Photocatalytic Activity of High Aspect Ratio TiO2 Nanorods

In this article, TiO₂ nanorods (aspect ratio >20) were prepared through a polyol process and doped with metal ions (Cu²⁺, Ni²⁺, Fe³⁺, and Cr³⁺). Compared with TiO₂ nanoparticles, the TiO₂ nanorods displayed relatively higher photocatalytic activity for the degradation of copper sulfophthalocyanine. Moreover, the photocatalytic activity was greatly enhanced when the metal ions were doped in the TiO₂ nanorods.     

奎宁-杂多酸杂化催化剂催化H2O2为氧源的苯羟基化反应

将奎宁与Keggin结构磷钼钒杂多酸结合制备出一种新颖的多相苯羟基化杂化催化剂, 采用傅里叶变换红外光谱、紫外-可见光谱、X射线衍射、扫描电镜、热重、N₂吸附-脱附和CHN元素分析等表征手段对催化剂进行了分析. 结果表明, 该催化剂是一种具有较高比表面积和孔体积的半无定形有机杂多酸盐. 在H₂O₂为氧源的苯羟基化反应中, 杂化催化剂引导了液-固两相催化体系, 表现出较高催化活性和重复使用稳定性. 催化剂中奎宁与杂多阴离子间的氢键和电子相互作用赋予了其高熔点和难溶性, 而高比表面积和因奎宁而改善的杂多阴离子的氧化还原性是其获得优异催化性能的主要原因. 这为多相苯羟基化反应提供了一种新的且制备便捷的基于多金属氧酸盐的高效催化剂.

纳米碳材料直接作为催化剂的非金属碳催化是目前材料科学与催化领域的前沿方向之一.相对于传统金属催化剂,纳米碳材料催化剂具有高效环保、低能耗、耐腐蚀等优点.在烃类转化、化学品合成、能源催化等领域表现出优异的催化性能和发展潜力.综述了近年来纳米碳非金属催化研究的最新进展,主要包括新型纳米碳材料的表面性质、催化特性、反应机理和宏观制备等关键问题,并对纳米碳催化存在的挑战和前景进行了展望.     

Decatungstate Incorporated Metal-organic Framework for Degradation of Rhodamine B under Sunlight Irradiation

A new decatungstate incorporated metal-organic framework {[Co2（bpdo）5（H2O）n- W10O32]}n·nbpdo·2nH2O（1, bpdo = 4,4＇-bis（pyridine-N-oxide） has been synthesized through a one-step hydrothermal reaction and characterized by elemental analyses, IR, solid UV-vis absorption spectra, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The structural analysis indicates that 1 displays a one-dimensional ladder structure with [W10O32]4- as guest incorporated by electrostatic interaction. The photocatalytic property of the framework toward a rhodamine B （RhB） solution was also investigated. The results indicated that compound 1 possesses high photocatalytic activity in heterogeneous system under sunlight irradiated.

Local stability of the Cournot solution with increasing heterogeneous competitors

In this paper we try to solve a paradox related to the results of Theocharis (1960). When the number of competitors increases the Cournot–Nash equilibrium loses stability. We relax the assumption about homogeneity in the decision mechanism and show that if we admit heterogeneity than by increasing the number of competitors the stability region on the parameters’ space may enlarge instead of shrinking.     

Recyclable N-heterocyclic carbene/palladium catalyst on graphene oxide for the aqueous-phase Suzuki reaction

Graphene oxide (GO) was functionalized with a N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) precursor, 3-(3-aminopropyl)-1-methylimidazolium bromide ([APMIm][Br]) for the immobilization of palladium catalyst. The GO-supported NHC precursor (IMGO) formed a stable complex with Pd(OAc)₂ (GO–NHC–Pd), which showed excellent catalytic activity and fast reaction kinetics in the aqueous-phase Suzuki reaction of aryl bromides and chlorides at relatively mild conditions (1 h at 50 °C). The GO–NHC–Pd catalyst was reused several times without any loss of its catalytic activity in the Suzuki reaction of aryl bromide.     

Heterogeneous platinum catalytic aerobic oxidation of cyclopentane-1,2-diols to cyclopentane-1,2-diones

A method for the aerobic oxidation of cyclopentane-1,2-diols to the corresponding diketones over a commercial heterogeneous Pt/C catalyst is described. Unsubstituted and 3- or 4-substituted cyclopentane-1,2-diols are oxidized to 1,2-dicarbonyl compounds in good yields under the reported optimized reaction conditions (atmospheric air, 1 mol % of catalyst, 1 equiv of LiOH, aqueous solvents and 60 °C temperature). The method is applicable for producing cyclopentane-1,2-diketones in a scalable manner.     

Multi-wall carbon nanotube-supported manganese(III) porphyrin: An efficient and reusable catalyst for the oxidation of alkenes with H2O2 under ultrasonic irradiation

A manganese complex of meso-tetrakis(p-hydroxyphenyl)porphyrin immobilized onto functionalized multi-wall carbon nanotubes has been synthesized and characterized. The catalytic activity of this heterogeneous catalyst was investigated in the oxidation of various olefins with hydrogen peroxide under ultrasonic irradiation. The role of the stoichiometric amounts of acetic anhydride/or acetic acid as an activator that introduces in situ peracetic acid is discussed. This heterogeneous catalyst was highly reusable in the oxidation reactions and reused several times without significant loss of its catalytic activity.     

光催化剂沸石/Fe_2O_3/TiO_2的制备、表征及性能

以天然沸石为载体,以钛酸丁酯、硝酸铁为主要原料,用溶胶-凝胶法成功制备负载型Fe_2O_3/TiO_2光催化剂;采用XRD、SEM、EDS及XPS对样品进行结构表征及化学组成分析.结果表明:400℃焙烧所制得光催化剂中TiO_2主要以锐钛矿形式存在,掺杂铁元素主要以价键形式分布在沸石中,负载Fe_2O_3/TiO_2的沸石主要呈球形和类球形.降解实验表明:光催化剂对甲基橙具有良好的降解性能,且易回收再利用.
