The influence of the balance of dispersion and nonlinearity on the transmission quality in fiber

This article analyzes the effect of the balance of dispersion and nonlinearity on the quality of a transmission system with super Gauss pulse input by altering the input power and adding a section of dispersion compensation fiber (DCF). The same mechanisms are applied to a 2-channel wave divide multiplex system (WDM) as well. DCF is proved to be a good solution in both situations. I-模糊拓扑空间中的紧度

In this paper, the concept of degree of compactness is introduced in the general framework of I-fuzzy topological spaces, and its property is discussed. All good compactness are generalized to I-fuzzy topological spaces accordingly.     

The Hilbert problem: The case of infinitely many discontinuity points of coefficients

We obtain a solution to the Hilbert boundary value problem in the theory of analytic functions on the half-plane in the case that the coefficients of the boundary condition have countably many discontinuity points of the first kind. We elaborate the two substantially different situations: the series consisting of the jumps of the argument of the coefficient function and the increments of its continuous part converges and this series diverges. Accordingly, Hilbert problems with finite and infinite indices result. We derive formulas for the general solution and investigate the pictures of solvability of these problems.     

A Capelli type theorem for multiplicative convolutions of polynomials

We prove a Capelli type theorem on the canonical decomposition for multiplicative convolutions of polynomials. We derive then some irreducibility criteria for convolutions of polynomials in several variables over a given field. The irreducibility conditions are expressed only in terms of the degrees of the polynomials in convolution, the degrees of their coefficients, and the degrees of some suitable divisors of the resulting leading coefficient.
