Tolerance-enhanced SU(1,1) interferometers using asymmetric gain

SU(1,1) interferometers play an important role in quantum metrology. Previous studies focus on various inputs and detection strategies with symmetric gain. In this paper, we analyze a modified SU(1,1) interferometer using asymmetric gain. Two vacuum states are used as the input and on-off detection is performed at the output. In a lossless scenario, symmetric gain is the optimal selection and the corresponding phase sensitivity can achieve the Heisenberg limit as well as the quantum Cramer-Rao bound. In addition, we analyze the phase sensitivity with symmetric gain in the lossy scenario. The phase sensitivity is sensitive to internal losses but extremely robust against external losses. We address the optimal asymmetric gain and the results suggest that this method can improve the tolerance to internal losses. Our work may contribute to the practical development of quantum metrology.     

Development of LC–MS method for analysis of paclitaxel-inhibited growth and enhanced therapeutic response in human glioblastoma cells

Glioma stem cells are considered responsible for drug resistance and glioma relapse resulting in poor prognosis in glioblastoma multiforme. SU3 glioma cell is a highly invasive glioma stem cell line from the patients with glioblastoma multifrome. It is of great significance to study the efficacy and molecular mechanism for anticancer drug effects on SU3 glioma cells. In this work, we develop a liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry(LC–MS) method for direct analysis of the role of drugs(paclitaxel)on SU3 glioma cells at the molecular level. We use the specific fluorescence dyes to evaluate cell viability,the levels of ROS and GSH when the cells were treated with drugs. In addition, the LC–MS platform was successfully employed to detect the amount of 6-O-methylguanine, demonstrating that it is effective to induce cell apoptosis and enhance the cytotoxic response of SU3 glioma cells. The analytical linear equals are Y = 9.49 ? 105 X + 2.42 ? 104 for 6-O-methylguanine(R2= 0.9998) and Y = 4.72 ? 104 X + 2.21 ? 103(R2= 0.9996) for 7-methylguanine. Thus, the combination of cell-specific fluorescence dyes and LC–MS method enables us to reveal the molecular mechanism of paclitaxel-inhibited growth and enhanced therapeutic response in the chemotherapy for glioma multiforme.     

Ca3ZnGeO2[Ge4O12]: a Ca–Zn germanate related to the mineral taikanite

The title compound, Ca₃ZnGeO₂[Ge₄O₁₂] (tricalcium zinc germanium dioxide dodecaoxidotetragermanate), adopts a taikanite‐type structure. The tetrahedral [Ge₄O₁₂] chain geometry is very similar to that of the silicate chain of taikanite, i.e. BaSr₂Mn³⁺₂O₂[Si₄O₁₂], while the major difference is found parallel to the c axis. In taikanite, Mn³⁺ octahedra form an infinite zigzag chain, whereas the title compound has a chain of distorted ZnO₆ octahedra, which alternates with distorted GeO₄ tetrahedra connected to each other via two common edges. Eightfold‐coordinated Ca²⁺ polyhedra and ZnO₆ octahedra form a slab parallel to (001) which alternates with another slab containing the tetrahedrally coordinated Ge sites along the c axis.     

The Unitary Operator Corresponding to the General Two-Mode Coordinate-Momentum Mixed Transformation

We discuss the unitary operator corresponding to the general two-mode coordinate-momentum mixed transformation(q2,p2)→(Aq1 Bq2,Cq1 Dp2),where A,B,C and Dare arbitrary real numbers,Suitably selecting the parameters A,B,Cand D,we obtain a new two-mode bosonic realization of the SU(1,1) Lie algebra.We also study the squeezing effects of the squeezed vacuum associated with the new two-mode bosonic realization of the SU(1,1) Lie algebra.The results show that the new squeezed vacuum does not possess second-order squeezing,but exhibits higher-order squeezing.     

用改进的格点哈密顿量计算2+1维SU(3)胶球质量

应用改进的格点哈密顿量和保持连续极限的耦合集团展开方法计算了2+1维SU(3)0⁺和0^－胶球的质量.计算到三级近似,标度行为已经很好.与未改进的格点哈密顿量作的同样近似比较,改进的结果较快地进入标度区,而且标度性也较好.     

Fe-Mn-Si形状记忆合金fc(γ)→hcp(ε)马氏体相变温度的热力学预报

借助于Ｆｅ－Ｍｎ－Ｓｉ合金层错几率Ｐｓｆ的Ｘ射线测量,计算了Ｐｓｆ与合金成分的关系,得到Ｆｅ－Ｍｎ－Ｓｉ三元系的１／Ｐｓｆ表达式．结合层错形核的热力学模型,经回归得Ｆｅ－Ｍｎ－Ｓｉ合金ｆｃ（γ）→ｈｃｐ（ε）马氏体相变的临界相变驱动力和Ｐｓｆ的关系式,进而得到临界相变驱动力与合金成分的关系．借助Ｐｓｆ建立了成分与相变驱动力之间的关系,结合有关热力学分析计算得到的Ｆｅ－Ｍｎ－Ｓｉ合金γ和ε两相Ｇｉｂｂｓ自由能曲线,预报了Ｆｅ－Ｍｎ－Ｓｉ三元系合金的ｆｃｃ（γ）→ｈｃｐ（ε）马氏体相变的温度．     

用HJC本构模型模拟混凝土SHPB实验

运用Holmquist-Johnson-Cook (HJC) 本构模型对混凝土的SHPB实验进行了数值模拟。解决了罚函数算法中罚因子合理数值的选取问题。利用模拟结果按SHPB两波法重构了试样的应力应变曲线。分析了混凝土材料的SHPB实验得到应力应变曲线的有效段范围和各段的力学规律。通过比较实际混凝土材料SHPB实验和数值模拟得到的应力应变曲线,发现两者体现的力学行为很相似,即HJC模型是描述该类材料的一种合理本构模型。模拟了试样不同平行度公差下的SHPB实验,发现在一定应变率范围内其影响程度远大于试样应力(应变)不均匀性。

超形变带Staggering现象的SUq(2)描述

利用SU_q(2)转动谱公式分析了¹⁴⁹Gd(1),¹⁴⁸Gd(6)和¹⁴⁸Eu(1)超形变带的staggering现象.当选择合适的带首自旋,计算的ΔI=4的分岔和实验提取的结果惊人地吻合,表明q形变或许是产生原子核超形变带staggering现象的原因之一.     

利用Raman相互作用构造类可控非门

利用一个参量频率转换过程,在腔中制备双模SU(2)相干态,然后注入A型三能级原子,使之与腔场的一个模发生Raman相互作用,生成腔场-原子纠缠态,通过对原子进行选择性测量,可获得奇偶SU(2)相干态.我们分别将原子能级和奇偶相干态编者按码为目标量子比特和控制量子比特,利用Raman相互作用可构造出类可控非门.
