Fermi and Coulomb correlations in the 21 S state of the helium isoelectronic sequence

The Fermi and Coulomb holes of the 2¹ S state of the helium isoelectronic sequence are investigated. Several interesting differences between the results obtained and those which might be expected on the basis of the corresponding 2³ S state are pointed out and discussed.

通过直接熔融缩聚法合成了一系列聚十二烷二元酸酯，用GPC、^1H—NMR、FTIR对产物进行了表征，并讨论了预聚酯合成时催化剂浓度和种类、预聚反应温度、预聚初始醇酸摩尔比对聚合反应的影响。结果表明，在所选的三个催化剂体系中，氮化亚锡二水合物与对甲苯磺酸复合催化剂的催化效果最好；最佳反应条件：n对甲苯横酯／n二元酸=0．0021～0．0032，反应温度为160～180℃，醇酸摩尔比范围为1．05—1.10。     

Electron diffraction study of the molecular structure of gaseous 1,1-dibromo-3,3,5,5-tetramethyl-1-stanna-3,5-disila-4-oxacyclohexane,Br2Sn(CH2SiMe2)2O

The molecular structure of gaseous Br₂Sn(CH₂SiMe₂)₂O was studied by electron diffraction. The six-membered ring has a chair conformation whereas the entire molecule possessesC _s symmetry. The existence of a boat conformer cannot be completely excluded. The results of theoretical calculations for a twisted-boat conformation are at variance with the experimental data. Steric strain caused by mutual repulsion of the two axial methyl groups is reduced to the tilt of the Me₂Si fragments in opposite directions. This results in an increase (up to 26°C) in the angle formed by the bisector of the C_M-Si-C_M angle with the C_cSiO plane. The main geometrical parameters are as follows:r _g (Å): Si-O 1.708(20); Si-C_M 1.862(20); Si-C_c 1.882(9); Sn-C 2.108(26); Sn-Br 2.456(3); C-H 1.099(30); (degr.): C-Sn-C 105(2); Br-Sn-Br 107.9(1.2); Si-O-Si 129.6(3); C_M-Si-C_M 112; Si-C-H 113 (fixed value in accordance with experiment); C_c-Si-O 107(2); Sn-C-Si 109(2); torsion angles: (Si-C) 52(2); (Si-O) 62(1); (C_c-Sn) 54(1). The average amplitudes were fixed at the values calculated from the force field. Reexamination of the thermolytic rearrangement of 4-halophenyl azides to 2-aminophenols and other products

Summary The halogenation of derivatives of 2-aminophenol with N-chloro- and N-bromosuccinimides at ambient temperatures in acetic acid was studied. With the necessary compounds available, a reexamination of the thermolytic rearrangement of 2-halophenyl azides to 2-aminophenols and other products was undertaken. It is certain that the rearrangement of 4-halophenyl azides to 2-aminophenols occurs but the products identified in this study differ significantly from those reported previously by Suschitzky et al. (1963, 1966).

Neuuntersuchung der thermolytischen Umlagerung von 4-Halogenphenylaziden zu 2-Aminophenolen und anderen Produkten

Zusammenfassung Es wurde die Halogenierung von 2-Aminophenol-Derivaten mit N-Chlor- und N-Bromsuccinimid bei Raumtemperatur in Essigsäure untersucht. Mit den zur Verfügung stehenden Verbindungen konnte eine Neuuntersuchung der thermolytischen Umlagerung von 4-Halogenphenylaziden zu 2-Aminophenolen und anderen Produkten unternommen werden. Diese Umlagerung findet sicherlich statt, allerdings differieren die dabei beobachteten Produkte signifikant von denen, die Suschitzky et al. 1963 und 1966 beschrieben.

用新方法合成了1-烷基-1'-乙酰基二茂铁,该法与传统方法相比易于得到单一产物.通过7种1-烷基二茂铁甲酸与三氯化磷作用形成酰氯,再与乙酰乙酸乙酯的钠盐进行反应,皂化脱羧得到1-烷基-1'-乙酰基二茂铁化合物,用元素分析、红外光谱、核磁共振氢谱确定了化合物的结构.

Tributyltin hydride-mediated straightforward synthesis of a new isoxazolo-benzazulene system from the derivatives afforded by the Baylis-Hillman reaction of 3-(2-bromophenyl)-4-isoxazolecarbaldehydes is described.     

Development of a Novel Approach to Formation of a Pyrrole Ring: Synthesis of 2,3,5-Substituted 1-[2-(Vinyloxy)ethyl]pyrroles

Reaction of 2-(vinyloxy)ethylisothiocyanate with unsaturated carbanions generated in situ from propargyl ethers and amines when treated with superbases, after S-alkylation and cyclization of the adducts in the presence of CuBr, leads to the previously unknown 2,3,5-substituted 1-[2-(vinyloxy)ethyl]pyrroles.     

Structure of 2-Amino-4-phenyl-9H-pyrimido[4,5-b]indole and Its Nitrate in Crystal and Solution

The crystal structures of 2-amino-4-phenyl-9H-pyrimido[4,5-b]indole and its nitrate were determined by XRD analysis. ¹³C NMR, XRD, and quantum-chemical data indicate that the acid proton is predominantly localized at the N(3) atom of the pyrimidine ring in both isolated nitrate molecules and in molecules in crystal and solution.     

Synthesis of diaminohydroxyethersvia 3-(ω-haloalkoxy)-2-hydroxypropyl sulfamates

Selective dimerization of α-methylstyrene catalyzed by a solid acid

A novel solid acid prepared from concentrated sulfuric, boric and phosphoric acid is a highly selective catalyst for the dimerization of α-methylstyrene at room temperature to generate 4-methyl-2,4-diphenyl-1-pentene.
