Valuation Extensions of Filtered and Graded Algebras

In this note we relate the valuations of the algebras appearing in the noncommutative geometry of quantized algebras to properties of sublattices in some vector spaces. We consider the case of algebras with PBW-bases and prove that under some mild assumptions, the valuations of the ground field extend to a noncommutative valuation. Later we introduce the notion of F-reductor and graded reductor and reduce the problem of finding an extending noncommutative valuation to finding a reductor in an associated graded ring having a domain for its reduction.     

Valuation Domains Whose Products of Free Modules Are Separable

It is proved that if R is a valuation domain with maximal ideal P and if R _L is countably generated for each prime ideal L, then R ^R is separable if and only R _J is maximal, where J = ∩ _n∈? P ⁿ .     

基于层次分析法与加权叠加分析模型的攀西地区钒钛磁铁矿开发利用评价

在对攀西地区钒钛磁铁矿资源开发利用现状进行调查研究的基础上,建立了由目标层、中间层、指标层构成的3层评价指标体系;运用层次分析法确定各评价指标的权重,并采用加权叠加分析模型计算评价指数,对攀西地区各矿区钒钛磁铁矿资源的开发利用情况进行评价。评价指数越大,钒钛磁铁矿资源的开发利用程度越高。评价结果较好地体现了攀西地区各矿区对钒钛磁铁矿资源的开发利用程度。     

Irredundant intersections of valuation overrings of two-dimensional Noetherian domains

Let D be a two-dimensional Noetherian domain, let R be an overring of D, and let Σ and Γ be collections of valuation overrings of D. We consider circumstances under which (_VΣV)∩R=(_WΓW)∩R implies that Σ=Γ. We show that if R is integrally closed, these representations are “strongly” irredundant, and every member of ΣΓ has Krull dimension 2, then Σ=Γ. If in addition Σ and Γ are Noetherian subspaces of the Zariski–Riemann space of the quotient field of D (e.g. if Σ and Γ have finite character), then the restriction that the members of ΣΓ have Krull dimension 2 can be omitted. An example shows that these results do not extend to overrings of three-dimensional Noetherian domains.

The lattice of embedded subsets

In cooperative game theory, games in partition function form are real-valued function on the set of the so-called embedded coalitions, that is, pairs (S,π) where S is a subset (coalition) of the set N of players, and π is a partition of N containing S. Despite the fact that many studies have been devoted to such games, surprisingly nobody clearly defined a structure (i.e., an order) on embedded coalitions, resulting in scattered and divergent works, lacking unification and proper analysis. The aim of the paper is to fill this gap, thus to study the structure of embedded coalitions (called here embedded subsets), and the properties of games in partition function form.     

Blowing-ups and valuations on surfaces

In this paper, we show that all the nontrivial valuations on surfaces can be given by the infinite sequences of blowing-ups, and give the process of blowing-ups.     

Valuation formulae for window barrier options

In this paper we study window barrier options, where a single constant continuously-monitored barrier prevails for a period that commences strictly after the start date of the option and terminates strictly before expiry. We determine valuation formulae within a limited deterministic term-structure in terms of trivariate normal distribution functions. These formulae offer a generalization of the valuation formulae for partial barrier options given by Heynan and Kat.
