An optical surface plasmon resonance biosensor for determination of tetanus toxin

Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) has been successfully applied for the simple, rapid, and label-free assay of various biomolecules. This assay evaluates a novel wavelength modulation SPR biosensor for the detection of tetanus toxin. The wavelength modulation SPR biosensor is designed based on fixing the incident angle of light and measuring the reflected intensities in the resonance wavelength range spanning 400-800 nm simultaneously. Tetanus toxin (TeNT), one of the most potent toxins known, is synthesized as a 150 kDa single polypeptide chain. The SPR biosensor has been shown to be capable of directly detecting concentration of tetanus toxin as low as 0.028 Lf ml⁻¹. Under selected experimental conditions, the SPR biosensor has a good reproducibility, sensitivity and reversibility. The results illustrate how wavelength modulation SPR biosensor can be used to detect biomolecular interactions.     

Use of thermomagnetometry in the study of iron-containing pyrotechnic systems

Thermal analysis is routinely used to characterize pyrotechnic fuels, oxidants and fuel/oxidant mixtures [1]. Thermomagnetometry (TM) can provide additional information if the magnetic properties of the materials change during reaction. TG, TM and DTA results for the iron/potassium permanganate, iron/barium peroxide, and iron/strontium peroxide systems as loose powders or pressed pellets indicate predominantly solid-gas mechanisms for reactions in these systems.     

Kinetics of the thermal dehydrations and decompositions of some mixed metal oxalates

Both isothermal and programmed temperature experiments have been used to obtain kinetic parameters for the dehydrations and the decompositions in nitrogen of the mixed metal oxalates: FeCu(ox)₂·3H₂O, CoCu(ox)₂·3H₂O and NiCu(ox)₂·3.5H₂O, [ox=C₂O₄]. Results are compared with those reported for the thermal decompositions of the individual metal oxalates, Cuox, Coox·2H₂O, Niox·2H₂O and Feox·2H₂O. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) was also used to examinee the individual and the mixed oxalates. Dehydrations of the mixed oxalates were mainly deceleratory processes with activation energies (80 to 90 kJ·mol⁻¹), similar to those reported for the individual hydrated oxalates. Temperature ranges for dehydration were broadly similar for all the hydrates studied here (130 to 180°C). Decompositions of the mixed oxalates were all complex endothermic processes with no obvious resemblance to the exothermic reaction of Cuox, or the reactions of physical mixtures of the corresponding individual oxalates. The order of decreasing stability, as indicated by the temperature ranges giving comparable decomposition rates, was NiCu(ox)₂>CoCu(ox)₂>FeCu(ox)₂, which also corresponds to the order of increasing covalency of the Cu−O bonds as shown by XPS. 花背蟾蜍体外跌卵及采用跌卵作为细胞核移植受体的尝试

采用体外跌卵的方法，对花背蟾蜍卵子的体外成熟过程进行了形态学及细胞学检查，并对利用体外跌卵作为细胞核移植受体进行了初步的尝试．结果表明，体外跌卵与活体卵子的离巢及成熟过程基本一致；采用体外跌卵作为移核受体，得到了发育至游泳期的蝌蚪，但发育的百分比低于对照组．     

简单内置式低压降线性稳压器设计与分析

设计了一种高精度、宽输入电压范围LDO线性稳压器。电路采用0.6μm BCD高压工艺,所需版图面积小,可内置在功率放大器等系统级芯片中作为内部电源使用。与传统方法相比,该电路在频率补偿、输出瞬态响应等关键指标参数上有所改进,输出级作为内部供电电源所需具备的稳定性精度为±1.2%,最大输出负载电流为30mA。     

基于TM遥感影像的福州景观生态格局分析

基于遥感、地理信息系统和景观生态学研究方法，以福州市为研究区域。对2003年的TM遥感影像图进行目视判读，得到的福州市土地利用现状图．应用FRAGSTATS软件计算福州市各景观格局指标，结果表明：研究区内景观类型以林地为主，建设用地次之，最小的为未利用地．从景观尺度上看，多样性指数较高，各种景观类型分布比较均匀；从景观类型尺度上看，斑块形状复杂程度中等，但形状大小差异较大，分离度指数比较高，表明福州市2003年间各景观类型在研究区内分布较为分散．

The low temperature thermal properties of potassium tantalate niobate crystal

The thermal properties of KTN crystal were investigated at low temperatures by DSC and TM. The phase transition enthalpies and the average specific heats of the crystal were measured. Results are analyzed and discussed.     

圆波导TM01-矩形波导TE10模式转换器

设计了一种高功率圆波导TM01-矩形波导TM10模式转换器,可以实现圆波导TM01模式与矩形波导TM10模式之间的相互转换。仿真结果表明：中心频率为9.7 GHz时该模式转换器转换效率大于99.99%,回波损耗小于-40 dB,转换效率大于90%时的带宽大于0.4 GHz。调节底面短路圆波导长度可以实现模式转换器在9.2~10.1 GHz范围内调谐(模式转换效率大于99%)。在圆波导和耦合段连接处引入倒角可有效降低场强,提高功率容量,注入功率0.7 GW,其表面场强小于1 MV/cm。     

Second-order bragg interaction in double grating couplers: TM mode

An analytical treatment of the second-order Bragg interaction is presented for the transverse magnetic mode of a dielectric film waveguide having gratings on both the film-cover and the film-substrate interfaces. Four canonical equations that describe the interactions of two guided waves propagating in the opposite directions in the film and the normally incident and radiated free waves in the cover and the substrate are deduced.
