Complex nonlinearities of rotor-seal systems make it difficult to implement some widely used techniques for nonlinear vibrations. This is partly due to the fact that it is rather cumbersome to expand the nonlinear terms into Fourier series. In this paper, a novel Fourier series expansion method is proposed to circumvent this difficulty. The incremental harmonic balance method is utilized to obtain the solutions of a rotor-seal system, where the complicated nonlinearities are handled by the expansion method. Periodic, double-periodic and triple-periodic solutions are obtained in excellent agreement with numerical results, which shows the validity and efficacy of the proposed solution procedures. 相似文献

The accurate determination of absorbed dose in small photon beams, especially for stereotactic radiation therapy, is a difficult task with commercially available detectors. As these small fields are characterized by high dose gradients, a lack of lateral particle equilibrium and a variation of energy spectra with beam sizes, a dosimeter with high resolution, tissue-equivalence and high precision is required. The new radiochromic film EBT2, which meets these criteria, was fully characterized in Institut de Radioprotection et Sûreté Nucléaire (IRSN) for this application. This type of film was tested with the reading system EPSON Dual Lens Perfection V700 flatbed scanner in transmission mode. Warm-up effects of the scanner were studied as well as the influence of the scanner light. Uniformity of unirradiated and irradiated EBT2 films in terms of pixel value was found to be respectively 0.3% (1 SD) and 0.5% (1 SD). An original, accurate and efficient radiochromic film dosimetry protocol was established. The overall uncertainty for dose measurement with EBT2 films using this protocol was estimated at less than 2% (1 SD). This paper addresses an adaptive output-feedback tracking problem of arbitrarily switched pure-feedback nonlinear systems with time-varying output constraints and unknown control directions. In this work, the tracking problem of switched non-affine nonlinear systems with output constraints is transformed into the stabilization problem of switched unconstrained affine systems. The main contribution of this paper is to present a universal formula for constructing an adaptive state-observer-based tracking controller with only two adaptive parameters by using the common Lyapunov function method. These adaptive parameters in the proposed control scheme are derived using the function approximation technique and a priori knowledge of the signs of control gain functions is not required. The theoretical analysis is presented for the Lyapunov stability and the constraint satisfaction of the resulting closed-loop system in the presence of arbitrary switchings. 相似文献

This paper presents an output-based adaptive algorithm for unsteady simulations of convection-dominated flows. A space–time discontinuous Galerkin discretization is used in which the spatial meshes remain static in both position and resolution, and in which all elements advance by the same time step. Error estimates are computed using an adjoint-weighted residual, where the discrete adjoint is computed on a finer space obtained by order enrichment of the primal space. An iterative method based on an approximate factorization is used to solve both the forward and adjoint problems. The output error estimate drives a fixed-growth adaptive strategy that employs hanging-node refinement in the spatial domain and slab bisection in the temporal domain. Detection of space–time anisotropy in the localization of the output error is found to be important for efficiency of the adaptive algorithm, and two anisotropy measures are presented: one based on inter-element solution jumps, and one based on projection of the adjoint. Adaptive results are shown for several two-dimensional convection-dominated flows, including the compressible Navier–Stokes equations. For sufficiently-low accuracy levels, output-based adaptation is shown to be advantageous in terms of degrees of freedom when compared to uniform refinement and to adaptive indicators based on approximation error and the unweighted residual. Time integral quantities are used for the outputs of interest, but entire time histories of the integrands are also compared and found to converge rapidly under the proposed scheme. In addition, the final output-adapted space–time meshes are shown to be relatively insensitive to the starting mesh. 相似文献
