The voltammetric behaviour of smooth palladium electrodes in 1 M NaOH is studied in the potential range related to the thermodynamic stability of water. The electrosorption of H atoms on bulk Pd appears as a reversible reaction coupled to a diffusion process which occurs within bulk Pd. The voltammetric electrodesorption of H from bulk Pd is a process under mixed control, i.e. the diffusion from the bulk and the surface oxidation of H atoms. Fast pseudocapacitive reactions are detected in the range 0.2–0.4 V associated with the adsorption of H atoms at the submonolayer level. The initial stages of Pd oxide layer formation, at ca. 0.68 V, involves two reversible stages. The Pd oxide monolayer formation is achieved at 1.25 V/RHE and is followed by the formation of a third reversible system. This system is enhanced by an excursion in the potential range of the oxygen evolution reaction. This reversible system is probably a redox system involving Pd(II)/Pd(IV) species. The voltammetric electroreduction of the Pd oxide film shows rather irreversible behaviour. Inhibition effects on the reversible adsorption of H atoms due to residual oxide species were observed as well as inhibition on loading the Pd electrode with hydrogen to form the (α + β)-PdH phase. Rotating ring-disc experiments demonstrate that Pd electrodissolution in basic solutions is much smaller than in acid solutions. However, soluble palladium species are detected, especially during the formation of the fast redox systems, in the potential range related to Pd oxide layer growth.  相似文献

Summary The chromatographic mobility of 21H, 23H-porphine and its Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) and Pd(II) complexes were investigated by high-performance thin-layer chromatography on an octadecyl-bonded, silica gel plate with various polar organic solvents including alcohols, acetonitrile, dimethylsulfoxide and propylenecarbonate. The mobility generally decreases according to the central metal ion of the complex as follows: Zn(II)>(free porphine)>Ni(II)>Pd(II)>Cu(II). Methanol is a good choice of solvent for the separation of these metal porphine complexes. Successful separation of porphine and the four metal complexes is accomplished within 13 min on a LiChrosorb RP-18 column with methanol eluent.  相似文献

A systematic study of formation of surface patterns in block copolymer thin layers after their exposure to solvent vapors was performed. The studied effect involves layers of thickness approximately equal to the ordering size of polymers - about 45 nm. Experiments were performed on three styrene - methacrylate derivative block copolymers, synthesized by living anionic polymerization: poly(4-octylstyrene)-block-poly(butyl methacrylate), poly(4-fluorostyrene)-block-poly(butyl methacrylate) and poly(p-octylstyrene)-block-poly(methyl methacrylate). The polymers were exposed to vapors of chloroform, 1,4-dioxane, hexane, acetone and tetrahydrofuran.  相似文献

Investigation of RuO2-IrO2-SnO2 thin film evolution   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
The thermal evolution process of RuO2–IrO2–SnO2 mixed oxide thin films of varying noble metal contents has been investigated under in situ conditions by thermogravimetry-mass spectrometry (TG-MS), infrared emission spectroscopy (IR) and cyclic voltammetry (CV). The gel-like films prepared from aqueous solutions of the precursor compounds RuOHCl3, H2IrCl6 and Sn(OH)2(CH3COO)2–xClx on titanium metal support were heated in an atmosphere containing 20% O2 and 80% Ar up to 600°C. Chlorine evolution takes place in a single step between 320 and 500°C accompanied with the decomposition of the acetate ligand. The decomposition of surface species formed like carbonyls, carboxylates and carbonates occurs in two stages between 200 and 500°C. The temperature of chlorine evolution and that of the final film formation increases with the increase of the iridium content in the films. The anodic peak charge shows a maximum value at 18% iridium content.  相似文献

Electrochemical properties of Fc‐PEM films have been studied by changing the chemical structure of the polymer chains and the content of Fc moiety in the film systematically. We have prepared a series of PEM films by a layer‐by‐layer deposition of polycations, Fc‐modified poly(allylamine) (Fc‐PAA) and poly(ethyleneimine) (Fc‐PEI), and polyanionic poly(vinyl sulfate) (PVS) on the surface of a gold electrode. The redox properties of the Fc‐PAA/PVS and Fc‐PEI/PVS films depended significantly on the content of Fc moiety in the polymer chains and on the polymer type. Fc‐ PAA and Fc‐PEI polymer chains can penetrate 3 or 4 PAA/PVS bilayers inserted between the redox polymers and electrode. The Fc‐PAA film‐modified electrode can be used for electrocatalytic oxidation of ascorbic acid.  相似文献

采用反胶束法制备TiO2纳米溶胶,用浸渍提拉法在不同的条件下制备了三种TiO2多孔纳米薄膜,并利用AFM、SEM、XRD等方法对膜表面结构物理化学特性进行表征.结果表明三种膜基本上由粒径约为59 nm的纳米粒子以不同的方式堆积而成,溶胶刚生成时浸提一次,干燥、焙烧得到膜上纳米粒子分布均匀,所生成的二次粒子粒径最小,二次粒子形成的二次表面粗糙度最小,浸提10次得到膜上纳米粒子间存在较丰富缝隙结构,二次粒子粒径及其形成的表面粗糙度较大,而溶胶制备好陈化6 h后浸提得到的膜上二次粒子粒径最大,表面粗糙度最高.由分形理论估算得到三种膜的分形维数分别是2.22、2.20和2.27. XRD测试表明,膜上TiO2为锐钛矿晶相.这些结果表明,采用不同制备步骤得到的膜,其表面结构形态存在较大的差异.  相似文献

FTIR-RAIRS and ATR techniques are shown to provide a powerful means of investigating the molecular behaviour responsible for the pyroelectric properties of organic monolayer assemblies on silicon and aluminised glass. Spectral changes, associated with either proton transfer or head group rearrangement, are well correlated with the level of pyroelectric response for two different devices. The technique promises to be extremely important for the elucidation of the microscopic properties of molecular electronic devices.  相似文献

Recent observations of remarkably large chiroptical effects in second-harmonic generation (SHG) and sum-frequency generation (SFG) measurements suggest exciting possibilities for the development of new chiral-specific spectroscopies and novel chiral materials for nonlinear optics. Several fundamental studies designed to elucidate the molecular and macromolecular origins of the chiral responses are reviewed to provide a framework for development of this emerging field. In general, the chiral activity in SHG and SFG has the potential to arise from complex interactions between hosts of different competing effects. Fortunately, relatively simple electric dipole-allowed mechanisms routinely dominate the nonlinear optical chiral activities of most practical systemsexpressions can often be generated to link the. This substantial reduction in complexity allows for the development of simple models connecting the macroscopic nonlinear optical response to intuitive molecular and supramolecular properties.  相似文献

用恒电位电流衰减法及激光扫描光电化学显微技术研究了在于PH=12.5及13.8的模拟混凝土孔溶液中钢筋钝化化膜的生长动力学及相应的破坏过程,实验结果表明,钢筋钝化膜的生长过程存在两个主要阶段,各阶段膜厚均与生长时间存在正比对数关系,但当t<30秒和t>30秒时,膜的生长表出出不同的动力学特征,在钝化发生点蚀前,钝化膜的微区光电流一定的预兆,腐蚀抑制剂NaNO2影响膜的生长过程及膜厚,能提高钢筋的抗  相似文献
