Solutions in Sobolev spaces of vector refinement equations with a general dilation matrix

In this paper, we present a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of solutions in a Sobolev space W_p^k(ℝ^s) (1≤p≤∞) to a vector refinement equation with a general dilation matrix. The criterion is constructive and can be implemented. Rate of convergence of vector cascade algorithms in a Sobolev space W_p^k(ℝ^s) will be investigated. When the dilation matrix is isotropic, a characterization will be given for the L_p (1≤p≤∞) critical smoothness exponent of a refinable function vector without the assumption of stability on the refinable function vector. As a consequence, we show that if a compactly supported function vector φ∈L_p(ℝ^s) (φ∈C(ℝ^s) when p=∞) satisfies a refinement equation with a finitely supported matrix mask, then all the components of φ must belong to a Lipschitz space Lip(ν,L_p(ℝ^s)) for some ν>0. This paper generalizes the results in R.Q. Jia, K.S. Lau and D.X. Zhou (J. Fourier Anal. Appl. 7 (2001) 143–167) in the univariate setting to the multivariate setting. 用区域分解算法结合蒙特卡罗法求坦克温度场和红外辐射出射度

本文将区域分解算法和蒙特卡罗法相结合，求坦克温度场和红外辐射出射度．采用蒙特卡罗法计算辐射传递系数，可以考虑界面的复杂辐射特性，如：镜反射、各向异性发射、各向异性反射等；可直接考虑界面的复杂几何特性，如:相互遮挡、太阳入射方向上的投影面积等．引入辐射传递系数，分离了计算的难点，使得在时间域（计算步骤）上能把整个问题分解为若干个子问题并行处理、在空间域（计算区域）上将坦克分解为若干个子区域，缩小计算规模，并可使用多个处理器并行计算；同时减轻了蒙特卡罗法编程的难度，缩短了计算时间．     

约束装箱问题的混合遗传算法求解

本将最佳适应法和遗传算法相结合，提出了一种新的启发式混合遗传算法对具有时间约束的装箱问题进行求解，给出了具体的算法步骤，试算结果表明基于启发式算法的混合遗传算法适合于求解各种约束条件下的大规模装箱问题。     

总延误问题顺时安排法的性能比

给定一组工件的加工时间与工期，要求确定这些工件在一台机器上的加．工排列，使相应的总延误达到最小，这就是总延误问题．该问题在近年已被证明是NP困难的．由Wilkermn和Irwin（1971），林勋（1983）等所研究的顺时安排法能得到相邻交换意义下的局部解．在本文中，我们进一步证明该算法能得到前移邻域意义下的局部解，并确定了该算法的性能比．

Current methods for site-directed structure generation

Summary There has been a rapid growth of interest in techniques for site-directed drug design, fuelled by the increasing availability of structural models of proteins of therapeutic importance, and by studies reported in the literature showing that potent chemical leads can be obtained by these techniques. Structure generation programs offer the prospect of discovering highly original lead structures from novel chemical families. Due to the fact that this technique is more-or-less still in its infancy, there are no case studies available that demonstrate the use of structure generation programs for site-directed drug design. Such programs were first proposed in 1986, and became commercially available in early 1992. They have shown their ability to reproduce, or suggest reasonable alternatives for, ligands in well-defined binding sites. This brief review will discuss the recent advances that have been made in the field of site-directed structure generation.
