Airy beams and triple-cusp beams are two kinds of accelerating beams. The propagation characteristics and internal topological structures of accelerating Airy beams are well understood because of the developed mathematical theory about Airy function. However, limited information is available about the optical characteristics of accelerating triple-cusp beams. In this work, the relationship between Airy beams and triple-cusp beams is examined theoretically and experimentally. Results reveal some important optical characteristics of triple-cusp beams based on the optical characteristics of Airy beams. Microstructure defects play a very important role in the swelling of irradiated stainless steel. This work is a parametric study of the effects of microstructural defects on the swelling of ion-irradiated steel. For simplicity, vacancy loop effects were neglected. Cold working was found to play a complicated role in the swelling behavior. On one hand, it increase the bias to interstitial absorption due to the increase in dislocation density. On the other hand, it decreases the total flux of point defects to voids by the decrease of the point defect concentrations. Grain size has also a strong effect on swelling. It was found that large gain sizes produces higher swelling and vise versa, i.e. the larger the surface of grain boundaries the less the irradiation-produced swelling. 为了提高波纹夹芯结构作为高铁车厢或油罐车罐体容器外壳在面内压缩载荷下的结构稳定性,提出了在波纹芯体空隙中填充聚酯泡沫的设想,理论研究了泡沫填充波纹夹芯梁的面内压缩破坏行为,同时对面内压缩破坏进行了数值有限元验证。泡沫填充波纹夹芯梁面内压缩下的主要破坏模式为宏观弹塑性屈曲、面板弹塑性起皱2种模式。结合宏观尺度上芯体的均匀化等效弹性常数,建立宏观屈曲破坏的理论模型;将泡沫等效为Winkler弹性基,建立面板起皱破坏的理论模型。对304不锈钢波纹夹芯板和Rohacell 51泡沫填充材料,构建结构的破坏模式图,有限元计算结果从破坏模式和临界载荷2个方面验证了理论预测的可靠性。在此基础上,对泡沫填充波纹夹芯结构进行质量最小优化设计,获得结构的最优化几何尺寸。综合考虑承载、能量吸收、减振、隔热等多功能特性,相较于空心波纹夹芯结构和金字塔点阵夹芯结构,泡沫填充波纹复合结构具有潜在的重要工程应用价值。 相似文献

Insulator pipe, electron reflecting mirrors and loose controlling enable a high-energy beam to be confined effectively along a polygonal, closed, short path. We compressed water to megabar pressures by laser-driven shock waves and evidenced transparent, opaque and reflecting phases as pressure increases. The refraction index of water in the first two states was measured using a VISAR system. At high compression a sharp increase of the real and imaginary part of the refraction index is observed. Using scanning tunneling microscopy (STM), molecular‐beam (MB) methods and time‐resolved infrared reflection absorption spectroscopy (TR‐IRAS), we investigate the mechanism of initial NOx uptake on a model nitrogen storage and reduction (NSR) catalyst. The model system is prepared by co‐deposition of Pd metal particles and Ba‐containing oxide particles onto an ordered alumina film on NiAl(110). We show that the metal–oxide interaction between the active noble metal particles and the NOx storage compound in NSR model catalysts plays an important role in the reaction mechanism. We suggest that strong interaction facilitates reverse spillover of activated oxygen species from the NOx storage compound to the metal. This process leads to partial oxidation of the metal nanoparticles and simultaneous stabilization of the surface nitrite intermediate. 相似文献

An efficient scheme, called quasi-linearization finite differences, is developed for large-deflection analysis of prismatic
and non-prismatic slender cantilever beams subjected to various types of continuous and discontinuous external variable distributed
and concentrated loads in horizontal and vertical global directions. Simultaneous equations of highly nonlinear and linear
terms are obtained when casting the derived exact highly nonlinear governing differential equation using central finite differences
on the nodes along the beam. A quasi-linearization scheme is used to solve these equations based on successive corrections
of the nonlinear terms in the simultaneous equations. The nonlinear terms in the simultaneous equations are assumed constant
during each correction (iteration). Several representative numerical examples of prismatic and non-prismatic slender cantilever
beams with different loading conditions are analyzed to illustrate the merits of the adopted numerical scheme as well as its
validity, accuracy and efficiency. The results of the present scheme are checked using large-displacement finite element analysis
by the MSC/NASTRAN program. A comparison between the present secheme, MSC/NASTRAN and available results from the literature
reveals excellent agreement. The advantage of the new scheme is that the load can be applied in one step with few iterations

通过12根碳纤维布与钢板复合加固钢筋混凝土梁的抗弯性能研究,结果表明复合加固方式能有效地改善被加固构件的受力性能,但常由于复合加固层的剥离可能导致加固效果的降低。复合加固层与被加固构件之间的剥离是由于薄弱截面在剪应力及正应力的集中作用下而产生的,文中对复合加固层与混凝土之间的粘结剪应力及剥离正应力的计算公式分别进行推导,并进一步对碳纤维布与钢板复合加固的剥离机理进行分析,为工程应用提供依据。 相似文献
