Flow past multi-element airfoil is studied via two-dimensional numerical simulations. The incompressible Reynolds averaged Navier–Stokes equations, in primitive variables, are solved using a stabilized finite element formulation. The Spalart–Allmaras and Baldwin–Lomax models are employed for turbulence closure. The implementation of the Spalart–Allmaras model is verified by computing flow over a flat plate with a specified trip location. Good agreement is seen between the results obtained with the two models for flow past a NACA 0012 airfoil at 5° angle of attack. Results for the multi-element airfoil, with the two turbulence models, are compared with experiments for various angles of attack. In general, the pressure distribution, from both the models matches quite well with the experimental results. However, at larger angles of attack, the computational results overpredict the suction peak on the slat. The velocity profiles from the Baldwin–Lomax model are, in general, more diffused compared to those from the Spalart–Allmaras model. The agreement between the computed and experimental results is not too good in the flap region for large angles of attack. Both the models are unable to predict the stall; the flow remains attached even for relatively large angles of attack. Consequently, the lift coefficient is over predicted at large α by the computations. Overall, compared to the Baldwin–Lomax model, the predictions from the Spalart–Allmaras model are closer to experimental measurements.  相似文献

针对动态失速引起的风力机翼型气动性能恶化的问题,本文基于动网格和滑移网格技术, 开展了大涡模拟数值计算研究,探索了非定常脉冲等离子体的动态流动控制机理. 结果表明,等离子体气动激励能够有效控制翼型动态失速, 改善平均和瞬态气动力,减小力矩负峰值和迟滞环面积. 压力分布在等离子体施加范围内出现了负压"凸起",上翼面吸力峰值明显增大.脉冲频率和占空比这两个非定常控制参数对流动控制影响显著,无因次脉冲频率为1.5时等离子体控制效果较好,占空比为0.8时即可接近连续工作模式下的气动收益. 翼型深失速状态,等离子体促使流动分离位置明显向后缘移动, 抵抗了大尺度动态失速涡的发生,分离涡结构破碎耗散、重新附着, 涡流影响范围减小; 浅失速状态,等离子体激励具有较强的剪切层操纵能力, 诱导了翼型边界层提前转捩,促进了与主流的动量掺混. 等离子体气动激励诱导出前缘附近贴体翼面"涡簇",起到了虚拟气动外形的作用.不同尺度、频域的动态涡结构与等离子体气动激励的非线性、强耦合作用导致了气动力/力矩的谐波振荡.  相似文献

The time accuracy of the exponentially accu-rate Fourier time spectral method (TSM) is examined and compared with a conventional 2nd-order backward differ-ence formula (BDF) method for periodic unsteady flows. In particular, detailed error analysis based on numerical com-putations is performed on the accuracy of resolving the local pressure coefficient and global integrated force coefficients for smooth subsonic and non-smooth transonic flows with moving shock waves on a pitching airfoil. For smooth sub-sonic flows, the Fourier TSM method offers a significant accuracy advantage over the BDF method for the predic-tion of both the local pressure coefficient and integrated force coefficients. For transonic flows where the motion of the discontinuous shock wave contributes significant higher-order harmonic contents to the local pressure fluctuations, a sufficient number of modes must be included before the Fourier TSM provides an advantage over the BDF method. The Fourier TSM, however, still offers better accuracy than the BDF method for integrated force coefficients even for transonic flows. A problem of non-symmetric solutions for symmetric periodic flows due to the use of odd numbers of intervals is uncovered and analyzed. A frequency-searching method is proposed for problems where the frequency is not known a priori. The method is tested on the vortex shedding problem of the flow over a circular cylinder.  相似文献

对几何守恒律的来源进行了分析,发展了一种满足几何守恒律的WENO格式,并应用于翼型层流分离现象的数值模拟中。为消除网格质量影响,采用守恒型方法计算网格导数,并将标准的WENO格式分解为中心差分部分和数值耗散部分。算例计算结果表明,几何守恒律对高精度有限差分WENO格式计算结果具有重要影响,本文方法能够消除网格导数计算误差,保证来流保持性。将本文方法应用于SD7003翼型层流分离现象的数值模拟中,计算结果与文献中计算及试验数据吻合较好,同时能够精细捕捉小尺度流场结构,准确模拟翼型层流分离现象中的复杂流动过程。  相似文献

