New isothermal equation of state of solids applied to high pressures

In the present paper, a new two-parameter inverted equation of state (EOS) is developed which is found to be working very well in the high-pressure region. To check its success and validity, this EOS has been applied in a number of solids. The computed volume compression is found to be in very good agreement with the experimental data in the whole range of pressure in all the solids. The minimum and the maximum pressure range used in the present study is 0–320 kbar and 0–3000 kbar, respectively.     

Organic synthesis based on cathodic deprotonation of acids

The results of studies on electrosynthesis involving carb- and heteroanions generated by cathodic deprotonation of acids (CDA), carried out in the laboratory headed by the author, are surveyed. These studies resulted in the elaboration of efficient electrochemical versions of the known Michaelis-Becker, Wittig-Horner, and Perkin reactions; electrochemical analogs of homolytic aromatic substitution, alkylation, heterocyclization,etc. were developed. Based on CDA, convenient and promising methods for preparing variousN-, O-, P-, S-, andC-alkylated and arylated substances have been developed.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. An inverse spectral problem for a nonsymmetric differential operator: Reconstruction of eigenvalue problem

In this paper, an algorithm is established to reconstruct an eigenvalue problem from the given data satisfying certain conditions. These conditions are proved to be not only necessary but also sufficient for the given data to coincide with the spectral characteristics corresponding to the reconstructed eigenvalue problem.     

Nonturnpike Optimal Solutions and Their Approximations in Infinite Horizon

Recently, the authors have proposed a new necessary and sufficient condition for turnpike optimality in calculus of variations with singular Euler equation. The method is based on a characterization of the value function and generalizes the well known method based on the Green theorem. Furthermore, it allows the optimality of a competition between several turnpikes to be characterized. For a class of such problems not enjoying the turnpike property, we give an explicit formula for the value function and show how to characterize the optimal solution as the limiting solution of a family of perturbed problems satisfying the turnpike property. The considered problems are scalar with infinite horizon.     

四苯基卟啉蒽醌化合物与钴(Ⅱ)配位反应动力学

用光度法研究了5-[p-(β-蒽醌酰亚胺)甲氧基]-10，15，20-对甲基四苯基卟啉(H2TPP)在DMF溶剂中与金属钴(Ⅱ)离子配位反应的动力学以及镉(Ⅱ)离子对该反应的催化作用，提出了反应机理，并研究了温度对反应动力学参数的影响，求得基元反应的活化参数△rHm^≠、△rSm^≠及平衡步的△rHm^θ、△rSm^θ．
