We report the temperature dependence of electrical resistance (R) and thermopower (S) of clathrate Cs8Sn44 under high pressure up to 1.2 GPa. We observe a reversible gap widening, prominent relaxation effect of R, irreversible increase of |S| under high pressure. We also find that the power factor S2σ (σ: electrical conductivity) reaches a maximum at pressure of 0.3 GPa. Comparison of the experimental results with band structure calculations suggests that the intrinsic vacancy in the clathrate structure of Cs8Sn44 plays an important role in transport properties under high pressure. Measurements on Cs8Zn4Sn42, a clathrate which has defects other than vacancies, are compared with Cs8Sn44. The results indicate that replacing Sn by Zn has similar effect as the intrinsic vacancy on S. 相似文献

A simple model has been developed to describe the Zeeman patterns of far-infrared laser magnetic resonance spectra of the monobromomethyl radical CH2Br observed at 447.3 and 671.1μm. A satisfactory agreement between the experimental spectra of the radical and their simulation with this simple model has been achieved. Tuneable diode laser absorption spectroscopy has been used to measure the room temperature pressure broadening coefficients (γ) of rotational transitions in the v5 fundamental band of methyl bromide (12CH379Br and 12CH381Br) around 6.9 μm. Nitrogen, oxygen and self-broadening coefficients have been determined for 125 lines in the RQ1, PQ3, PQ5, PQ7 and PQ8 branches and 49 P and R branch transitions. Line profiles within Q branches were recorded at incremental pressures of nitrogen and oxygen up to 15 Torr and fitted to a Voigt profile to yield the broadening coefficients. The nitrogen broadened data for 14 lines, chosen from the five Q branches, were also fitted with Galatry profiles. The line profiles of the P and R branch transitions were recorded for total nitrogen and oxygen pressures of up to 300 Torr and fitted to both Voigt and Galatry profiles. Within individual Q branches, nitrogen broadening coefficients were found to decrease monotonically with increasing J from 0.14 cm−1 atm−1 at low J to 0.09 cm−1 atm−1 at high J. The corresponding values for oxygen were approximately 25% smaller. Self-broadening coefficients were found to vary between 0.48 and 0.16 cm−1 atm−1 with a similar J dependence to the foreign gas broadening for J > 20. However, between J = 2 and J ≈ 20 the broadening coefficient was found to increase with J. The magnitude of the pressure broadening coefficient for P and R branch transitions was found to closely follow the J dependence measured for the Q branch lines. 相似文献

In this work, total internal reflection synchronous fluorescence spectroscopy (TIRSF) is applied successfully to investigate
rhodamine 6G (R6G) at the silica/water interface. In comparison with the bulk spectra, 5 nm red shift is observed in the interface
spectra, which is mainly due to the limitation of freedom of rotational movement of R6G molecules at the interface. The increase
of R6G concentration induces the self-quenching of adsorbate at the interface. The dependence of interfacial fluorescence
on the acidity and ionic strength was studied. Both the acidity and ionic strength affect the adsorptive behaviors of R6G

A non-abelian phase space, or a phase space of a Lie algebra, is a generalization of the usual (abelian) phase space of a vector space. It corresponds to a para-Kähler structure in geometry. Its structure can be interpreted in terms of left-symmetric algebras. In particular, a solution of an algebraic equation in a left-symmetric algebra which is an analogue of classical Yang–Baxter equation in a Lie algebra can induce a phase space. In this paper, we find that such phase spaces have a symplectically isomorphic property. We also give all such phase spaces in dimension 4 and some examples in dimension 6.