Recently, introducing a transition predicting model into the Reynolds averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) environment has been paid more and more attention. Langtry proposed a correlation-based transition model in 2006, which was built strictly on local variables. However, two core correlations in the model had not been published until 2009. In this paper, after considerable analyses and discussions of the mechanism of this transition model and a series of numerical validations in the skin friction coefficient of flat plate boundary layers, a new correlation based on free-stream turbulence intensity is developed, and the empirical correlation of the transition onset momentum thickness Reynold number aiming at the hypersonic transition is improved. Low-speed/transonic airfoils and a hypersonic double wedge fiat are tested to prove the reliability and practicability of this correlation.  相似文献

求解跨音速翼型的反设计问题时,传统的梯度型方法一般均为局部收敛. 为增大求解的收敛范围,依据同伦方法的思想,通过构造不动点同伦,将原问题的求解 转化为其同伦函数的求解,并依据拟Sigmoid函数调整同伦参数以提高计算效率,进而构造 出一种具有较高计算效率的大范围收敛反设计方法. 数值算例以RAE2822翼型的表面压力分 布为拟合目标,分别采用B样条方法, PARSEC方法及正交形函数方法等3种不同的 参数化方法,并分别以NACA0012, OAF139及VR15翼型为初始翼型进行迭代计 算. 计算结果证明,该方法适用于多种参数化方法,且具有较好的计算效率,从多 个不同的初始翼型出发,经较少次数迭代后, 均能与目标翼型很好地拟合,是一种高效的大范围收敛方法.  相似文献

基于Navier-Stokes方程的数值解,研究了一模型昆虫翼在小雷诺数(Re=100)下作非定常运动时的气动力特性.这些运动包括翼启动后的常速转动,快速加、减速转动,常速转动中快速上仰(模拟昆虫翼的上挥或下拍、翻转等运动).有如下结果在小雷诺数下,模型昆虫翼以大攻角(α=35°)作常速转动运动时,由于失速涡不脱落,可产生较大的升力系数.其机理是翼转动时,翼尖附近(该处线速度大)上翼面压强比翼根附近(该处线速度小)的小得多,因而存在展向压强梯度,同时存在着沿展向的离心力,此展向压强梯度和离心力导致的展向流动在失速涡的轴向方向,其可避免失速涡脱落.模型昆虫翼在快速加、减速转动和快速上仰运动中,虽然雷诺数小,但由于在短时间内产生了大涡量,也可产生十分大的气动力,例如在快速上仰运动中,升力系数可大于10.  相似文献

使用雷诺平均NS方程、采用Johnson-King紊流模型、嵌套网格和有限体积法研究大迎角下的多缝道的多段翼型绕流。利用嵌合体技术对组合每一部分生成高质量并适于高效求解的贴体网格;将J-K模型发展应用于计算缝道流动以及具有边界层、尾迹流交汇的复杂流动。以具有17%相对厚度的GAW-1翼型带30%襟翼翼型及一个三段翼型为例进行了计算,计算结果与实验结果吻合很好,证实该方法可以较好地预示多段翼型上的粘性绕流、多缝道流动与最大升力。  相似文献

对二维沉浮振荡NACA0012翼型周围流场进行了数值模拟,通过改变非正弦参数K实现了不同的非正弦振型,由此分析了非正弦振型对推力产生的影响。结果表明:非正弦振型主要通过影响瞬时推力系数、最大推力系数和流场结构来影响沉浮翼型推力的产生;较正弦沉浮振动,K大于0时对应的振型可以增加平均推力系数,在一定沉浮频率和幅度下,平均推力系数随K的增加而增大,推进效率随K的增加而降低;振型对流场涡结构有明显的影响,随着K增大,翼型尾缘产生更强的反卡门涡街,从而引起推力系数增大,但K增大会使前缘分离更加严重,导致推进效率降低。  相似文献
