The choice of electrode material and surface preparation method are usually dictated by the suitability of the electrode to observe an electrochemical parameter, such as heterogeneous electron transfer rate, surface coverage, or redox potential. Thus, the glassy carbon (GC) and platinum (Pt) electrodes were modified with multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) by direct “casting” modification using nine different aliquots of solvents. After drying at room temperature, the modified electrode showed distinct redox peaks corresponding to ferrocyanide oxidation/reduction. Using chemometrics, the cyclic voltammograms with higher current intensity were obtained for those in which ethanol, water and acetone as dispersing agents were used for GCE and dimethylformamide, water and acetone for Pt electrode modification.  相似文献

The need for reliable surface analyses together with quality‐management requirements for analytical laboratories led the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to form its Technical Committee (TC) 201 on Surface Chemical Analysis in 1991. This article describes the organization of TC 201, the strategies that have been found useful for identifying and assessing possible projects for new international standards, and the 57 international standards and other documents prepared to date by TC 201. Standards have now been developed for Auger‐electron spectroscopy, glow‐discharge spectroscopy, various types of scanning probe microscopy, secondary‐ion mass spectrometry, sputter‐depth profiling, total‐reflection X‐ray fluorescence spectroscopy, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and X‐ray reflectometry. In addition, standards have been developed with definitions of terms used in surface chemical analysis; the handling, preparation of specimens for surface analysis; information and data‐transfer formats; and methods for determining the lateral resolution of beam‐based methods of surface analysis. Water‐soluble poly(ethylene glycol) derivatives with multiple “clickable” mercapto groups or double bonds were facilely synthesized in a large scale by direct polycondensation of oligo(ethylene glycol) diol with mercaptosuccinic acid or maleic acid catalyzed by scandium trifluoromethanesulfonate under mild conditions. Injectable hydrogels containing doxorubicin hydrochloride (DOX · HCl) could be rapidly formed using these poly(ethylene glycol) derivatives as precursors via in situ thiol‐ene “click” reaction under physiological conditions without light, initiator, or metal catalyst. DOX · HCl could be sustained released from the hydrogels as a result of the hindrance of the three dimensional hydrogel network on the drug molecules, which makes this kind of DOX‐loaded hydrogels a promising candidate for localized tumor chemotherapy. The knowledge of response times of active material is essential for their efficient use as actuators. In this paper the heating and cooling times of a shape memory alloy wire (NiTi) under a constant load are predicted by the integration of the corresponding heat equation. The comparison with a ‘fictitious’ material with the same material characteristics but without phase transformation shows that the response times are longer for the SMA (around 2.7 times for heating and 1.5 times for cooling). We propose a new approach for the discretization of diffusive flux on a non orthogonal mesh based on the Deferred correction introduced by Peric. This new method is applied successfully to the solution of a Poisson problem in quadrangular domains meshed with very distorted control volumes. The interest of this approach lies in the fact that the precision of the used schemes is conserved despite meshes distortion level. The comparative study of the value of the spectral radius of iteration matrix enables us to explain why our Deferred correction approach is better than that of Peric, which diverges on highly skewed meshes. The nonlinear problem for propagation of wave-packets along the interface of two semi-infinite fluids is solved on the basis of multiple scale asymptotic expansions. Unlike all previous investigations dealing only with third-order approximations, here fourth-order approximation is developed. The corresponding solvability condition is obtained and the evolution equation in the case away from the cut-off wave number is derived. As a result, the nonlinear higher-order Schrödinger equation is obtained which contains the nonlinear part in a compact form. This equation is valid for a wide range of wave numbers. Within an averaging approach, the governing equations and effective boundary conditions describing both the average and pulsation motion of a near-critical fluid subjected to high-frequency vibrations are obtained. Vibrations induce the non-homogeneities in average temperature. Owing to these non-homogeneities, the average flows can be generated even in isothermal cavity under weightlessness. These flows are examined for 1D and 2D configurations. The direct numerical simulations fulfilled earlier confirm the averaged model, we obtain the same flow structures by essentially smaller requirements for computational time. In this paper, a differentially heated square/cubic cavity is studied by performing three-dimensional direct numerical simulations. The first bifurcation observed at Ra≈3.2×107 is due to the 3D vortex structures generated at the end regions of vertical boundary layers near the median plane. The main results of this Note are that the flow returns to a steady state for higher values of the Rayleigh number Ra (7×107 and 108 for example) still exhibiting these 3D vortex structures, and that multiple steady flows which differ by their symmetry properties, are obtained for Ra=108. However, the flow reverts to unsteadiness for Ra=3×108. In this latter case, the instability is due to the vertical boundary layers. To cite this article: G. de Gassowski et al., C. R.
