Poly(amidoamine) dendrimers grafted on carbon nanotubes have been appended with iron(II)-α-keto acid (benzoylformate) complex of polypyridyl ligand to design artificial non-heme oxygenase model. This nano-enzyme was applied for selective catalytic oxidation of organic molecules. Although the carbon nanotubes serve as a robust heterogeneous platform, the amine terminals of dendrimers provide catalysts binding sites and the amide bonds provide a necessary second coordination sphere similar to the enzymatic polypeptide chains. Such a hybrid design prevented the deactivation of the primary active sites leading to 8 times faster oxidative decarboxylation rates than those of its homogeneous analogue. An electrophilic iron(IV)-oxo intermediate has been intercepted, which catalyzes the selective oxidation of alcohols to aldehydes and incorporates single oxygen atoms into sulfides and olefins by using aerial oxygen with multiple turnover numbers. The catalyst was consecutively regenerated three times by mild chemical treatment and showed negligible loss of activity. 相似文献

The starburst(PAMAM)dendrimer of generation 0 was reacted with pentaammine-triflato-chromium(III) and -cobalt(III). The products were separated by ion exchange chromatography and characterized by elemental analysis, UV-VIS-, IR-, 13C-spectroscopy or cyclic voltammetry. 8‐Hydroxy‐2′‐deoxyguanosine (8‐OHdG) detection by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with amperometric detection was studied using a Au electrode modified with different dendrimer based thin films. Gold electrode is thiol‐modified, forming self‐assembled monolayers on which different generation PAMAM dendrimers with terminal functional groups ? COOH and ? NH2 have been attached using peptidic bonds. Results obtained in synthetic samples show low limits of detection and quantification for 8‐OHdG (1.2×10?9 and 3.7×10?9 M respectively), with matrix interference elimination, thus avoiding sample pretreatment. Best results are obtained with electrodes modified with aliphatic amino thiols and 3.5 and 4.5 generation carboxylated dendrimers (Au/AET/DG3.5 and Au/AET/DG4.5), demonstrating that these materials constitute a good alternative for 8‐OHdG determination in biological fluids. 相似文献

The interactions between three types of polyamidoamine dendrimers (with anionic, cationic, and neutral charge on a surface) and fluorescent dye 1-anilinonaphthalene-8-sulfonate (ANS) were studied. Double fluorimetric titration method was employed to estimate a binding constant and the number of binding centers. As fluorescent probes can serve as models of toxin molecules, dendrimers, and human serum albumin (HSA) abilities to bind ANS were compared. In the presence of HSA and dendrimers, ANS located both in HSA and in dendrimers, but the interactions between ANS and HSA were stronger. 相似文献
