This study describes the development of a multiresidue method based on gas chromatography-electron ionization-tandem mass spectrometry (GC-EI-MS/MS) for the detection of sixteen polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), five phthalate esters (PEs), seven polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), six polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs), six alkylphenols (APs), three organochlorined pesticides and their isomers or degradation products (OCPs) and bisphenol A in seawater, river water, wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) effluents, sediments and mussels. Solid phase extraction (SPE) was used for the extraction of target analytes in aqueous samples, and ultrasound assisted extraction for solid samples. GC-EI-MS/MS acquisition conditions in selected reaction monitoring (SRM) using two transitions per compound were optimized. In this way, quantification and unequivocal identification of organic micropollutants were performed in compliance with the Decision 2002/657/EC. Good linearity responses with coefficients of determination higher than 0.99 were obtained. Methodological detection limits (MDLs) in seawater ranged from 0.1 to 6 ng L(-1); in river water from 0.1 to 4.8 ng L(-1); in WWTP effluents from 1 to 75 ng L(-1); in sediments from 1 to 150 ng g(-1) and in mussels from 1 to 125 ng g(-1). MDLs and recovery yields were compared with other published methods and similarities or even improvements were achieved. The optimized method was applied to analyze five samples from each matrix collected in coastal areas, showing its potential use for marine pollution monitoring. 相似文献

Lateral flow devices (LFDs) are qualitative immunochromatographic tests for the rapid and specific detection of target analytes.
We investigated commercially available LFDs for their ability to detect potentially allergenic peanut and hazelnut in raw
cookie dough and chocolate, two important food matrices in the industrial production of cookies. Each three commercial LFDs
for the detection of hazelnut and peanut were performed according to the manufacturers’ instructions. All LFDs had comparably
satisfactory specificity that was investigated with a variety of characteristic foods and food ingredients used in the production
of cookies. In concordance with hazelnut-specific enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISAs), walnut was the most cross-reactive
food for hazelnut-specific LFD. The sensitivity was verified in raw cookie doughs and chocolates that were either spiked with
peanut or hazelnut between 1 and 25 mg/kg, respectively. Two hazelnut-specific LFDs detected hazelnut at a level of 3.5 mg/kg
in both matrices, whereas the third LFD detected hazelnut at a level of 3.9 mg/kg in dough and 12.5 mg/kg in chocolate. Two
peanut-specific LFDs detected peanut at a level of 1 mg/kg in both matrices. The third LFD detected peanut at a level of 14.2 mg/kg
in chocolate and 4 mg/kg in dough. In conclusion, specific and sensitive LFD were identified for each hazelnut and peanut,
having a level of sensitivity that is comparable to commercial ELISA for the investigated matrices. Such sensitive, specific,

A monitoring study was carried out in 1998-1999 on a medium-sized (c. 4580 km2) watershed of the Dyle (or Dijle) river in central Belgium, composed of both rural and urbanized areas. This watershed may be considered as representative of a large part of the country. Samples were taken each month from seven sites along the course of the river, plus one from its major affluent the Demer. The eight molecules monitored were the main herbicides used on the major crops in the area, plus some used in nonagricultural sectors. The concentrations found were mostly in the 0-3 μg/L range, with some peaks between 3 and 14 μg/L. The averages over all spring and summer samples analyzed ranged from 0.14 (bentazone) to 1.54 μg/L (diuron). Time and space specific patterns could be observed. 相似文献

A sensitive and fast method for the determination of nitrous acid (HONO) in air is described. The method combines a continuous collection of nitrous acid into a thin film of absorption liquid in a cylindrical wet effluent diffusion denuder (CWEDD) and on-line analysis of collected nitrous acid at the denuder concentrate employing a flow-injection analysis (FIA) where nitrous acid is oxidized into peroxynitrous acid and a chemiluminescent light emitted during the reaction of peroxynitrite with luminol is detected. Various absorption solutions (carbonate, bicarbonate, phosphate) as well as deionized water were compared from point of view of collection efficiency of nitrous acid at the CWEDD and selectivity and sensitivity of nitrous acid determination in air.All tested liquids provide quantitative collection of HONO in the CWEDD at the air flow rate of 1 L min−1. The detection limit of nitrous acid of 15 ppt (v/v) is the same for all tested liquids. Small positive interference of nitrogen dioxide and peroxyacetylnitrate has been found. The lowest interference of NO2 was found for 1 × 10−4 M NaHCO3 (pH 6.4; 0.18%) while for deionized water interference of NO2 (0.28%) was slightly higher. The lowest interference of peroxyacetylnitrate was found for deionized water (1.46%). No enhanced formation of HONO inside the cylindrical wet effluent diffusion denuder was observed for simultaneous bringing of nitrogen dioxide together with phenol, p-cresol, guaiacol, catechol, o-nitrophenol as well as with n-octane, n-nonane, n-decane, isoprene, α-pinene, β-pinene, camphene, 3-carene, α-phellandrene, S-limonene, benzene, toluene or o-xylene in comparison with formation of HONO only in the presence NO2.Deionized water was chosen as the optimum absorption liquid for the sampling of atmospheric nitrous acid at the CWEDD as well as for FIA chemiluminescent detection. The time resolution is 70 s and the response time is 164 s. The calibration curve is linear over 4 orders of magnitude (0.045-450 ppb HONO). The CWEDD-FIA technique has been applied to the measurement of nitrous acid in urban air. 相似文献
