Quasimin and quasisaddlepoint for vector optimization

For a constrained multicriteria optimization problem with differentiable functions, but not assuming any convexity, vector analogs of quasimin, Kuhn-Tucker point, and (suitably defined) vector quasisaddlepoint are shown to be equivalent. A constraint qualification is assumed. Similarly, a proper (by Geoffrion's definition) weak minimum is equivalent to a Kuhn–Tucker point with a strictly positive multiplier for the objective, and also to a vector quasisaddlepoint with an attached stability property. Under generalized invex hypotheses, these properties reduce to proper minimum and stable saddlepoint. Various known results are thus unified.     

EXPERIMENTAL EVALUATION ON MODULUS OF EQUIVALENT HOMOGENEOUS ETTRINGITE

In the present study, the average modulus of delayed ettringite is evaluated by an experimental method combined with theoretical analysis. Firstly, the delayed ettringite crystal is synthesized by chemical reaction of Aluminum sulfate and calcium hydroxide. Secondly, specimens are obtained by compressing the delayed ettringite crystal under different pre-loads. Thirdly, the variation of the modulus of the specimen with different pre-loads is tested using Instron material test machine and the SHPB technique, respectively. It is found that the experimental data may be suitably fitted by Boltzmann Function. Finally, the porosity of the specimen is detected using the saturation method, and the effect of the porosity on the modulus is analyzed by the Eshelby＇s equivalent inclusion method and the Mori-Tanaka＇s scheme. The static and dynamic modulli of the equivalent homogeneous ettringite obtained in present study are approximately 10.64 GPa and 24.61 GPa, respectively.     

Half Antiperovskites: IV. Crystallographic and Electronic Structure Investigations on A2Rh3S2 (A = In,Sn, Tl,Pb, Bi)

The crystal and electronic structures of ordered half antiperovskites A₂Rh₃S₂ = ARh_3/2S (A = In, Sn, Tl, Pb, Bi) are investigated. From powder and single crystal data superstructures, rhodium site ordering, trends in bonding and coordination are analysed with respect to the A site atom. Comparisons address isotypic and isoelectronic relations to monoclinic parkerite (Bi₂Ni₃S₂) type superconductors, the trigonal half‐metal ferromagnet Sn₂Co₃S₂, and rhodium‐containing antiperovskites. Local structure and bonding is analysed with respect to the ordered occupation of half of S₂A₄ sites (= perovskite oxygen sites) and interlinking to 2D networks [Rh₃S₂]_∞^δ– by face‐, edge‐ and corner‐sharing. The theoretical part includes DFT band structure and ELF calculations, systematic comparisons to rhodium and antiperovskites, as well as spin‐polarised calculations on Sn₂Rh₃S₂ and Pb₂Rh₃S₂.     

Fuzzy φψ-continuous Functions between L-topological Spaces (I)

In the present paper, φψ-continuous function on L-topological spaces and productive operation are defined. By means of this operation,we study fuzzy φψ-continuity from L-product spaces into L-product spaces and also from L-topological spaces into L-product spaces.     

Stationary solutions to an energy model for semiconductor devices where the equations are defined on different domains

We discuss a stationary energy model from semiconductor modelling. We accept the more realistic assumption that the continuity equations for electrons and holes have to be considered only in a subdomain Ω₀ of the domain of definition Ω of the energy balance equation and of the Poisson equation. Here Ω₀ corresponds to the region of semiconducting material, Ω \ Ω₀ represents passive layers. Metals serving as contacts are modelled by Dirichlet boundary conditions. We prove a local existence and uniqueness result for the two‐dimensional stationary energy model. For this purpose we derive a W^1,p ‐regularity result for solutions of systems of elliptic equations with different regions of definition and use the Implicit Function Theorem. Quadratic function fields with exponent two ideal class group

It has been shown by Madden that there are only finitely many quadratic extensions of k(x), k a finite field, in which the ideal class group has exponent two and the infinity place of k(x) ramifies. We give a characterization of such fields that allow us to find a full list of all such field extensions for future reference. In doing so we correct some errors in earlier published literature.
