR=NC4H8O, C7H7 and C6H11) and their chromium carbonyl complexes were studied by means of TG and mass spectrometric methods. The thermal behaviour of the compounds the stabilities of free sulfenamides are lower than those observed for the corresponding chromium carbonyl complexes. Combined thermogravimetry — mass spectrometry results suggest that the fragmentation mechanism of the carbonyl complexes involves cleavage of the Cr-S and Cr-CO bonds while that of sulfenamide depends mainly on the dissociation rates of the NR2 groups.This work was partially supported by the Departamento técnico de Investigation of the Universidad de Chile, Grant Q3280/9324.  相似文献

The crystal structures of three cluster compounds: [(µ-H)Fe2Mo(µ3-Te)(CO)8Cp*], [FeMo23-Te)(CO)7x Cp*2], and [FeMoW(µ3-Te)(CO)7CpCp*], where Cp = 5-C5H5, Cp* = 5-C5 (CH3)5, have been investigated. In the cluster with a tetrahedral {FeMo2Te} core, one can observe positional isomerism of the carbonyl and cyclopentadienyl ligands with respect to the plane through the Fe and Te atoms and the center of the Mo2bond, resulting in two mirror isomers in the racemic crystal. In the cluster with the {FeMoWTe} core, additional chirality causes the formation of four diastereoisomers. Earlier, the structure of the [FeMoW(µ3-Se)(CO)7Cp] cluster with Mo and W atoms coordinated to identical Cp-ligands has been structurally defined. In this crystal, statistical disordering of Mo and W over the metal positions is observed. In the [FeMo(Cp*)W(Cp)(µ3-Te)(CO)7] cluster studied here, the Mo and W atoms are coordinated to different cyclopentadienyl ligands. Due to this, two of four diastereoisomers were isolated as ordered racemic crystals; the other two are nonexistent for steric reasons.Original Russian Text Copyright © 2004 by A. V. Virovets, S. N. This work puts forth a reaction pathway for the reactivation of exogenous ligand inhibited H‐cluster, the active site of Fe‐only hydrogenases. The H‐cluster is a dimetal complex, Fe–Fe, with the metal centers bridged by di(thiomethyl)amine. Exogenous ligands, H2O, and OH?, are bound to the distal iron (Fed). Density functional theory (DFT) calculations on the native and ruthenium‐modified H‐cluster have been performed using the B3LYP functional with 6‐31+G** and 6‐311+G** basis sets. We have ascertained that there is a thermodynamically favorable pathway for the reactivation of the OH? inhibited H‐cluster, which proceeds by an initial protonation of the Fed–OH? complex. Thermal investigations of two novel coordination compounds, potential precursor of copper sulfides, namely [Cu2(S2O3)2(NH3)45H2O and Na2[Cu4(S2O3)5(NH3)82H2O were performed either in solid state (static air atmosphere), as well as in reaction medium. During both decompositions, Cu2+ reduction occurs. In solid state decomposition, a mixture containing sulfides and sulfates is observed. In the reaction medium, CuSy compounds with sulfur content y (0.66<y<1) dependent on thiosulfate concentration are obtained.
