Mn-site doping induced CMR properties in calcium rich manganites Pr1‒xCaxMnO3(0.6 ≤ x ≤ 0.7)

Doping of Mn-site by chromium, cobalt and nickel has been investigated in the calcium rich manganites and . Whatever the nature of the doping element, a rapid disappearance of the charge ordered (CO) state is observed, decreasing as the doping rate increases. But the most important result concerns the Cr-doped compounds for which a re-entrant insulator to metal transition at 90-120 K is observed for x =0.10-0.12, in a zero magnetic field. The possibility to induce colossal magnetoresistance (CMR) properties for high (IV) contents ((IV)/) for x =0.07-0.12 is shown for the first time, the resistance ratios reaching at 30 K. This study also shows differently that the small size of the A-site cation (Pr, Ca) is not a redhibitory obstacle to the appearance of CMR properties in manganites, in contrast with previously established phase diagrams. Slowing down in the three-dimensional three-state Potts glass with nearest neighbor exchange ± J: A Monte Carlo study

,Static and dynamic properties of the Potts model on the simple cubic lattice with nearest neighbor -interaction are obtained from Monte Carlo simulations in a temperature range where full thermal equilibrium still can be achieved (). For a lattice size L = 16, in this range finite size effects are still negligible, but the data for the spin glass susceptibility agree with previous extrapolations based on finite size scaling of very small lattices. While the static properties are compatible with a zero temperature transition, they certainly do not prove it. Unlike the Ising spin glass, the decay of the time-dependent order parameter is compatible with a simple Kohlrausch function, , while a power law prefactor cannot be distinguished. The Kohlrausch exponent y ( T ) decreases from at [0pt] to at [0pt] however. The relaxation time is compatible with the exponential divergence postulated by McMillan for spin glasses at their lower critical dimension, but the exponent that can be extracted still differs significantly from the theoretical value, . Thus the present results support the conclusion that the Potts spin glass in d = 3 dimensions differs qualitatively from the Ising spin glass. Rheological behaviour and shear thickening exhibited by aqueous CTAB micellar solutions

In this experimental work we carefully investigate the rheological behaviour and in particular the shear thickening exhibited by aqueous micellar solutions of CTAB with NaSal as added counterion. We are particularly interested in the evolution of the critical shear rate (at which shear thickening occurs) versus C _D , the surfactant concentration. We show that , at fixed salt concentration C _S , increases with C _D following a power law evolution with a positive exponent of + 5.8. On the other hand we show that if the ratio C _D / C _S is fixed, decreases with C _D with a negative exponent of -2.0. Nevertheless investigations of the zero shear viscosity indicate that in all situations (implying variation of the surfactant concentration C _D , or the salt concentration C _S or the temperature) is a decreasing function of the length of the micelles. All these evolutions are compatible with a gelation mechanism which could possibly be associated with entanglement effects of large interacting flowing structures. Magnetic order in LaEuSrCuO studied [2pt] by Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy

⁵⁷Fe M?ssbauer effect studies of La_1.65Eu_0.20Sr_0.15CuO₄ doped with 0.5 at% ⁵⁷Fe performed in the temperature region 300 K > T > 4.2 K give an onset temperature for magnetic ordering of K. This temperature practically is the same as that found in Nd doped La_2-xSr_xCuO₄. It indicates that the magnetic ordering temperature in the LTT phase of rare earth (RE) doped La_2-xSr_xCuO₄ is independent of the RE moment. The direction of the ⁵⁷Fe magnetic moment in the magnetically ordered state is within the CuO₂ plane, while it has been found to be parallel to the c-axis in Nd doped La_2-xSr_xCuO₄. “String” formulation of the dynamics of the forward interest rate curve

We propose a formulation of the term structure of interest rates in which the forward curve is seen as the deformation of a string. We derive the general condition that the partial differential equations governing the motion of such string must obey in order to account for the condition of absence of arbitrage opportunities. This condition takes a form similar to a fluctuation-dissipation theorem, albeit on the same quantity (the forward rate), linking the bias to the covariance of variation fluctuations. We provide the general structure of the models that obey this constraint in the framework of stochastic partial (possibly non-linear) differential equations. We derive the general solution for the pricing and hedging of interest rate derivatives within this framework, albeit for the linear case (we also provide in the appendix a simple and intuitive derivation of the standard European option problem). We also show how the “string” formulation simplifies into a standard N-factor model under a Galerkin approximation. The Essential Component of the Solution Set for Vector Equilibrium Problems

In the paper, by using Ky Fan’s section theorem, we obtain an existence theorem for vector equilibrium problems. Motivated by the ideas of Kinoshita and McLennan, we introduce the concept of the essential component of the solution set for vector equilibrium problems, and we prove that there exists at least one essential component of the solution set for every vector equilibrium problem satisfying some conditions. 乌骨鸡磷脂侧链脂肪酸的GC-MS分析

用氯仿:甲醇(2:1)超声提取乌骨鸡总磷脂,丙酮脱油精制后,经皂化、甲酯化处理,应用GC-MS联用技术对其侧链脂肪酸组成进行分析,并以面积归一法,计算各脂肪酸的相对百分含量.结果显示,乌骨鸡总磷脂中含有硬脂酸27.46%、花生四烯酸21.39%、油酸18.22%、亚油酸16.67%、棕榈酸12.13%、二十二碳六烯酸(DHA) 2.26%、二十碳三烯酸1.71%、棕榈油酸0.16%.不饱和脂肪酸和多不饱和脂肪酸的含量分别为60.41%和42.03%.乌骨鸡磷脂侧链脂肪酸中高比例的多不饱和脂肪酸和花生四烯酸含量是乌骨鸡磷脂的显著特征.
