Skeletal faunas from the Qiongzhusian of southern Shaanxi: biodiversity and lithofacies-biofacies links in the Lower Cambrian carbonate settings 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
The Xiaoyang section, located in Zhenba County of Shaanxi Province, is important both for documenting the biodiversity of the Qiongzhusian Stage (Lower Cambrian) and for analyzing lithofacies-biofacies links in carbonate depositing environments on the Yangtze Platform.The skeletal fossils from the Xihaoping Member, including linguloid valves, cambroclavid and chancelloriid sclerites, genal and occipital spines of polymerid trilobites, and tubular fossils, are described here as the Eoobolus-Cambroclavus fauna, which mainly occurred in peritidal environments.The fossils from the argillaceous limestones of the lower Shuijingtuo Formation, containing lingulate brachiopods, eodiscoid trilobites, bivalved arthropods, microdictyoniid sclerites and siliceous sponge spicules, are regarded as the Palaeobolus-Hupeidiscus-Kunmingella fauna, which presumably lived in subtidal or deeper water environments.The faunal diversity in the Xihaoping Member is lower than that in the lower Shuijingtuo Formation.The investigations of the skeletal fossil assemblages from carbonate lithofacies in southern Shaanxi will significantly contribute to a detailed documentation of the biodiversity during the Qiongzhusian interval on the Yangtze Platform and add new knowledge on the Cambrian bioradiation. 相似文献

通过调查研究发现南岭自然保护区有3目7科23属28种淡水鱼。鲤形目占82.1%,鲇形目占14.3%,鲈形目占3.6%;其中以鲤科鱼类种类最多。南岭淡水鱼类可以划分为热带平原、江河平原、上第三纪、中印山区4个区系复合体,大多集中分布在海拔400-800m的高度。 相似文献

西藏聂拉木县聂聂雄拉地区,早、中侏罗世地层较发育,地层中化石属 种繁多。地层划分为下侏罗统“普普嘎组”,中侏罗统聂聂雄拉组和拉弄拉组。作者研究了该区旱、中侏罗世的双壳类动物群40多属80多种。描述双壳类化石8新种:Tancredia(T.)nyalamensis,Hiatellasubtrigona,Pronoella(P.)minima,Opis(O.)curvus,Costigeruillia tetracostata,Weyla costalliformisa,Entolium obliquus,E.subfilosus,刊出部分化石图版,简述双壳类化石组合特征。它的研究对该地区旱、中侏罗世地层划分对比,生物地理分区和动物群特征的认识都具有一定的理论与实践意义。 相似文献

首次通过对浙江象山爵溪镇下沙、大岙和岱山大长涂岛小沙河3个中全新世海滩岩剖面进行以动物群分析为基础,应用δ18O和14C等手段相结合的综合研究,初步分析了浙江沿海中全新世的古气候、古环境。认为海滩岩中热带贝类的出现是中全新世时气候变暖的结果。当时热带向北扩展到了浙江中北部地区,可分为3个暖期:6 040 aBP前、5 860~3 218 aBP和2 875~2 770 aBP,其中5 860~3 210 aBP较暖,它又可分为:5 860~5 490 aBP,5 490~4 110 aBP和3 765~3 210 aBP3个阶段,以5 490~4 110 aBP为最暖期,由δ18O计算的古气温约比现今当地高5~6℃。还由微量元素等特征推测了当时的古环境。 相似文献

We have collected a suite ofPaleoloxodon naumanni-Coelodonta antiquitatis fossils from a river terrace profile between Xi’an and Xianyang cities in Guanzhong Area, Shaanxi Province. A detailed examination
of the fossils, together with14C determinations and pollen analyses, have enabled us to reconstruct preliminary features of climate and environment changes
and their evolutionary processes, within the last glacial maximum (LGM): about 20 ka ago, the climate was basically cool and
wet, and was favourable for the existence ofPaleoloxodon naumanni-Coelodonta antiquitatis fauna. This was followed by a cold, dry phase which was no longer suitable for this type of faunal suite, causing the death
of a large number of mammalian assemblages. The available evidence indicates the existence of cold-dry and cool-wet climate
and environment fluctuations during the LGM. The cool-wet stage within the LGM reflects a Heinrich event occurring in the

Weng'an phosphates of the Precambrian Doushantuo Formation, Guizhou (southwestern China) preserve a large number of exquisite biological structures, which are mostly micro-spherical and represent seaweeds, acritarchs and developing eggs related to various groups of metazoans. Here is a report of a variety of developing eggs and larvae, which are most probably of Cnidarian affinity. The eggs examined in the study are composed of early cleavage embryos and two-layered gastrulae. The early cleavage embryos are radial and total cleavage with equal-size blastomeres. The gastrulae mostly bear a large archenteron, which is filled with yolk-degrading organic matter. Ovoid to fusiform planula-like larvae identified in thin sections under light microscope are mostly mouthless and their gastrovascular cavity is filled with possible yolk-degrading organic matter. They are likely representatives of non-feeding larva. The uncommon planula-like structures are hollow, with each having a mouth-like structure on its narrow end. We interpret them as feeding larva. Study of these embryos with possible Cnidarian affinities shed new insight on the origin of metazoans. 相似文献

于2001年12月和2002年4月两次对甘肃天水麦积山风景区的渭河支流和嘉陵江支流进行了鱼类区系调查,经鉴定有鱼类18种,隶属于2目3科15属,其中放养鱼类5种,野生鱼类13种,高体鳑鮍和勃氏高原鳅为甘肃首次记录。野生鱼类中,渭河水系有5种,嘉陵江水系有9种,相似性指数14.3%,说明两水系隔离比较充分。鱼类种类较少,但区系构成却非常复杂,分别属于5个区系复合体。从鱼的种类和数量来看,北方平原复合体鱼类在该地区占据优势地位。 相似文献
