杂交稻亲本始穗期与栽培条件关系的研究

本文研究了杂交稻制种中,营养生长阶段的栽培条件与亲本始穗期的关系,适宜的营养面积和空间与植株个体和群体生长势,花粉密度呈正相关。利用栽培技术来调节花期和花粉密度,对提高制种产量有重要作用。     

聚醚醚酮链结构与反应的模型化合物的量子化学研究

利用ＡＭ１方法对聚醚醚酮模型化合物全优化，结果为：芳环平均相互扭转角为３３．０度，桥键角１１７．０－１１８．０度，其分子结构拓扑图形表明：所有苯环（核）为平面构型，但其内角扭曲；其氢原子对苯环构型无实质性贡献，在更长链的计算中，冻结苯核与氢原子也得出满意结果，根据Ｍｕｌｌｉｋｅｎ键序与电荷讨论了醚交换与磺化反应。

A convection/reaction/switching system

We consider a spatially distributed hybrid system consisting of a convection/reaction system in which the reaction switches discontinuously in time between modes, independently at each spatial point on reaching “switching thresholds”. The model involves a novel formulation for evolution of the free boundary between the modal regions.     

关于Erdos-Jacobson-Lehel 问题的门槛

设σ(k,n）表示最小的正整数m，使得对于每个n项正可图序列，当其项和至少为m时，有一个实现含k 1个顶点的团作为其子图。Erdos等人猜想：σ(k,n）＝（k-1)(2n-k) 2.Li等人证明了这个猜想对于k≥5，n≥（^k2））＋3是对的，并且提出如下问题：确定最小的整数N（k），使得这个猜想对于n≥N(k）成立。他们同时指出：当k≥5时，[5k-1/2]≤N(k）≤（^k2) 3.Mubayi猜想：当k≥5时，N(k）＝[5k-1/2]。在本文中，我们证明了N（8）＝20，即Mubayi猜想对于k=8是成立的。     

Memory management optimization problems for integrated circuit simulators

In hardware design, it is necessary to simulate the anticipated behavior of the integrated circuit before it is actually cast in silicon. As simulation procedures are long due to the great number of tests to be performed, optimization of the simulation code is of prime importance. This paper describes two mathematical models for the minimization of the memory access times for a cycle-based simulator.An integrated circuit being viewed as a directed acyclic graph, the problem consists in building a graph order on the vertices, compatible with the relation order induced by the graph, in order to minimize a cost function that represents the memory access time. For both proposed cost functions, we show that the corresponding problems are NP-complete. However, we show that the special cases where the graphs are in-trees or out-trees can be solved in polynomial time.     

Parallelization of population-based multi-objective meta-heuristics: An empirical study

In single-objective optimization it is possible to find a global optimum, while in the multi-objective case no optimal solution is clearly defined, but several that simultaneously optimize all the objectives. However, the majority of this kind of problems cannot be solved exactly as they have very large and highly complex search spaces. Recently, meta-heuristic approaches have become important tools for solving multi-objective problems encountered in industry as well as in the theoretical field. Most of these meta-heuristics use a population of solutions, and hence the runtime increases when the population size grows. An interesting way to overcome this problem is to apply parallel processing. This paper analyzes the performance of several parallel paradigms in the context of population-based multi-objective meta-heuristics. In particular, we evaluate four alternative parallelizations of the Pareto simulated annealing algorithm, in terms of quality of the solutions, and speedup.     

Highly polarized dithiafulvenes: synthesis and nonlinear optical properties

Push-pull dithiafulvenes with reduced bond length alternation (BLA) and high optical nonlinearities have been prepared. The interplay between the proaromaticity of the donor and the structural and optical properties of these merocyanines is discussed. The donor ability of dithiafulvenes can reach that of ferrocene or dialkylaminophenyl groups.     

The vertex-cover polynomial of a graph

In this paper we define the vertex-cover polynomial Ψ(G,τ) for a graph G. The coefficient of τ^r in this polynomial is the number of vertex covers V′ of G with |V′|=r. We develop a method to calculate Ψ(G,τ). Motivated by a problem in biological systematics, we also consider the mappings f from {1, 2,…,m} into the vertex set V(G) of a graph G, subject to f⁻¹(x)f⁻¹(y)≠ for every edge xy in G. Let F(G,m) be the number of such mappings f. We show that F(G,m) can be determined from Ψ(G,τ).     

Characterization of supercommuting matrices

For a given n-by-n matrix A, we consider the set of matrices which commute with A and all of whose principal submatrices commute with the corresponding principal submatrices of A. The properties of this set are examined, with particular attention to its dimension.
