一种求解合作博弈中成本分摊问题的方法

基于n人合作博弈的成本分摊模型，从二次费用分摊的角度提出了解此模型的一种方法，利用所有可能与i结成每一个联盟时的费用缺口的平均值来求βi，同时予以证明并举例说明。     

基于二维卷积的图像插值实时硬件实现

为了实时实现图像处理中的图像插值,提出了一种与具体插值算法无关的通用二维卷积器实现结构和一种使用两级缓存的图像数据存取结构。利用所提出的结构,设计了使用双三次插值的图像插值模块,在可编程逻辑门阵列上进行了实现。进行了图像实时放大的实验。实验结果表明:采用本结构,可以降低片上存储器的消耗,方便地实现比较复杂的插值,达到实时处理的目的。     

A four-node discrete singular convolution for geometric transformation and its application to numerical solution of vibration problem of arbitrary straight-sided quadrilateral plates

A four-node discrete singular convolution (DSC) method is developed for free vibration analysis of arbitrary straight-sided quadrilateral plates. The straight-sided quadrilateral domain is mapped into a square domain in the computational space using a four-node element. By using the geometric transformation, the governing equations and boundary conditions of the plate are transformed from the physical domain into a square computational domain. Numerical examples illustrating the accuracy and convergence of the DSC method for skew, trapezoidal, rhombic and arbitrary quadrilateral plates are presented. The results obtained by DSC method were compared with those obtained by the other numerical methods.     

Asymptotic stability of traveling waves in a discrete convolution model for phase transitions

In a recent paper [P. Bates, A. Chmaj, A discrete convolution model for phase transition, Arch. Rational Mech. Anal. 150 (1999) 281-305], a discrete convolution model for Ising-like phase transition has been derived, and the existence, uniqueness of traveling waves and stability of stationary solution have been studied. This nonlocal model describes l₂-gradient flow for a Helmholts free energy functional with general range interaction. In this paper, by using the comparison principle and the squeezing technique, we prove that the traveling wavefronts with nonzero speed is globally asymptotic stable with phase shift.     

A two pass heuristic algorithm for scheduling ‘blocked out’ units in continuous process industry

This paper addresses the problem of scheduling cascaded ‘blocked out’ continuous processing units separated by finite capacity storage tanks. The raw materials for the product lines arrive simultaneously on the input side of the first unit. But every unit can process only one product line at a time, thus giving rise to the possibility of spillage of raw material due to limited storage capacity. The need to process multiple product lines and the added constraint of multiple intermediate upliftment dates aggravate the problem. This problem is quite common in petrochemical industry. The paper provides a MINLP (Mixed Integer Non-Linear Programming) formulation of the problem. However, for any realistic scheduling horizon, the size of the problem is too large to be solved by standard packages. We have proposed a depth first branch and bound algorithm, guided by heuristics, to help planners in tackling the problem. The suggested algorithm could output near optimal solutions for scheduling horizons of 30 time periods when applied to real life situations involving 3 units and 3 product lines. Preliminary version of the paper appeared in the proceedings of MISTA, 2005.

A limit theorem for products of free unitary operators

This paper establishes necessary and sufficient conditions for the sequence of products of freely independent unitary operators to converge in distribution to the uniform law on the unit circle.
