LIMIT CYCLES BIFURCATION FOR A CLASS OF DEGENERATE SINGULARITY

In this paper, bifurcation of limit cycles for the degenerate equilibrium to a three- dimensional system is investigated. Firstly, we use formal series to calculate the focal values at the high-order critical point on center manifold. Then an example is studied, and the existence of 3 limit cycles on the center manifold is proved. In terms of high- order singularities in high-dimensional systems, our results are new.

本文研究了具有非负Ricci曲率和次大体积增长的完备黎曼流形的拓扑结构问题.利用Toponogov型比较定理及临界点理论,获得了流形具有有限拓扑型的结果,推广了H.Zhan和Z.Shen的定理,并且还证明了该流形的基本群是有限生成的.

证明6维严格近凯勒流形中的二阶平行拉格朗日子流形一定是全测地的,这推广了 L.Vrancken等人文中的一个重要结果.特别地,得到了齐性近凯勒S3×S3中该类拉格朗日子流形的完全分类.     

Stabilization of 4-manifolds

The complex surface X obtained by 8 points blown up on CP2 and Barlow’s surface Y are homeomorphic,but not diffeomorphic.Using the Gromov-Witten invariant Ruan showed that the stabilized manifolds X×S2and Y×S2are not deformation equivalent.In this note,we show that the stabilized manifolds X×S1and Y×S1are diffeomorphic and non-deformation equivalent in cosymplectic sense.     

Gromov–Witten Invariants of Blow-ups Along Surfaces

In this paper, using the gluing formula of Gromov–Witten invariants for symplectic cutting developed by Li and Ruan, we established some relations between Gromov–Witten invariants of a semipositive symplectic manifold M and its blow-ups along a smooth surface.     

Generalized Transportation-Cost Inequalities and Applications

For μ: = e ^V(x)dx a probability measure on a complete connected Riemannian manifold, we establish a correspondence between the Entropy-Information inequality and the transportation-cost inequality for μ(f ²) = 1, where Φ and Ψ are increasing functions. Moreover, under the curvature–dimension condition, a Sobolev type HWI (entropy-cost-information) inequality is established. As applications, explicit estimates are obtained for the Sobolev constant and the diameter of a compact manifold, which either extend or improve some corresponding known results. Killing vector fields of constant length on Riemannian manifolds

We study the nontrivial Killing vector fields of constant length and the corresponding flows on complete smooth Riemannian manifolds. Various examples are constructed of the Killing vector fields of constant length generated by the isometric effective almost free but not free actions of S ¹ on the Riemannian manifolds close in some sense to symmetric spaces. The latter manifolds include “almost round” odd-dimensional spheres and unit vector bundles over Riemannian manifolds. We obtain some curvature constraints on the Riemannian manifolds admitting nontrivial Killing fields of constant length.     

Yamabe方程在完备流形上的一个推广

This paper considers a semilinear elliptic equation on a n-dimensional complete noncompact Riemannian manifold,which is a generalization of the well known Yamabe equation.An existence result is proved.     

On quasi-conformally flat weakly Ricci symmetric manifolds

The object of the present paper is to study quasi-conformally flat weakly Ricci symmetric manifolds.
