Preparation and characterization of finely dispersed drugs. 5. Ethyl 3,5-di(acetylamino)-2,4,6-triiodobenzoate

Controlled precipitation of the diagnostic imaging agent ethyl 3,5-di(acetylamino)-2,4,6-triiodobenzoate has been used to produce fine particles of various sizes, morphologies, and degrees of crystallinity, which depended on experimental conditions. In addition, two distinct polymorphic forms of the drug have been fully characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction studies, and evidence for a third polymorph was also observed. Some of the so prepared dry particles were coated with a thin layer of silica.

以乙酸四氢呋喃甲酯为原料,通过自由基氯化反应,合成双脱氧核苷类抗艾滋病药物的重要中间体化合物5—0—乙酰基—2.3—双脱氧—D.L—吹喃戊糖基氯.对于此种不稳定的中间体化合物,用~1HNMR跟踪监测反应物的方法,研究了改变反应时间、反应温度和反应物摩尔比对反应产物的影响,获得了最佳的反应条件,使其收率从10％提高到50％左右.     

Novel pattern formation in the collapse process of floating monolayer at the air-water interface

We have observed a remarkable two-armed spiral in the collapse process of a floating monolayer at the air-water interface by phase contrast microscopy. This demonstrates that the floating monolayer as a form of soft condensed matter reorganizes itself due to a certain kind of macroscopic or collective behavior of molecules as it collapses. This pattern formation is caused by the breakdown of a critical dynamical balance between the deformation of solid domain and the applied surface pressure. The fragility as well as the flexibility of the floating monolayer can be associated with the observed pattern growth. There are also observed interesting, periodically arranged collections of molecules in numerous collapsed regions. Received: 8 July 1997 / Accepted: 4 November 1997

Synthesis and cyclization of 1-arylalk-1-ene-3,5-diynylamines

An investigation of the reaction of 1-lithio-1,3-diynes, generated in situ, with nitriles has been carried out. In the case of aromatic nitriles 1-arylalk-1-ene-3,5-diynylamines are formed, which undergo dimerization and cyclization on isolation, giving 3-(alka-1,3-diynyl)-4-(alk-2-ynyl)-2,6-diarylpyridines. The effect of the nature of the substituent in the benzonitrile molecule on the selectivity of the reaction and the yield of the products has been determined. A New View on Fuzzy Hypermodules

We describe the relationship between the fuzzy sets and the algebraic hyperstructures. In fact, this paper is a continuation of the ideas presented by Davvaz in （Fuzzy Sets Syst., 117： 477- 484, 2001） and Bhakat and Das in （Fuzzy Sets Syst., 80： 359-368, 1996）. The concept of the quasicoincidence of a fuzzy interval value with an interval-valued fuzzy set is introduced and this is a natural generalization of the quasi-coincidence of a fuzzy point in fuzzy sets. By using this new idea, the concept of interval-valued （α,β）-fuzzy sub-hypermodules of a hypermodule is defined. Commutators, C0-semigroups and resolvent estimates

We study the existence and the continuity properties of the boundary values on the real axis of the resolvent of a self-adjoint operator H in the framework of the conjugate operator method initiated by Mourre. We allow the conjugate operator A to be the generator of a C₀-semigroup (finer estimates require A to be maximal symmetric) and we consider situations where the first commutator [H,iA] is not comparable to H. The applications include the spectral theory of zero mass quantum field models.

A Nonlinear Drift - Diffusion System with Electric Convection Arising in Electrophoretic and Semiconductor Modeling

A multi-dimensional transient drift-diffusion model for (at most) three charged particles, consisting of the continuity equations for the concentrations of the species and the Poisson equation for the electric potential, is considered. The diffusion terms depend on the concentrations. Such a system arises in electrophoretic modeling of three species (neutrally, positively and negatively charged) and in semiconductor theory for two species (positively charged holes and negatively charged electrons). Diffusion terms of degenerate type are also possible in semiconductor modeling. For the initial boundary value problem with mixed Dirichlet - Neumann boundary conditions and general reaction rates, a global existence result is proved. Uniqueness of solutions follows in the Dirichlet boundary case if the diffusion terms are uniformly parabolic or if the initial and boundary densities are strictly positive. Finally, we prove that solutions exist which are positive uniformly in time and globally bounded if the reaction rates satisfy appropriate growth conditions.
