Existence of pulses in excitable media with nonlocal coupling

We prove the existence of fast traveling pulse solutions in excitable media with non-local coupling. Existence results had been known, until now, in the case of local, diffusive coupling and in the case of a discrete medium, with finite-range, non-local coupling. Our approach replaces methods from geometric singular perturbation theory, that had been crucial in previous existence proofs, by a PDE oriented approach, relying on exponential weights, Fredholm theory, and commutator estimates.     

Fredholm boundary value problems for perturbed systems of dynamic equations on time scales

This paper offers conditions ensuring the existence of solutions of linear boundary value problems for systems of dynamic equations on time scales. Utilizing a method of Moore–Penrose pseudo‐inverse matrices leads to an analytical form of a criterion for the existence of solutions in a relevant space and, moreover, to the construction of a family of linearly independent solutions of such problems in a general case with the number of boundary conditions (defined by a linear vector functional) not coinciding with the number of unknowns of a system of dynamic equations. As an example of an application of the presented results, the problem of bifurcation of solutions of boundary value problems for systems of dynamic equations on time scales with a small parameter is considered.     

Vegetable Extracts and Nutrients Useful in the Recovery from Helicobacter pylori Infection: A Systematic Review on Clinical Trials

Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infections affect almost half of the world’s population, with gradually increasing incidence in developed countries. Eradication of H. pylori may provide significant benefits to the affected individual by healing a number of gastrointestinal and extra-digestive disorders. But due to increased microbial resistance and lack of patient adherence to the therapy, the eradication rate of H. pylori is below 80% with current pharmacological therapies. The usage of botanicals for their therapeutic purposes and medicinal properties have been increased in last decades. They can be use as alternative H. pylori treatments, especially against drug-resistant strains. Epidemiological studies have revealed that people with lower vegetable and micronutrient intake may be at increased risk of H. pylori infection. We have undertaken a review of clinical trials to evaluate the efficacy of vegetable extracts and micronutrients in patients with H. pylori. Various databases, such as Google Scholar, PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and the Cochrane Library, were searched for the articles published in English. A total of 24 clinical studies (15 for vegetable extracts and 9 for micronutrients) were selected to be reviewed and summarized in this article. Vegetable extracts (Broccoli sprouts, curcumin, Burdock complex, and Nigella sativa) and micronutrients (vitamin C and E) were not found to be as effective as single agents in H. pylori eradication, rather their efficacy synergized with conventional pharmacological therapies. Conversely, GutGard was found to be significantly effective as a single agent when compared to placebo control.     

基于非同步替代光谱定标的地表下垫面影响分析

对760nm附近的氧气吸收带,选用植被、枯萎植被、人工地物、沙地和雪地五种典型地表类型,基于模拟数据进行非同步替代光谱定标方法的误差分析,比较不同地表类型得到的光谱定标准确度,为高光谱成像仪的非同步替代光谱定标提供定标图像选择策略.结果表明:运用两种光谱匹配方法——光谱角度匹配和欧氏距离法得到的定标误差基本一致;730~800nm的地表反射率曲线标准差在0.05nm以内时,定标误差集中在±0.5nm范围内;人工地物类型中个别地物如橄榄绿光泽涂料和植被大面积覆盖的图像数据不适合用于非同步替代光谱定标.

利用不动点理论给出一类Fredholm积分方程存在解的充分性定理,同时给出了该定理的一些应用.

讨论和分析了一类交错级数的收敛问题,给出了异于莱布尼兹判别法的关于交错级数的一个收敛定理.我们的结论还推广了正项级数的拉阿伯判别法的使用范围.     

一种基于不同粒度语言判断矩阵的群决策方法

针对基于不同粒度语言判断矩阵的群决策问题,提出了一种新的群决策分析方法.对有序语言短语集中的语言短语进行“量化”,通过变量转换关系将语言判断矩阵转换为互补判断矩阵,并进行了判断信息转换的一致性分析;采用OWA算子将每个决策者给出语言判断矩阵所对应的互补判断矩阵集结为群的偏好矩阵,并通过计算每个方案的优势度来确定最优方案;最后给出一个算例说明了所提出的方法的有效性与实用性.

基于移动代理的安全选择式路由协议

为高效安全地保护移动代理路由,针对移动代理的选择式路由结构,利用基本加密签字技术,设计了一种基于移动代理的安全选择式路由协议,并对该协议的安全性和计算复杂度进行了分析.结果表明,新协议不仅满足移动代理选择式路由的所有安全性质,而且与已有的基于嵌套加密技术的惟一方案相比,计算复杂度得到了显著的降低,用户和路由主机的计算复杂度均从原来的O(n2)变为O(n);同时,新协议还具有很好的扩展性.
